THE GOOD -- #1248

Pray to stay strong in your faith.  Be strong first and foremost in your heart/soul.  Do not stray far at all from My Teachings and My Preachings.

Our wandering at times may not seem to be far, or make much of a difference in your life.

But please heed My Words.  Any wandering from Me can prove harmful. 

We always think – well I am a good person.  

But really is that all you want to be – just a good person?

Now, this sounds like a cruel question.

Well God, don’t you want me to be good?

Did I say I did not want you to be good?

I asked if you are satisfied, content to just be a good person?

You can be a good person and not know Me one iota!

I want you to know Me, let Me live in you, let Me fill you with all sorts of Guidance and Love.

That is only if you want to be more than good.  

I want you to be Mine – an active person in My Heavenly Kingdom.

So being good, and knowing and allowing Me to invade your very being are quite far apart.

Did you ever realize that?

Well it is True.

It takes a lot of Graces from Me to let go of the perceived ‘good you’ and allow Me to invade you and make you more than good.

Some of us struggle with this because we believe good looks good on us.

So..... looks good to whom ---- to you?, to others?, to Me?

Whose opinion matters?  

Seek FIRST the Kingdom of God.

How do you do that if you are just satisfied with being good?

If you are satisfied just to be good, guess what ---- your heart is not aching to serve Me with the All of you.

What a great lesson to take into the New Year!

To avoid trying to be good, and rather ache to serve Me.

One comes from you and your will and your efforts.

The other comes from you forgoing your will to serve only My Will.

Do you see the difference?

One we try to be in control, the other we are content to relinquish ALL control.

Ooooh, now there is the GOOD to strive for.  

You will never be unhappy seeking this GOOD.

Our yearly aim -- #1247

Do not be distressed.   You know that I come to remove ALL stress from your life --- but only if you give all that stresses you to Me.

This is a Peaceful time of year.  It should be because we are preparing for the Prince of Peace to more fully enter our soul this year.

Each year that should be our aim.  

To seek the Prince of Peace and invite Him in to take over our precious and sometimes precarious souls.

We ache for Peace yet do not know it when it comes in such simplicity .  

If it were a winning warring army we may be more thrilled, but a babe in a manger --- where is the Peace He brings?

But we are blinded by what we think Peace should be, rather than inviting Peace to live within us.  

Then surely we would know Peace in the midst of chaos.

Do you see what I mean?   

It is not our interpretation of what Peace should be, look like.

It is us asking the Prince of Peace to dwell in us and to Create in us moment by moment the Peace He has in mind for us.

Peace is nothing more than us allowing God to dwell fully and completely in us.

So, when we feel un-peaceful we can rightly surmise that He is not dwelling in us.  He has not been asked to dwell in us.

Check your soul. 

Have you invited the Christ Child to dwell in you?

Have you given the Christ Child permission to dwell completely in you?

Is the manger of your heart ready to receive Him?  

Then tell Him so, and it will be so. 

REVIEW -- It is all about Me -- #73

Come aside and sit with Me.  Open your heart. Release every care that you feel/have right now into My Sacred Heart.  Take a minute and just assess what these cares may be. 

Ask Me to reveal any care that may hinder this message. 

Now to hear My message.  

Do you feel there is something you need to hear today?  Let Me talk to your heart and see how this message affects your insight.  Does it change? Remain the same?  

Remember when I speak Words to you, they are meant to impact you.  They are meant to make a difference in your life.

Don’t look for the change, but tell Me now – right now – that you are willing to let My Words change your life for the better.

My Words are always fresh and new for the heart seeking to do My Will.  There is no repetition just further clarification.  

Could you ever have imagined knowing Me better before you started reading these Words?

Yet if you have read these Words with eagerness of your heart to know Me more, then that gift has come to you because My Love wants you knowing Me more.  

You did not come to read this to make you a better person. You may have thought that at first, but now you realize that that is not the purpose and never has been. 

Thank you for listening to My Heart bringing your heart closer to Mine -- to know Me better, not to better you!

Always keep in mind—it is not about you – it is all about Me and how I Love and how generous I am with My Love and how much I want to share My Love with you.

When you begin to catch on to this, you will change.  You have to change because that is what knowing Me does!

Do not become proud realizing that you are changing for the better.  Just be so humbly grateful that you have responded to these Marvelous Graces of Mine that have been able to change, for the better, your beforehand hardened heart.  

Yes, your heart has been hardened.  Perhaps you did not think this, but now having read My Words, you can see that your heart had been hardened.  

However, now, if you are aching for and receiving these Words with joy and great humility you realize that your heart is un-hardening. 

We categorized ‘others’ as having had hardened hearts, when all along it was us.

Needless to say, you no doubt thought yourself quite un-hardened.  You thought it was others I was referring to and not really to you.  

But you see, I can tell you this now and because your heart has been gladdened by My previous Words, these Words do not insult you.  How refreshing eh?

If I had told you this earlier, you would have defended your heart, telling Me it really was not a hardened heart, and you would have used examples to show Me how good your heart was.  

But now, how marvelous!  You just bow your head in humble gratitude and thank Me for revealing this to you – for now we can talk the Truth to each other without offending the other.

This comment of Mine about your hardened heart does not bristle your ego as it would have in the past.

What a miracle eh?  What a triumphant change in your heart!

I told you, you would not be able to see HUGE changes but that is not what we are looking for is it?

It is only the tiny changes that our heart is prepared to receive – you cannot grasp more than these tiny changes.
