Face to Face prayer

#219 Tuesday, Dec. 31/13, 9:30am. St. Theresa’s chapel, (No Eucharistic Adoration today yet the Lord is still truly present.)

Dear Margo, thank you for coming aside with Me to contemplate and adore.

How do we become disconnected from our Creator, Saviour, and Helper?  We have begot you, saved your soul, and provide all sorts of guidance, yet you still step aside from us and branch out on your own.

Can you see Our Puzzled Faces?  Pondering how our very own creatures can move so far away from their Creator and Sustainer?

We do not want you leading lives that are puzzling and confusing.

Yet out there on your own you can solve nothing.  What you may think is your brain wave is only Our Presence in your life.  The fact that you do not acknowledge it indicates the separation between the 2 of us.

You may have a great idea and carry it out – yet you realize that it was not your idea but came to you from God Himself and thus you thank Him profusely for leading you to this discovery.  This union is whole.

On the other hand, you can have a great idea, bring it to fulfillment and then pat yourself on the back affording no thanks and praise to your Creator for instilling this idea in you in the first place.  So, here our union is not whole.  There appears to be very little union at all.

When we have a great idea do we understand firstly that God created each brain cell personally and instilled each one in you thus allowing you to make plans, suggest ideas, instruct, etc.

So you did not create your own brain cells.  Can we acknowledge this?  Do we acknowledge this?

Thus ‘your idea’ really is not yours because the very cells that created this idea are not yours but instilled in you by your Creator.

It is really getting down to basics with God and realizing that ALL is His.  ALL could not be possible without Him.

Each thought, prayer, conversation, etc. could not happen unless He had Created it so.

“Be still and know that I am God.”

You see we are not still enough each day to acknowledge that each breath, heart beat, perspiration, each chuckle, swallow, is from God, is of God.

If we aren’t still we cannot take time to acknowledge to Him that ALL of me is His.

I am but a creation of His Love.  I could not and have not created any of me.  So I cannot take credit for anything that comes from me.  It is ALL God’s.

It is a simple prayer that can slip from our lips many times a day --- just “thank you God.”

Don’t limit this simple prayer to good times.  Use it constantly.  When there is a pain start to just say “Thank you God.”

This takes a bit of getting used to because show Me the person who is thankful for pain.  But it is not the pain you are thanking Me for.  It is just Me you are thanking.

In good times and bad times just utter “thank you Lord.”

You are thanking Me for My Constant Presence in your life --- that is what the thanks really means.

It is not a ‘thank you Lord for this good time.”  It is just ‘thank you Lord.”  Otherwise your gratitude is limited to only the good times in your life.

“I am with you always.”

So your short but full prayer is always “thank you Lord.”

You can list off the things you are thankful for if you want to, yet this simple prayer covers them all doesn’t it.

For what if you forget or left some out of the thank you list?  Then you would always be chastising yourself for not getting it perfect or complete.

The complete prayer to have on your lips at ALL times is “thank you Lord.”  He, above all else, knows what you may be applying it to.  And yet He knows it is directed to Him because He has Created ALL and responsible for ALL and Loving ALL.

Your “thank you Lord” prayer covers ALL.

It acknowledges to your heart that ALL is Mine and that your gratitude starts with the One who Created ALL.

You see how personal this prayer is?  You are not breaking down My Creation and thanking Me for each part.

You are thanking the Creator --- period.

You can’t fathom My Creation.

You can’t thank Me for each part because that is beyond your comprehension.  Yet you can just thank the Creator of ALL.  Thank the Creator.

You are making your way through all the stuff I have created and coming directly to the Creator and saying “thank you Lord.”

We are face to face in this prayer!

When you thank Me for the sunset, you are gazing at the sunset, or for the majestic mountains you are gazing at them.

I want you to gaze at Me, into My Face and say “thank you Lord.  Let none of My Creation distract you from our face to face prayer.

Because ALL else will pass away!

So now just sit and adore and thank Me.

Our need to know ALL

We will start now Margo with My Dictation and if it is not done by the time Exposition is over, not to worry.

Sit quietly in My Presence.  Do not try to figure anything out.  Life is a puzzle that can only be clarified by following Me.  You may not ‘see’ clearly, yet if you abandon yourself to Me that is all the vision you need.

It is when we try to figure life out by ourselves that it becomes more of a maze.  We must give it willingly to God and not try to follow around with Him making sure He fills you in on each aspect of it.

A meek and humble heart does not ache to know ALL.  It should ache to know more and more the Maker of ALL.

Our need to know ALL then supersedes our need to know God.  We want to be all knowledgeable, all giving, all kind, all forgiving.  Yet that can’t be achieved on our own and even when we think we have it we don’t, and soon come to disappointment  because we feel hopeless and that we will never ‘get it’.   Do not perturb yourself about ‘getting it’.  Dedicate yourself to ‘giving it’ all to God – your Creator, Saviour and Sustainer. 

You see, in ‘getting it’ it builds up our ego.  But in ‘giving it’ all to the Lord we become very small in all aspects of life.  Our love and our courage and our intentions are no longer the power we want them to be.

We relinquish them all to God who makes of them even greater things because we allow His Hand on it.  It is not our way anymore but His, which may puzzle us but must not stop us from relinquishing ALL.

It is not your love that you give to another but My Love.  Your love is quite limited so it will not suffice to heal and help.  Yet, if you extend My Love, hearts will be healed.

So instead of saying “Lord Jesus, I love that person”, say instead “Lord Jesus thank you for loving that person.”  And say it again and again and again thus showing your heart that it no longer holds or can hold all the love that person’s heart really needs for healing.

