Oh let Me quietly slip into your heart this Christmas morning.

I want to be born anew in your heart this Christmas.

Have you welcomed Me?  Have you made a present of your heart to Me today?

Do we ever think of it like that?  We ask Jesus to come and be born again in our hearts, yet put it this way.

Lord, I have prepared my heart for You.  Please come and be born anew, please take up residence in my eager heart.

Little did ‘the stable’ know it would receive a King, yet the purpose of the stable was to provide shelter and welcome --- a place to eat and be free from foul weather.  So even the stable was ready to receive a King!

Do you see that telling the Lord He is welcome to abide in your soul because it was meant to hold a precious Love, is quite different than Jesus having to ask to abide there?

Our souls are meant to house Jesus and only Jesus.  If He is not there, there is nothing else that can sustain it.  It was meant for none other.

Do not go astray and think you should carry this or that in your soul.  Because it was not created to carry anything else but Jesus, Son of God, our Saviour and Redeemer.

And you do not have to tidy it up to welcome Him. 

Tell Him most sincerely that you want Him to abide, to be born anew in your heart (soul) and He will quietly slip right in.

The only preparation is that you need to ask Him to come in.

Fog horn

Let the sun shine.   Now, when this happens it lifts our spirits, doesn’t it.

Yet, ALL is My Creation.  So how does a cloudy day appear to you, appear to your soul?

I would love you to feel great about the Son of Man coming as a baby, yet coming in the Fullness of Glory.

Yet, again, when we see Him suffer and die on the Cross for us, we are sad.

Yet, we know the Redemption story, so why are we sad?

Sounds like a foolish question but how long do we stay sad when we know even on the gloomiest of days the Son has Risen?

Do you see this comparison?

We who believe in the Lord cannot lose Hope in the Lord, and, if we do, what does that say about our relationship?

We have to go beyond feeling low to allowing the Lord to raise us up which He did at the Resurrection.

Endeavor to apply Me to all situations, not the Crucified Me, but the Glorious Me.

If I had not Risen of course you would be hopeless.  But I am Risen so explain to Me how you have separated yourself from Me when you feel sad or down or both?

Do not look to your head for your solution.  Look to your heart, where I should be dwelling and if you do not feel a strong presence of Me, ask Me to open your sad heart and to move in. 

Our lives are a moment by moment encounter with God.

So live with Me moment by moment. 
Do not relive something from the past in your head.
Do not let your head lead you into the future.

Your heart will tell you.  It can only live as it was Created to do --- in the moment.  So, stay in the rhythm of your heart. Live that moment and the next --- not searching out the past or fearing the future.

Listen to the fog horn.  It was not sounding off yesterday was it.  NO, NO.  Because there was no fog.  And it was not anticipating fog so would not sound off.  It will not blow in the future if there is no fog.

So, take concrete examples such as the fog horn that is only ‘living’ in the moment when there is fog.

Such is God.  He is here with me now because He knows I need Him now.

The more we apply God to every now moment of our lives, the more present He will be in our lives.  Makes sense.

Really, it is the only thing that does.

Come gather and listen to the Good News.  Not that Jesus is coming, but that I am here in your midst.  Have you not seen Me or heard from Me?

But you have.  Perhaps you did not know it was Me?

What have you done that is good and right?  Then you have heard from Me. 

We think we should hear voices.  Yet you have responded to what I have asked of you – to Love.

Now, perhaps you have not done it all the time, but then you know it don’t you.

You call yourself a sinner.  And that is good and healthy for you to see when you have not followed My Message.

Now I do not call you to beat yourself up about stepping away from Me. 
BUT, I call you back to Me, to repent, joyfully recognizing that I am here to receive you time and time again.

What a beautiful gift from Me to you each time your pride allows you to admit that I am willing, lovingly willing to Forgive, Forgive, Forgive. 

And I do. 

a good example

Smile, because I, God, Love you.  You know the good feeling you get when someone says they love you. 

Well multiply that love many, many times and you may get an inkling of how much I Love you.

Being Loved should always emit a smile. So, does not smiling indicate we do not feel Loved?

What a marvelous question to ponder!

You see, they will know us by our Love --- not only that we love others, but we can’t do that really if we do not feel Loved.

Had you thought of that before?

So, how many people do you love?
How many do you love absolutely, totally, completely, un-judgementally, unconditionally?

Ahh, now isn’t that a different question altogether?

Am I being honest with myself when I think or say I am a loving person?

You know you have put conditions on this haven’t you.  I mean your love is conditional, otherwise you would be most willing to give the all of you at any time.

But do you say “I am in the middle of my walk, so I can’t chat long.”

Doesn’t it make you cross when I can jump right in with a good example!!  Darn, eh.   Haha.

So do you time your convos according to your plans or according to My Plans?

Try not to time your conversations.  Now that does not call for you to miss an appointment that would be necessary for you and for the one whom you are meeting.

But, wishing to get home to do the dishes, or watch tv while cutting off another conversation is what I am trying to say.

And if your walk is cut short because I have placed someone in your ‘path’ who needs your loving friendship is what I am endeavoring to stress.

When you go for your walk, you have a plan. Right? 

Eeegad, you say.  The Lord jumps in to show me that I am still planning a part of my day.

I tell you, I am a Good and Gracious God and you have asked to be closer to Me, more obedient to Me and I shall most willingly answer your honest prayer by pointing out how you can get, grow closer to Me.

Knowing

How the day gradually unfolds.  Are you anticipating or are you allowing it, the day, to open up before you according to My Will?

Anticipate nothing.  Wait for nothing.  Just live to the fullest every moment so at the end of the day you can be most satisfied as to how your day unfolded. 

I am your Precious God.  I want you to see all around you that what I Create moment by moment you will appreciate to the fullest.

Not that the next moment will be better hopefully, but that you will see God in the next and the next and the next moment.

Now, you do not wish for this.  You simply let the time unfold before you knowing that I, God, am in every moment.

What a releasing exhilarating thought. God is in every moment of my life.  Praise Him for this great gift of Himself to you.

Do not waste a moment not knowing that God is present.  You will spend a fuller day knowing that He is ALL present all the time.

How precious then is each moment.  It is God filled.  You can’t want your day to be any fuller than that.

But, if you are waiting for something, you will miss all the God moments, precious moments in your life. 

You will miss the Eternal God while waiting for the material world to satisfy your cravings.

Then when that craving is satisfied, we frantically look for the next hoping it will satisfy.

But rest assured, only God satisfies. 

In thanksgiving

Have you started your day in thanksgiving? 
Have you continued up to now in thanksgiving?

You see if you do, then there is no place for animosity, anger, bitterness.   All you have to say is thank-you.

I assure you it is not a waste of your time if you truly want to be a follower of Mine.

It clears the way for your head and heart to be in union and to stay clear of all that drags both the head and heart down. 

Remember, as soon as ‘such and such’ creeps in trying to take your head and heart from Me, run into My Most Sacred Heart being most grateful for this Sacred Place that provides safety and comfort for the heart and the head.

It will never be a false adventure. 

It is an adventure of the moment, in the moment and the more you practice this the less time your head and heart will have to spend feeling upset and angry.
