BE so, so grateful

Promise Me nothing.  Just be attentive to My Call and endeavor to come when I call. 

Do not make plans to improve this or that about yourself.  Rather ask Me what My Plans are for you this New Year.

And once you have asked, then let Me show you what My Plans are for you this year.

You do not have to hear an answer, but rather leave it open for Me to lead you when I see fit.

Exercise caution over yourself as you may feel the temptation to make yourself a better person.

If these thoughts come to mind, ask Me to reveal to you why you feel this need.

Do you want Me to see you earnestly trying?

Do you want others to see that you are seeking perfection for your soul?

Well if you are seeking perfection for your soul, get out of The Way and let Me work on your precious soul.

Let Me give you glimpses of our union.  It may be a fraction of a moment, yet you will know it in your very being.  It may only overwhelm you for a brief moment, yet you know you have personally met the Divine.

Do not search to re-create this moment.  Just be so grateful that you experienced it.

Do not be cross or upset or wishing it had lasted longer.  Remember there is no time with Me, so when I want to touch your soul it could be in a fraction of a second to you yet fills you with an eternal experience that can only make you grateful, just so, so grateful.

Then we think ‘gee whiz Lord I want that to happen to me more often.’

“Why”, I ask you?  Are you not truly satisfied with that moment in time experience?  How do you conjure it up so it will happen again?  You can’t, and all your wishful wishing for it leaves you more in the state of wanting than in the state of thanking.

Do you see how this breaks our union?   We want more so we will feel good and almost overwhelmed, yet that is not the purpose of My Encounters with you.

I want you to learn more about Me and how I want to Bless you.  Do not, then, want more of My Blessings than I am willing to give you.  Do you see, it is My Will for you, not your will for you.

Where does the ‘wanting the experience’ take you?  Not closer to Me I assure you.

That may sound strange but I want to assure you that when I pour forth Graces over you, all you should want to do is say thanks.

Not, “well, I could have used those Graces yesterday Lord”, or “could you give them to Me each day exactly as You did today?”

No.  I do not want you ordering what Graces you think you need.  I will and do supply the Graces you need, but you do not have to specify at all. 

Cling to the fact that because I Love you I am always pouring forth Graces all over you.

And, let Me take you by surprise with My Graces.

Just as I did today for a fraction of a moment, then it was gone, yet you know how close you felt to Me. 

What a Blessing, eh?

So do not seek My Graces, but allow Me to open your heart to receive ALL the many Graces I have in store for you.

Thank you for sharing this first day of 2015 with Me.  My Graces are sufficient for you.

Enjoy the big and small Graces that come from the Giver of Graces Himself. 

Good night.  Prepare your soul for more of My Beautiful Graces tomorrow.

my will, or God's Will?

I come to My People in the quiet of the early morning. 

I come with Great Good News.  Your God Loves you, cherishes you, aches to behold you, treasures you, seeks you out, invites, is gentle, not demanding, just ALL Loving.

I come to caress My People.  I eagerly want to hold you in My Heart.

I offer you refuge in My Heart.  I want to fulfill your life.

I do not want you to feel abandoned, because I am with you ALWAYS.

If you have a splinter I know about it and care about it.

I do not live in the magnanimity of situations but in all happenings.

You can find Me at the seashore as you watch the waves, or in the middle of a threatening storm.

I am with every cell of your body.

Cast Me over every cell of your body whether it is well or not.

Tell Me you Trust that I am with every cell of your body caring for it.

I want to be your first reference at all times --- whether it looks good to you or bad to you.

If you reference Me, you also reference My Will for you.  You cannot say Lord thank you for being here now at this and every moment, if you don’t accept My Will for you at each and every moment.

Isn’t it great when you can surrender all of you to Me!

We may only see it for brief moments, but that is certainly a moment to build on.

It is giving yourself over to My Will and not looking for it to match yours.  If it does it is a bonus, yet it is more of a bonus when it doesn’t.   Eeeegad eh?

Because if it matches your will/thought you will think it is like a magic potion;  yet if it does not match your will/thought, and yet you keep returning to surrender to My Will, it shows your increasing Trust in Me and not in your will/thought.

It is always about letting go of more of you isn’t it.

So if I surrender myself to God today and all does not go as I would like it to, will I return to Him tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow and continue to surrender?

So many times we get caught in the trap of thinking that if we surrender it will turn out our way!!   Right?   And if it doesn’t, then we think God has not heard our surrender prayer correctly.

Funny eh?  We surrender yet we still have a plan of our own in mind. Crazy but True.

So of course right away we realize as we are reading this that we really have not totally surrendered ourselves to God this day, and the next.

We are still holding back aren’t we.

Are you willing to surrender your day --- that is all your thoughts, words and actions to Me? 

Are you willing to thank Me at the end of the day when nothing turned out as you had hoped it might?

Because we surrender with a plan. ‘If I surrender, God will most likely let it happen as I would like it to happen.’  Right?

