Ponder My Love

Day Breaks. Yet there is no sound out and about.

The winter air is cold.  Listen, all around is quiet.

I come to comfort My People.

Stand ready to hear these Words of Mine.

Do not shun one of them.  Do not scoff at any as if one is purer than another.  I speak and so it is so.

Ask My Mother to lead you closer to Me.  Her words are gentle, her approach is constant, her willingness to serve Me and save you is constant.

Take her hand and let her guide you.

Right now, place your hand in hers and tell her you want to be closer to her Son this day more than yesterday.

Set yourself apart from things you desire to do, and allow her to take you to do things she knows I want you to do.

You see you are never lost for a constant companion.  She understands her role and she wants you to understand and fulfill yours.

So stop right here and put your hand in hers.

Let every plan you have fall to the side and let her lead you to Me.

She can’t if you do not want her to.

It is like the “I do” marriage vow.  Take her hand and with this action you are saying to Mother Mary “I do” want to be closer to your Son this day than yesterday.

She will know what the small prayer “I do” means to you and Me.

You do not need to explain to her what you want in great detail.  The “I do” prayer is most sufficient.

The less said the better because then we get caught up in our fancy prayer words instead of being caught up in My Words to you.

If My Only Words to you are “I Love you” that is more than sufficient don’t you think?

There is no greater message that mankind needs to hear than “I Love you.”

Precious, precious Beloved One of Mine I want you so, so secure that there must be no doubt about the fact that “I Love you”.

“Jesus Loves me”  say it again  “Jesus Loves me.”

I am more than worthy of His Love for me.

We hesitate to say it because we think it may look as if we are boasting, but we are not.  Rather we are boldly proclaiming His Words to us.  This is the Gospel Message in a

nutshell.  If we do not boldly, joyfully proclaim this to our heart, who else will?

It is a personal message.  It cannot come from a third party and be as personal.  Jesus wants my heart to know personally from my mouth that I am willing, joyfully willing to proclaim His Gospel Message to my own heart first and foremost.

If I do not stand in awe and joy at this message to me, how can I proclaim His Love to others.  It is impossible.

Why would I want to brag to others that I am a sinner?  That is me talking about me.

Why would I not dare to proclaim “Jesus Loves me”.  Because I may think that people think me better than them.  Oh what foolish pride that keeps you from proclaiming the most powerful message in the World “Jesus Loves me”.

Say it over and over and see what strength it gives to your soul. 

It erases pride. 

It erases our foolish meanderings.

It consoles and enlightens us.

It chases away evil thoughts.

It releases us from our ways into His Ways.

O Precious Saviour please keep reminding me to tell myself (you almost wrote broken self didn’t you Margo which puts more of you than Me in this message!) that “Jesus Loves me”. 

DO NOT limit My Profound Message by adding anything else, like “even when I am feeling low”, or, “even when I have been mean”, or, “even when I have spoken cruelly about another.”

Remove all of you from this prayer.  Only say “Jesus Loves me”.  Then the prayer is sincere and to its fullest and can work its fullness in you.

You have a lot of time each day to repeat this to yourself many times.  Make it a mantra.  Let it fall from your lips to your heart.

Let it fall from the voice in your head to your heart.

Allow your mind to reach out and nourish your heart with these Words.

Can you imagine, no you can’t, but if you could imagine the reaction in your body when each body cell hears these affirming Words “Jesus Loves me”.  What rejoicing!  What tears of Joy!

Write this message to yourself and put it various places in your house, in your car, in your purse, in your gloves.

I want you surrounded by this prayer.

When I come to you in Communion say “Jesus Loves me”.

When you look at the sunrise or sunset say “Jesus Loves me”.

When you cuddle a favorite blanket or sweater say “Jesus Loves me.”

When you smell a flower or a particular smell that awakens your sense of smell say “Jesus Loves me.”

When you hear someone take My Name in vain say “Jesus Loves me”.

Let your senses become more aware that “Jesus Loves me” and they will be ready and willing to be part of this beautiful prayer. “Jesus Loves me.”

Tell your warm coat, tell your eye glasses, tell your drink of water “Jesus Loves me.” You may think ‘now this is getting a bit foolish’.

But if you step back, even saying the prayer “Jesus Loves me” could appear very foolish to say indeed.

But are you willing to be foolish for My sake?  Ultimately to follow Me closer and closer it will appear to the World that you are foolish.

So who will you try to please, befriend, serve joyfully, surrender to ---- Me or the World?

You can only have one master and I want you to choose Me.

Isn’t it funny that we so want to serve Me, yet we cling to the World because we feel this is what we know.

Come and walk with Me.  The more you do the more of Me you will know.

What a great invitation and promise, eh?

Like you can lose worldly things like your eyesight, hearing, speech, taste, yet you can never lose any part of Me.  I offer all of Me constantly to sustain the ALL of you.

Am I not worth more than all your senses combined? 

I Love you.  You are Mine.  Go in the supreme peace of this day.  I Love you = “Jesus Loves me.”

PS.  You know why we really find this prayer hard to say, because we don’t know what Love really is.
