the Cross of Fear

(the Cross of fear)

Come forth all those who are fearful. 

Show your faces.  Let Me see you and listen to you as you show Me how fear has left you in bondage.

Slip loose from these bonds.  Let Me lead you from fear to Love.

Do not look upon anything with fear, but look upon it with Love.  Come join Me in My Most Sacred Heart and I will show you how to look on the fearful with Love.

Fear erases Love.  It dominates your being so only franticness abides.  There is no room for Love to get a good foothold.  Because with Love you will be steady and have the courage to face all fears.

Come practice with Me.  Let Me show you how to embrace each fear and bring it to Me.  The very act of embracing is itself freeing.

Because we do not embrace that which we find distasteful.

And for sure we do not like fear.  It is not a healthy companion.

But I tell you, embrace it, bring it to the Cross and thank Me profusely for allowing this cross in your life.

It is nothing when you make up your own crosses.

It is magnificent when you accept the crosses I allow in your life.

We surely can run from them.  But run where?

We can try to bargain, to substitute one cross for the other.  Even that does not work.

So when the cross of fear raises its ugly head, embrace it and bring it to Me, bring it to My Cross.  

Thank Me for allowing you the opportunity to handle your fear and not to run from it.

Thank Me for giving you the strength to embrace this cross.

Thank Me for giving you the Graces in abundance to carry this cross of yours.

But the Graces don’t work if your heart is shut down and trying to run under its own steam and direction.

I do not want you to waste this cross time with Me!

We do not see it as a waste of My Graces when we endeavor to run from the cross of fear but it is.  Surprising eh?

When you are in the flight mode, it is every man for himself.

When you are in the flight mode again it is putting on your defenses.  There is no Love involved but just survival.

Put on the Love mode.

Love the fact that I have seen you through so many fears in the past.

Love the fact that I persistently reach out to you to ease your fears.

Love the fact that despite your fears, I Love you and want you healed.

Not that I will take away your fears but that I will infuse you with  a Love to embrace it  and accept your fears as part of our Love relationship.

If you are not willing to bear a cross, yet I willingly bore My Cross, there is a large chasm between us. 

You do not do this intentionally, but I am telling you that unless you embrace your cross and join it to My Cross, there will always be a distance between us. 

Come, embrace your cross.  Bring it before Me.  Let us rejoice that it is a cross you can carry with My Help.