And yet we do not realize that what happened that we had hoped might happen was
God’s Will in action, not my wishful thinking.

Yet, I will credit my surrendering with His compliance.

Do you see what I mean?

We still want to own part of God’s Will in our lives.

It is not that His Will is in agreement with ours, but quite the opposite.  God wants our will to come alongside and coincide with His. 

Are we willing to let God’s Will take over and become our will, even when it is not something that we would will for ourselves or others.

Our will is most times our exerting control over the situation so it looks good/right in our eyes.

Am I willing to forgo my control and let it all play out in God’s Good Time?

Ask Me each day “Lord help me to make my will agree with Your Will.”

How many times have we said “well it was not how I would have planned it to turn out.”

How many times? 

So we may accept the situation and how it turned out, but we are not boiling over with enthusiasm and thanks that it wasn’t our will that brought it about.

How many times have we said “It turned out just as I planned.”

And then we sometimes add “thank you Lord.”

Do you see what is happening here?

We are thanking the Lord that our will was done.

Somewhere along the line we have missed that it was God’s Will, not ours that deserves the credit.

Definitely we have our own free will and with it we can mess things up.  Oh yes we can!

Yet out free will can lead us to do good – which ultimately is to do God’s Will – because He wishes good for each one of us.

Our free will is able to choose to do God’s Will and accept God’s Will and be thankful for God’s Will in every circumstance, OR it can lead us to believe that our will and ours alone is in charge of and controlling all that we do.

But when you think you are in control or want to be in control you are not recognizing who has ALL control.

It is like having a false god before you.

You don’t even think of it that way, but rest assured it is and that is how the devil worms his way in to keep you from relinquishing your whole being to the Lord.

So you do not even think of this as a sin, do we?

Wanting to control, wanting your own way takes you away from the ONE who says “I am the Way and the Truth and the Life.”

Choosing to follow My Will for your life by surrendering to Me daily is not an easy task.  It takes lots of your will power to turn away from serving you, to joyfully relinquish to serving Me.

When you get angry, upset, cross, whose will do you feel is not being nourished --- your own of course, otherwise you would not be angry.

Giving up your will may feel like a hard sacrifice, yet it must not be used as a sacrifice!!!

Otherwise, you guessed it, you are still exerting control over this surrender!

That’s why, when you serve Me, you cannot have a long face.

If you are not serving Me with great Joy, you are still serving you who wants someone, anyone to know that you are making a sacrifice.

We want to be credited by someone that we are doing something very good.  Our ego still craves to be stroked!  So, we obviously have not surrendered that part of ourselves to God.

It makes us laugh to read this but it is True and I want to make sure that I explain the finer points to you or else we cannot grow in our union together.

I have given you something to think about.  Ask Me to open your heart daily to more and more understanding of ‘surrender’.

“ O God strengthen my soul.”

“ O God open my soul to surrender.”

I can only strengthen your soul when it is ready to daily surrender to Me.

Ponder that!

#331  Tuesday, Dec. 23/14, 10am, St. Theresa’s, before the Blessed Sacrament

“O God strengthen my soul.”  

Hasten not to say this prayer only once in a while --- but often, often, often.

I want you to understand that all the strength you will ever need will come from your God-fed soul.

Even your body strength.  Do not ask Me to make you strong physically, but rather strong soul-ly.

If your soul is strong, your body will be strong enough, and wise enough to do the task at hand.

You see, we separate our body strength from our soul strength.  We think that our body needs to be stronger so we can carry heavier stuff.

But when this happens, --  you need to carry things that are heavy, -- ask Me, pray to Me “O God strengthen my soul.”

This prayer will enable you to tackle the physical task at hand.

I don’t think we live in that connection.  We still do not unite our body and soul with the body ready and willing to take instructions from the soul.

But I encourage you to start to pray like this.

Ask your soul to give proper guidance to the tasks your body needs to do.

And they do not have to be heavy tasks!  Just any old task will do --- just start.

“O God strengthen my soul” --- so I can go to the basement and get something from the freezer.

Now the prayer certainly doesn’t have to be that prayer or that long, yet you can get the message from this example.

And perhaps, just perhaps, your body is not supposed to do a particular task, and thus the Wisdom stored in a strong soul will come into play and encourage you, strengthen you to approach the task differently.

“O God strengthen my soul”.  What a great prayer that has such a far reaching effect.

Do not separate what I have Created  --- body and soul.   Let them work as one to your good and My Glory.

Go tell it on the mountain over the hills and everywhere that Jesus Christ is borne ANEW in your heart.

What a precious gift, what a treasure, what a moment in time that needs to be celebrated and acclaimed!

Let Me stir your soul to greatness.  Let Me show you the Wonders of My Soul.

Sit with Me --- that is wondrous.

Listen for Me  --- that is wondrous.

Accept My Will for you --- that is wondrous.

