Cover yourself in ashes.
Is that something you would do
publicly or in private?
Why would you cover yourself in
ashes?
In this day and age does it show
remorse for our sins? Or is it just
something from ancient times?
So, what do you do for the Lord
to show Him that you are sorry for your sins?
Do you weep and bemoan your
sins?
Do you tell Me that “my sins
aren’t that bad Lord. They aren’t as bad
as some other peoples.”
Does that satisfy your guilt?
How does that help you strip
away your guilt and live in the Freedom of His Love?
I want you to realize that when
you have sinned – ask Me if you are not sure – run to Me and give it All to Me.
I have told you that no amount
of penance on your part can make it All right again.
You must bring your sins to Me
with a humble contrite heart.
Not a heart that is beating you
up for making this mistake again. No,
No.
But a heart that knows there is
only One Solution --- to dunk your sins in the Blood of My Most Sacred Heart.
Bemoaning your sins is you going
into you and your feelings and emotions.
Yes, you have sinned and how
refreshing when you can admit that, NOT with an unhappy heart but a heart that
is humble enough to admit it and bring them to the Lord.
That is not a futile penance.
Yes, you see, you come with a
humble contrite heart that is the sin and penance all rolled into one!
You have sinned. And that you admit.
You are truly sorry for your
sin. As it should be, not to beat
yourself up because there is no healing here.
You rush with your sin to Me ---
joyfully knowing you can safely place your sins with Me and then go on with
your life.
Not in dire penance, but in Joy
making every effort to serve Me willingly and with Love.
A humble contrite heart is such
a blessing because it takes you from beating yourself up to relying totally on
Me to refresh your soul and send you off anew.
Remember, I tell you, any
penance you impose on yourself must come from Me!
So, you cannot make up your own
penance to try to satisfy Me.
So, walking around “in ashes and
sackcloth” with a long face, a self destructive heart, calling yourself names,
running yourself down, is NOT a true penance!
Remember that.
So, when you do sin, yes, admit
it and rush with it to the Lord asking for His Sincere True Forgiveness which
He is ready to give you.
With none of your solutions or
penances as suggestions as to what/how He should treat you, a sinner.
I tell you most solemnly, that I
can see a contrite humble heart a mile away.
And there is nothing I can give it but Love and more Love.
Do not get stuck EVER in you
trying to make up for your sins.
It is impossible and will NEVER
work.
Just so readily bring them to
your dear, dear Friend who cares for you above and beyond yourself and others.
I want you healed and well and
eager to continue to serve Me.
Come and let’s sit and
talk. I Love you so.
I ache to hear from you and your
soul aches to hear from Me.
I welcome you with Open Arms so
do not let ‘the other one’ ever discourage you by his chatter, his loveless
chatter.
I offer Eternal Life with Me in
Heaven, meaning that there is NO sin that is unforgiveable, really.
So instead of spending time in
‘hell’ – ie beating yourself up when you have sinned, listening to ‘the other
guy’ tell you that that is such a bad sin that He just can’t forgive....
COME TO ME FIRST AND QUICKLY.
You will never hear Me say that
your sin is unforgiveable.
I can Forgive all sin, yet you
have to be willing to accept My Forgiveness otherwise you are telling Me that I
do not have the Power and Authority to Forgive such a sin because it is so bad.
Do you not think that was part
of the argument the devil used when he decided to rebel in Heaven???
He was telling Me, God, that I
did not have the Power and Authority.
That he wanted that Power and Authority.
So do not stand with the devil
expressing to Me that your sin is too bad to forgive so you will spend years
trying to make up for it.
FALSE, FALSE, FALSE.
When you start to think like
that, let the image of you walking hand in hand with the devil come to mind.
Does that not upset you if
really you want to walk hand in hand with Me?
Never give him the power to tell
you I do not have the Power to Forgive and Love each of your sins to new life.
Now go forward in this new holy
day knowing Whose Power and Authority you wish to adore in your life for the
rest of your life.
Bring all your sins to Me to be
washed clean in the Blood of Christ.
I Love you. You are My Beloved.
I want you with Me for Eternity
