the fetters of anger

#1128   Fri. Apr. 3/20,   7:15am.     At home

I will start by saying I Love you.  Now, I ask you to repeat after Me “Jesus Loves me.”

Remember this is always My Most Important Message to each of  you.

Try  not to forget this Message.  Perhaps though I may not say it in every dictation, it is always the underlying message.

For if you do not ‘get’ this Message, all My other Words must seem foolish indeed.

Treasure this Message.  Bring it forth to your soul when you are happy, content, cross, upset, lonely.

Its soothing balm applies to each and every situation.  It makes a happy earth time even happier.  It relieves the burden of a sad time.  It loosens the fetters of anger.

Oh, you never thought of anger as having fetters.  What do I mean?  Anger ties you down to a state of earthliness.

It keeps you tied to emotions that are human for this world and thus passing.

It, anger, does not let your soul soar to be in the Presence of your Eternal Father.

You may holler and get cross with God when you are angry.  But you do not – I should say – do you, when you are angry, run to God with it and heap all of the anger on Him?

Most of us don’t.  We stomp, growl, bang doors, have an ugly look on our face, grit our teeth.

Do these all sound familiar?  I know they do.

And yet how often when we start to get angry do we pile it all on God.  I don’t mean pile all our anger on Him as screaming at Him, bawling Him out, getting even crosser and crosser with Him.

NO, NO.

That is not what I mean at all.  That really is not handing it over to God, but rather stomping around being cross with Him.

Do you see the difference?

In one case you rush your hurt self, anger, to God and give Him all the anger you have regarding the certain situation.

Whereas in the other, you wish to remain fettered, tied to your anger because you do not willingly want to let it go and even express it in not happy words to God.

In this case, you do not wish to give it up and give it to God to heal and cure.

It means you would rather enjoy being good and angry --- not seeking a solution, but feeling good and righteous with your sad, sad anger.

Because anger saddens a happy soul, doesn’t it.  A soul when happy is in the Presence of God.  Or said another way, your soul, when in the Presence of God, is happy.

So, thus anger, which comes from us, not from God, removes us from his Presence.  We cannot be in His Presence and be angry.  Not possible.

Again, a great measuring stick.  Am I fettered by anger which does not allow me to Be in His Presence and thus be happy?

If we, each of us, when we start to get angry could quickly look around, we would see, not just the situation or person who is making us angry, but most importantly that we are moving away from God and if we continue to stay and mull over our anger we will be far from Him.

Thus, our souls are fettered by anger because the soul will not be fed by anger and thus removed, tied down by anger and thus not able to roam around in His Most Sacred Heart.

So when anger starts to creep in, or leaps in, realize right away that it is going to remove your precious soul from God’s Presence.

Why ever would you do that to your precious soul?

And, so now you know, when laid out in Words like this, the great harm anger can reek on your precious soul.

Do not allow anger to remove your precious soul from its vital, Holy Center.

Have the humility to let anger go so thus freeing your soul to abide in the Presence of its Maker and Sustainer.

Puzzled?

#1127  Thurs. Apr. 2/20,     11:15 pm,      at home

Why do we looked puzzled?   Why do we try to figure out puzzles all by ourselves?   If it is any puzzle, just bring it to Me.

We waste our time trying to figure things out and frustration sets in.

But when you have a puzzle, concern, bring it to Me right away and leave it with Me.

Sometimes we are not even conscious that we are thinking about something that soon arises into something that can be puzzling.

I want all your puzzles.

How will I do this Lord?
How should I answer that Lord?
What if this does/doesn’t happen Lord, what then....

We spend so much time trying to figure things out on our own.

Sure we are going to have problems/puzzles/concerns in our lives, but why do we insist in solving them ourselves.

We don’t have to!  That should be such great news to each of us.

It does not mean that we are avoiding the problem but that our intention is to hand it/them over to God and let Him be in charge.

Let Him lead us through this puzzle which up to this point we have not given to Him.
