#205 Monday, Nov. 18,
2013, 9:45am. St. Theresa’s, before the Blessed Sacrament
All is Holy! Did you
realize Margo that you saw holy people when you dropped off the chowder? We see them as just people, but your heart
can see them as holy people, ministering to their sick Mother. Even she, in her sickness, brings Holy into
the world – what great compassion I have for those suffering. I gift them with the grace to bring Holy into
the world.
We wonder -- what is the good of suffering? I tell you the world would be sicker without
it. Most of the world would love to get
rid of suffering, yet it has such a blessing on the one who is suffering, on
the loved ones looking on, on the world who may not even know him/her.
We are cheating ourselves if we do not expect to have to
suffer.
We are cheating ourselves if we want to avoid all suffering.
How can I refine you, bring you into a state of Holier Graces
if you will not allow suffering to enter your life?
What is your reference point for feeling good, if you have
never felt bad?
How can you look on Me in the Blessed Sacrament and say you
adore Me when you do not want to adore Me on the Cross.
You cannot always be in the resurrection mode. You do not reach resurrection unless you have
suffered.
That is called walking in My Footsteps.
So be very careful
with our use of words.
Realize that you cannot condemn suffering if you are My
Followers. You need to realize that it
may not make sense to see someone suffer, yet I do not ask you to make sense of
it. I ask you to Believe and Trust.
Suffering would not make sense if we did not have Me as a
reference point.
Did I not suffer? Was
I the only one chosen by God to suffer?
What I encourage you to do is to bring any and all suffering
to My Holy Cross. Bind it to My
Cross. Thank Me that you realize that
suffering without Me seems pointless, suffering with Me makes more sense.
That is why I have asked you to see each new day as Holy. Then the suffering of that day is also Holy
for My Hand and Heart are on it.
Your suffering is NEVER in vain. It may be intense, yet I am there with you.
How much fuller your praise is when you praise Me in times
of suffering. Who wants to say thanks in
the midst of suffering? Not too many of
us. We beg that the suffering will pass
and we will feel well again.
And that is normal and natural so don’t feel you are weak to
make such a request. But if you can eeek
out just a moment of praise and thanks in the midst of your suffering what a
journey you are on.
We often thank God when the suffering passes, however we are
more hesitant to thank Him in the midst of it.
I do not condemn you for this and I accept your grateful
thanks.
But I want to whisper in your ear that there is much
rejoicing in heaven when you, in the middle of your suffering, can offer Me
praise and thanks.
It acknowledges to your heart/soul that I am worthy of
praise in ALL circumstances. I am God of
ALL circumstances. I do not need your
praise and thanks, however you need to praise and thank to strengthen you in
our relationship. In ALL things give Me
Glory.
Perhaps we do not see the blessing and grace in
suffering. Yet it is there!
We think suffering more as a punishment and good health as a
blessing.
Now step it up.
Suffering is a blessing.
Do you think My Suffering and Death was all for not?
You would not be reading these Words if I had not suffered
for you.
I suffered willingly to bring you into the presence of the
Father. So even your suffering brings
you into the presence of the Father.
Do we thank Him for it?
Do we condemn Him for it? Do we
see the grace it heaps on us?
Now I know ‘who wants to suffer?’
I do not tell you to self-inflict this suffering because
then you are in control and not God.
I ask you to accept suffering that comes out of the blue,
not self-inflicted, as having His Hand, His Blessing, His Graces on it.
Do not look for suffering – again it is you controlling it.
Rather be prepared to suffer joyfully when it comes.
I know it is hard to be joyful when suffering. I don’t mean happy-go-lucky joyful. But a deep joy in your heart/soul that you
realize this has been permitted by God and has His Hand and Graces on it.
Some say it is hard to pray when suffering. And that is true. If it was easy then the suffering would be
easy too. Let your prayer, when suffering,
be one of joyful recognition of My Will in your life.
“Jesus, I know you are with me. Thank you for being with me.”
We may not be able to say the rosary when we are
suffering. Sometimes our strength is so
limited that we can’t even concentrate.
That is understandable. But ask
your Guardian Angel to do it on your behalf.
If the suffering person has not the energy or stamina or
ability to pray, then all of us can reach out to the Lord on their behalf,
whether they are friend or stranger and thank God for being with them at this
time, praise Him for His Goodness and Grace, praise Him for allowing you to
offer prayers and sacrifice on the other person’s behalf.
Do not let suffering disconnect us from prayers of
praise. When we hear of disasters we
tremble, hope it will never happen to us, pray for those involved.
But I ask you to acknowledge My Magnificent Love in the
midst of disaster. I want you to love
all in the disaster. Not only pray for
their well-being, but love them, extend your heart of love to them.
We think that if it is not material aid, what good will it do
them?
I challenge you to realize that if I have asked you to throw
your love and My Love over them that it will do even greater good.
So ask Me to help you accept suffering as a grace and a
blessing, so that your heart will be the healthier for it!
Suffering and health don’t seem to go together do they? But suffering, properly perceived and
accepted, brings a wealth of health to your soul.
Go in peace knowing this Treasure.
I love you. Tell
your heart “Jesus loves me.” Tell each
fibre of your being “Jesus loves me.”