Release the Lord of Love over each individual.  Talk about a meek and humble heart.  You must suffer the knowledge that your love alone cannot heal.  Yet My Love can!!

We like to think we can make that person better by our love and attention and this is so false and frustrating.

Meek and Humble of Heart

Dear Margo, thank you for coming aside to hear My Words for the World.

I hope you found your Christmas joyful.  Were you thankful for any special blessing that you had not expected that day?  Please note that sometimes I allow adversity to bring you closer to Me.  Whatever happens to anyone, as I have told you, is covered by My Hand,  My Heart.

So some receive adversity and internalize it or try to run from it with no reference to Me.

You were struggling with your anxiety and knew you had to embrace it, thank Me that I am there for you in it.  You brought it to the Cross and bound it to My Cross.

Other times you would have been trying to run from it, but no longer.  I know it is a suffering and yet I have asked you if you are willing to suffer for Me.

I did not tell you what the suffering would be, and it does not matter what it is, the only thing that matters is have you embraced it and lovingly brought it to Me and thanked Me for allowing you to suffer with Me for the World.

You do not have to tell Me what to put your suffering towards --- this is still more suffering when you will offer it to Me without your instructions of where you want it to go.  It is another letting go of you and allowing Me to do the greatest good with your suffering.

But do you see how sacred suffering is?  My Heart would not be Sacred if I had not suffered.

That does not sound right does it because from the moment of My Birth you would think My Heart was Sacred.  And it was, but it does not, cannot be, without suffering.

Now this insight may be deeper than you wish to hear but it is so necessary to share it with you. 

How can your heart be cleansed and made Sacred if there is no suffering.  So I want you to be grateful to Me for this and any suffering I bring into you life so I can better cleanse your heart and make it sacred.

So each time a big or small suffering appears in your life, let your heart leap for joy because if you accept this suffering and embrace it and bring it to Me for Me to use as I see fit, you may not see the consequences of it but I promise you, your heart is better for it!!

And the interesting thing is, is that you can’t pick something and name it as your suffering.  It cannot originate from you.  Like fasting, which you choose to do, is not suffering. It is something you do to honor Me and I graciously accept it.

On the other hand, when something happens outside of your control, then part of the suffering is first of all --- you didn’t want it!, secondly, it is usually more painful than any pain you would inflict on yourself, and you can either be buried under it or you can offer Me thanks and praise for it.

You do realize that this is a radical change in how one receives suffering.

For many of us it is a downer, a let down, a discouragement, a fearful prospect.

So this is really a new approach to suffering that I have been offering you to accept and live by.  It is not easy, I know that, yet it is a marvelous holy challenge to translate your suffering into My Language of Love.

“Jesus meek and humble of heart, make our hearts like unto Thine.”

But you see your heart cannot be meek and humble until you willingly accept My Will in your life.

We don’t think of meek and humble as part of suffering, yet they are.  We imagine them to be that we act holy, with eyes downcast and a prayerful presence on our face.  But it has to be from the heart. 

Meek and humble are only honed through suffering.  You have to abandon all the plans you have to look meek and humble and try to act meek and humble, and allow Me to create a heart in you that is meek and humble.

And note that My Heart fulfilled this only through My Suffering offered in Love to God My Father.

Your heart does not have to be seen by the world as meek and humble, it must be allowed to be plied by My Love, My Example into a heart that is meek and humble in My Eyes Only.

Remember the world’s ways are not My Ways.

So if you seek to be meek and humble, hand over all of you to Me.  Surrender your whole being, body, soul, mind, emotions, plans, desires, fears, unlove to Me to care for and hone as I see fit not as you wish it to be. 

So, where do your fears and anxiety take you?   There are 2 choices.

You can be disappointed, fretful, fearful and try to rid yourself of them  --- remember you were wondering what non-med you could take to quell the anxiety attacks,

OR

You can accept them not as anxiety attacks but as My Heart offering your heart an opportunity to suffer for My Sake.  You can take them as a means of closer union with Me and be grateful that I allow them in your life so you can grow closer to Me.

When they come upon you, welcome them with Joy and invite them to join you at the foot of the Cross.  Know that I offer this suffering to you for your good and My Glory. 

I know they do not feel good --- I agonized in the Garden, I was anxious in the Garden, I accepted God’s Will for Me in the Garden.  Thus you are able to walk with Me in wonder now whereas before all was in darkness.

Now you have experienced the light. 

Now you know the difference between darkness and light – it is not about being anxious (darkness) and not being anxious (light).  It is all about knowing My Relationship to you through all of your life.

Darkness is only dark if you do not know Me and realize I am with you through it ALL.

Light is not the absence of anxiety, it is so much more.  It is knowing I am present with you at ALL times.

So, do you see what is common about darkness and light?  They are no different IF you realize that I am with you in each circumstance.

We call them darkness and light because one makes us feel bad and the other makes us feel good.

Yet it has nothing to do with feelings, it is all about your heart being in My Heart at ALL times.  So what the human experience experiences can never shatter what is the union between our hearts.

It can only be dark if you do not see Me in it and that is a dark abyss.

And it can only be light if you see My Hand in it  --- the fullness of light.

Go in peace.   Thank you for coming aside to listen and be reinforced by My Words in your life.  I never, never tire of reminding you that I want you to know and fulfill My Will for you.

Each one of you, learn from Me – let Me have your heart so I can make it meek and humble of heart according to My Way, My Truth, My Life.
