Do not despair.  But Hope in the Lord – at all times. 

Listen to how you speak.  Are these words of Hope or are they words of discouragement, discontent?

Please check yourself.

Are you grumbling more than thanking Me?

Are you upset about this and that instead of praising My Presence in your life?

Are you struggling to try to make sense of things, rather than acknowledging that My Hand is on ALL?

What makes you believe that what you see as the right thing to be happening right now, is the right thing according to God’s Will?

We all think that we know God’s Will, because He would never let this or that bad thing happen.

Rather, we are to quickly jump back and acknowledge to our dear Lord that we want a heart that will accept His Will.

Do you see?   We want to make things rosy and right according to us without first and foremost telling the Lord that we want to abide in Him and that means accepting His Will on ALL things.

We let discouragement slink in because we thought for sure that God would not have Willed this to happen.

Either we believe in a God who has us ALL in His Loving Grasp, or we believe in a God who should adjust all things according to my will for the World.

It is simple really.  Do I honestly trust that God’s Hand is on ALL things, happenings, happiness, sadness?

We have to find the God of Love and stick very close to Him.

He Loves me.  So, knowing that I can accept His Will.

Did you ever think of it like that before?

If I say I know God Loves me completely and unconditionally, then I will not debate His Will for the World --- no matter how crazy, how sad, how happy, how strong it appears.

Why the cast down eyes?   

Are you avoiding Me or are you sad because of something bad happening in your life?

OR perhaps you have cast your eyes down in solemn prayer.  

It happens sometimes, doesn’t it, that to avoid distractions we cast our eyes down while endeavouring to lift our hearts up to the Lord.

I want you less distracted this Advent and more attentive to where your heart is in relation to Me and you.

What Grace do you need to make this a healthier and happier Advent?

Now, I am not talking health of body, but rather of your dear soul.  

I am not talking happier as the body sometimes interprets happy.

I want your soul to be rejoicing more in serving Me, and tomorrow and the next day.

So how should I do that Lord?

Well perhaps ask Me for the Grace of a Healthier and Happier soul!

Wow, did you ever think you could or should ask for that Grace?

And if you get it --- I should say when you ask and you then get it, will you recognize it?

But you see, when I send these Graces upon you, I also include instructions and the outcome ---  how will they look in your life.

Be attentive and do not make up anything.   

Just let the Graces enlighten you and I tell you most solemnly they most definitely will.  

Do not look for your body senses to sense them.  

Allow your soul to sense them and their purpose and their results.

We want to “feel” good, “feel” happy, but the soul can be in the deepest of pain and yet know good, know happy.

The Saints are such great examples!

Now please don’t run away saying “I am not a saint’, “I cannot be a saint.”

Then, may I ask “why are you hanging around with Me ?

I am serious – what result do you expect in your life by hanging around with Me?

What outcome can possibly come from hanging around with Me?

I am most serious.  Or do you think I am challenging you just for fun?

I have a great sense of humour, but I am not using it right now.

I want you to step back and ask yourself most sincerely “why am I hanging around with Jesus?”

You must know, or so many opportunities will pass you by.

Do you believe that hanging around with Me, Jesus, will make you a better, holier person?

Is that what you want in your life?

OR, is there something other than holiness you ache for in your life?

Don’t you love these questions!!

I want you to settle in to finding the purpose for you hanging around with Me.  

Ask for the Grace to Enlighten you as to why you are hanging around with Me.

It sounds foolish perhaps, but you need the Grace first of all to hang around with Me, then the added Grace to discern where hanging around with Me is, will take you.
