Our overflowing prayer

O Treasured Sacrament.  You hold for all of us our dear salvation.  Thank You, thank You, thank You. 

How gently You speak to us.  How kindly You speak to us.  How generously You speak to us.

How can I thank You?  Yet a simple thank you is enough. 

How does that match Your Sacrifice Lord?

You do not have to match My Sacrifice.  Really you can’t match My Sacrifice, so do not even try.

Do not count how many times you say thank You.  Cause then it is all about you.

What you do with each thank You is done unto Me.  Is should not be countable!  It can’t be countable!

That is not the purpose of your thank You unless it is striving to say more than anyone else.

Then for sure it is not about Me, but all about you.

I ask you to thank Me because it takes the light off of you and in great humility places it where it should be.

You can do nothing.  Yet I can do ALL. 
You can do nothing without My Graces and Guidance. 

So each breath should call forth a thank You from your soul, not begrudgingly, but with great affection for the God who Loves you and seeks ALL GOOD for you.

Thank You should be our overflowing prayer.

It should take little thought.  Not that you say it recklessly but it should trip off your tongue most willingly because you know to whom it belongs rightly.

Your soul should be bursting to utter it because there is so much around us that we need to be thankful for, with great joy.  Even in the midst of sadness thank You still has a firm place in our soul and needs to be uttered. 

Can you imagine how we can strangle our soul when we do not allow it to express itself as we should, as it was Created to be --- to naturally adore and thank its Creator, for every big and itty-bitty thing. 

Sing thanks and praise

Sing a new song – one of peace, one of contentment.  Do not let your hearts be troubled.  Sing all honor and glory to God.  

You see we struggle with our hearts sometimes because we are not allowing them to give Glory and Praise to their Creator. 

This causes the heavy burden to fall on our hearts which are not able to express their joy even in sad times.

If we release our soul to sing to its Creator it will not be heavy burdened but able to express itself fully.

When we, our souls, cannot live to their fullest potential, -- at least try to live to its fullest potential, it becomes weighed down.

It is like…. What can I compare it to?   A river that flows freely bubbling over rocks and into crevasses as it was made to do, or bound up by silt and garbage that stops it from making its joyful noise as it flows along.

Let your soul sing the praises it was Created to sing.   Even in the midst of disaster allow it to praise and thank God for being with one and all even in the middle of disaster. 

Do you see how a disaster is worse when we don’t bring God into it?  We, our body and soul are brought low and struggle to get our breath and make sense of it.

Without God, there is no sense in any disaster.  With Him is a sense of Love prevailing, comfort around, peace even in the midst of turmoil.

Your soul cannot get heavy burdened if you turn to God in a crisis and sing praise and thanks to Him for being with you to lift the burden and to Love you through it.

Come, sing thanks and praise to the Lord in all circumstances.

Your soul was not Created to be mired in the troubles of the World.  It was Created to give honor and glory to its Creator who we are to recognize as Love Profound. 

keep off the grass

Oh My Dear People.  I wish to Charm you --- not a good luck charm, but  charm that attracts you to Me, to follow and be nourished by.

How many times have we said “That person is charming.”

What have we meant by that?

They are nice, considerate, agreeable, enjoyable to be around.

Do I fit that picture in your mind’s eye?

Or is a charmer one that goes along with you, agrees with you, doesn’t set up ‘rules’ that you are to follow?

But, I do not want to be agreeable to your rules.  I want you to learn the fullness of Me and see that My Rules are guidelines to a fuller life.

It is funny how we make rules --- don’t run on the grass;  pick up your clothes,  do the dishes, be home by 12, etc.

And why have you made such rules?

My Rules go much deeper.  They affect and touch the soul.

They are to guide you through the soul life you have all been blessed with.

They affect you now and into eternity.  Like ‘keep off the grass’ will not affect you one way or the other in eternity.  Yet, honor your father and mother will carry over after death.  i.e.  Will stand you in good stead before the Lord.

He will not ask you if you walked on someone’s grass, but rather did you respect them, love them.

And He will not even have to ask the question because each one of us will know when we come face to face with God what we have done that has not enhanced the goodness of our soul. 

Ultimate in Power and Glory

I nudge you and you respond.  I Love that I can call any one of you forth and you will respond to My Beckoning Words.  I do so want you safe and sound in My Presence.

So, when you do not feel safe and sound, you are not in My Presence. 

I know there are certain circumstances that immediately take you to anxiousness.  And that is natural.  But start to and continue to call Me forth into the middle of this melee.

You can stay in you and continue to increase your anxiousness or you can start to and keep saying My Name, Jesus.

Thank Me that you have someone more powerful than the anxious situation to call on.

If you give strength and credit to the situation, then it will tend to worsen.  However, if you resort to My Name, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus you are calling on the Ultimate in Power and Glory.

And the interesting thing is that the fatality of the situation will not look as fatal.
Now, that sounds odd!  Yes indeed.

But what happens when we get anxious?  Well, we fear death.  We do not like the unbalance that has happened that leaves us feeling less healthy, less on an even foothold.

I know your head is asking “What does God mean?”  But, I tell you whenever the environment around us seems to be unbalanced, we get anxious because it seems to be leading from good balance in our life to things going wrong --- and wrong goes against how we feel we should be living --- peaceful, happy and content.

When these seem to be lost it is like a death --- where did they go, will I ever get the good calm feeling again, why me Lord?

We do not ever want the good times, good feelings to leave us, and when they do, we get anxious because we seem to have lost a part of us, a good part of us that we were enjoying and feeling comfortable facing life as.

So hasten back to your center --- no, not you -- to your Center, ME.  That is what has been removed by our anxiety.  So, put Me firmly back at the center, in charge.  “Jesus, You are in charge of me.” “Thank You Jesus for being in charge of me and my life.”

Always run to me

#827  Sun. May 6/18,   9:15am,  St. Theresa’s before the Blessed Sacrament

O God you are so Holy and Mighty.  I thank You for all that You do for me.

Come and dwell within my eager heart.  You have so much to reveal to me that I await your coming each new, holy day.

You hold me fast and guide my every step.

Help me to always run to You when dark clouds appear on the horizon.

They slip in with little fuss and then appear darker and darker.

Release me from me Lord and Grace me with You.  I need you at all times to keep me from going astray.

Do not let me linger in darkness, Lord.  Let it teach me that Your Light has more power than my darkness.

The devil will try to convince you that all is dark, but don’t let that voice come near you and disquiet your precious soul.

Always, Always run to Me.  I want to guide and guard you from all darkness.

I will not let the storms of life control you.  But, they will unless your throw ALL of you into My Precious Arms.

Come, follow Me.  Come settle in My Sacred Heart, so I can settle in yours. 
Always invite yourself into My Sacred Heart.  Do not feel you have to make up a new password for a new, holy day. 

Just come.  I know your precious soul inside and out.  Do you wish Me to have it this new holy day?

The choice is yours.