We do not think of these as wondrous moments, as insights into My Most Sacred Heart, yet they are.

If you sit with Me, you do not sit in shame.

If you listen to Me, you will be well fed.

If you see Me in others, you will see more of Me.

How much more of Me you will get to know, if you sit, listen, and accept My Will.

Do not let your soul be filled with things to say to Me --- then we are back to ‘you centered’.

Let your soul come to Me free and clear of all your thoughts and plans and let Me move more of Me into all the extra empty spaces in your soul.

I have a lot of furnishings that will only enhance your soul house.

Come, adore. Come.

Your day will be complete just because you have spent time with Me.  Nothing else you do will measure an iota compared to what you do by coming aside and being in My Presence.  Not your greatest plans, or accomplishments, sayings, introspections, words, actions, nothing compares to us being together, coming aside to be with Me. 

I am always ready to come aside with you.  I wait for you to answer My Call and come aside to be with Me.

Come adore Him.

Fit into My Plans

#330   Dec. 22/14, 3:30 pm, St. Theresa’s, before the Blessed Sacrament

Speak gently to My People.  Give them time to caress each Word of Mine. 

My Words are darling pearls to your ears.  I want you to treasure them.

Silence the goings-on in your heart.  Silence the frustrations, the noisiness of yourself, silence the mind that wants to ramble here and there.

Come before Me and adore.  Let ALL else be nothing compared to adoring Me.

Make no lists, make no plans, make no strides to decide your comings and goings.

You are here before Me. Whether there is the Blessed Sacrament exposed or not, your heart has heard My Call and you have responded.  You have stepped aside from the day and all you could be doing and have come to Me.  Have you come Joyfully?  I do hope so.

Yet, even coming to Me reluctantly, I still appreciate.  Yet Joy should fill your heart when you step aside to abide with only Me.

Silence your plans. They are nothing at all in comparison to My Presence.

I am present always, yet it is your effort, your answer to My Call that completes the 2 of us in union.  How grateful I am when you come aside, when you forgo your plans for My Plans.

And yet you do not even stay in that mind set – ‘oh I am hearing His Call to come aside.’ Rather you are thankful for the Graces I have poured over you that allow you, encourage you to answer.

You know you had plans Margo.  Not bad plans at all, yet you had surrendered your day, even more than that, yourself, to Me this day and you heard My Call to come aside and adore.

This response is no feather in your cap you know!  So anyone who reads this will not think you are great and grand to respond.

They should think “Why wouldn’t she?”  Once you hear My Nudging it is hard to ignore and yet you can and you do with no harm befalling you if you choose not to.

That is what I want My People to know  --  that they will not be chastised if they do not respond to My Call.

They may notice very little is different in their lives.

Yet, coming aside when I call will definitely make a difference in your life.  Again, you may not perceive it, however coming aside when I call is filled with Graces that each person needs in their day to day life.

It fine-tunes obedience.  So, when a matter arises you will be more content to choose the good rather than the bad.

You will be more likely to remain calm and not go to anger.

You will be more likely less accusative, less adversarial.

Your heart rate and your breathing slow down in My Presence.  I give your body cells a chance to rest from their work.

Like you don’t have to listen for things.  You may hear things but your mind is not on guard to hear this or that.  It is in a relaxed mode.

You need not worry about what you are wearing, or what you will wear in the next instant.

You do not have to worry about looking good for others.  I am the Only One who has called you here and I call you My Beloved One. 

You need not plan for the future because you are sitting with the One who is The Future.

And as you sit in silence, your tongue does not betray you or speak ill of another.  It gets a chance to rest and learn its true purpose --- to thank and praise and honor Me.

You know if you were out there and living in the world, your tongue would be active.  What a great gift this ‘come away time’ is for your tongue.

The silence proves that you can exist without your words!  Yet you can’t live fully without Me.

Treasure each moment that I Call and you come whether before the Blessed Sacrament or not.

I don’t want anyone to feel that if there is no Blessed Sacrament exposed, then the union is not complete.  That is False.

Thank God that you have a chapel at St. Theresa’s where the Blessed Sacrament is exposed.  Yet come aside with Me in traffic, shopping, doing dishes, at the gym.

Silence your tongue, even your mind’s tongue and just Be with Me.  Let Me lead you.  Take My Mother’s hand and walk with her.  She only leads you closer and closer to Me.

Do not set aside time for Me.  I want you to come aside when I Call you.  Do you see the difference?

Try to live your day in response to My Call to you, not according to your plans for you even if they are prayer plans.  I do not want to fit into your day.  I really want you to fit into My Plans for your day.

I see you smile.  I had you write all of this to come to the final conclusion that I did not want to fit into your day, but want you to fit into My Plans for your day.

What a different focus it gives each of us for our lives.

Ask Me, Beg Me to fill you with the ache to fit into My Plans for your day.

God Bless.  Scatter the darkness.  Live in the Light of My Eternal Love.
