REVIEW - #311 from Oct. 14, 2014

#311  Tues. Oct. 14/14  10am,  St. Theresa’s, before the Blessed Sacrament.

I have come to speak to My People whom I love so dearly and whom I do not want to be left floundering trying to make decisions without Me.

What is on your mind today that I am most willing to help you with?

Does it pertain to you personally, or family or just a bad world situation?

Have you brought it to Me yet?

Sit still, be calm, now tell Me what is on your mind.

Are you willing to surrender it to Me and then leave it with Me.  Or do you feel that your ideas on it are important too.

I will not get in your way if you wish to do it all on your own.  But mind you then you can’t complain about it not getting done, or finished, or figured out.

Ask Me to take care of it, then when I call you back to it, it will all be figured out.

If you keep it and mull over it, then the separation between us widens.

You do not need Me for this part of your life and thus I am relegated to a minor role.

I am not minor!  I am Major!  The most Major thing in your life.

My Knowing all enables Me to solve ALL.  Had you thought of it that way?

How many times have we struggled to figure out what God wants, yet we don’t bring ourselves to Him and sit with Him and beg Him to instill us with simple Wisdom to see our way clear in such and such a matter.

We sometimes bring Him ourselves and tell Him what we plan to do with ourselves and for ourselves.

We are doing the talking and advising and we are not listening to His Word on our topic.

I am not a Consultant!  I beg to lead you in the path of righteousness.

Sure, you can consult Me, but that does not allow Me the freedom to release ALL My Power over you.

Bring it to Me.  Leave it with Me.  Be still and quiet till I call you forward to act on it whatever the ‘it’ is.

We feel that God does not understand how urgent this ‘it’ is.

So, we place a time limit on God to fix it, and if it isn’t fixed to our satisfaction by then, then for sure we will resort to our plan.

Do you see the oddness of this?

We take ‘it’ from the One who knows ALL and can do ALL and give it to one, ourselves, who are so, so limited in thought, word and deed.

Throw it ALL on My Lap.  Stop right here and go to your knees and tell Me what you wish to throw on My Lap.

Give me the Grace Lord not to take them back.  Please help me to keep tossing them onto Your Lap.

I want you in charge Lord, yet I always come back to worrying about and trying to figure things out on my own.

Please Grace me with the reminder to take it all to You no matter what it is and no matter how many times it pops back into my head.

Now I want you to look at something else.  What could it be you ask?

Hope.

We hope for fine weather, we hope the baseball team we like will win, we hope to win the lottery, we hope for a good medical report.

How far does our hope go?

Is it just another word in the English dictionary?

Does it take us any deeper than the superficial?

I hope Lord that I will serve you well today.

I hope Lord that the refugees will find a home.

I hope Lord that ISIS will be blessed abundantly by Your Mercy and Love.

You can say “Lord I hope my baseball team will win.”  But what does that do for the spirituality of those on the baseball team?

Rather you can say “Lord whether my baseball team wins or loses, I hope you will watch over their souls.”

So you have taken winning out of the equation as the ultimate goal and replaced it with the good of their souls.

I want to take the word Hope and take it to a deeper level within you.

Do not remain on the surface of Creation.

Go deeper into the soul of each person.

See how their soul has to win the battle against good and evil.  And your prayerful hope helps others.

I can say to you Margo, and many others, I hope you understand.  But I don’t mean in your head, but rather in your heart.

Hope has to rise from and yet settle back into our souls.

Our hope is Eternal --- i.e. to lead us to the fullness of Eternity.

Whether your baseball team wins or loses will not upset the boundaries of Eternity.

Yet if each players’ soul is not winning the good fight --- staying faithful to God --- then for sure the boundaries of Eternity may change for them.

Which side of the heaven/hell boundary will they find themselves on?

So instead of hoping for fine weather (from your head perspective) hope for those souls’ today who will be able to enjoy the fine weather.

And do you see that hope is always connected to thanks?

I can hope for the good of their souls this day and thank God for the goodness He has in store for them today.

Or another way.

I can hope that God will pour forth His Graces on these souls and without needing to confirm whether He has done it or not, I can say THANKS.

My hope and thanks do not depend on me measuring what God has done, is doing, will do.

My hope is in the Lord who can do ALL things as He sees fit.

So my thanks to Him comes from a heart trusting that He is True to His Word.

He does not need my approval.

He just asks me to hope ‘in His Word’, with gratitude.

Now go, resting your hope on the One who loves you abundantly.

Put your hope on nothing else because then hope becomes owned by you and you cannot fulfill all your hopes, not even half, not even ¼.
