It is quiet and a nice time for us to chat.
What is on your mind?
Gratitude for this day.
Gratitude for the persons in this day.
Gratitude for the laugh I gave you.
Gratitude for the food and the cook.
Gratitude for your friend’s phone call.
Gratitude for a safe trip for T. and family.
Gratitude for the air you breathe.
Gratitude for the pain in your knee which slows you down.
Gratitude for a warm bed.
Gratitude for longer daylight.
Gratitude for your PR friends.
Gratitude for the snow that is melting fast.
Gratitude that My Angels are all about doing service for Me.
Gratitude for your dear family.
Gratitude for cozy sweaters.
Gratitude for huge mountains.
Gratitude for eyesight, hearing, tasting.
Gratitude for warm socks.
Gratitude for comfy sneakers.
I could go on and on. You see I want you to be most grateful for each and every thing – big and small.
Do not confine your gratitude to a select few things. Thank Me for ALL.
Maybe you could designate a day, a week, or a month or whatever, and just thank Me all that day naming the specific thing.
It is easy, and I am grateful when you thank Me for ALL – but when you break it down into individual thank yous, you are making More of Me present to all of you.
And again it will bring a smile to your face noting how busy this will keep you!
So be gracious and grateful for everything – even the pain in your knee, even the socks that are getting worn out, even for the table cloth with a permanent stain on it, even when you have to stop in traffic – be grateful for brakes.
Even when you slip into bed or get up in the morning and put your feet on the floor – just quickly thank Me.
Thank Me for your heavy eye lids that are looking forward to closing so you can sleep.
Thank Me for helping you be very honest.
Do not argue with Me for I know it is easier to tell a small white lie than embarrass yourself by telling the Truth.
So you will avoid being truthful just to please someone – usually you – because you want to look ‘good’ in other’s eyes.
Thank Me for being so ‘in your face’ that I know where you need My extra special Graces.
Thank you for letting Me speak so abandonedly to your heart.
Thank Me for this pen and paper.
Now turn off the light – thank Me for light and dark and light switches.
Sleep well and in My Peace and if you wake early Thank Me for this extra prayer time I have kindly inserted into your life.
