Sitting here with Me.

How does that satisfy your soul?

It should be so satisfied to sit with Me, just sit with Me.

Not counting the prayers that should be said, not concerned about your next meal, not wondering how long I expect you to sit with Me.

Are we, in our relationship, on some kind of clock?

Like, this much time for You, Lord and, now that is done for the day, and so I have the rest of the day to myself.

Are you sure you want our relationship to run on your schedule or My Schedule?

I often wonder because I will hear your comments to yourself  --- like I have done that and that already.  

Funny how we feel/think that to do certain prayer things covers those for the rest of the day.

Step back and when you truly think about it, it is very laughable!   

Right??

Do we feel there are obligations we have promised to God that that is what He really wants from us  ---  obligations fulfilled?

Or do we say prayers because we hear our heart calling us to pray.  

Not planned prayer, but just to pray.

 #870  Tues. Aug. 14/18,  9:40 am.,  St. Theresa’s before the Blessed Sacrament

 

O Come God into my life and into the lives of ALL others.

 Isn’t it great how you can command God to do things!

 We may never have thought of it like that before, but yes we can. 

 With a most sincere heart we can invite Him into our hearts and the hearts of all others.

 You see, in this prayer you are holding NOTHING back. 

 You show your faith and trust in Me and your love for all others whom you know, just like you, need God in their lives.

 This prayer does not limit Me to just good and righteous souls --- NO, NO, NO.

 It opens up your heart to say to Me “Lord my love wants all people near and far, high, low, good, bad to be nourished by Your Goodness.”

You know you cannot open these hearts to receive My Blessings, but you have willingly opened your heart so that My Blessings can flow forth from you to others.

 Do you see the 2 of us working together here?  

 Definitely we are!!
