Sifting Exercise

#724   Thurs. Sept. 14/17, 4 pm, St. Theresa’s before the Blessed Sacrament

Come, O Come Emmanuel.  If I come, will you let Me capture your heart and fill it full of My Good Stuff?  OR will you shy away and say you are not worthy?

So is that why you don’t often say to Me “O Come, O Come Emmanuel” because you don’t want Me in charge of the ALL of you?

So, how do you invite Me into your life?  Maybe you ask Me to bless something here, something there?

Do you save Me for special occasions, though isn’t every breath a special occasion? 

You had not thought of it like that before had you?

Maybe that is why you do not repeat and repeat “O Come, O Come Emmanuel”  because you don’t want Me around and in charge all the time. 

What disturbs you about My Presence?  Do I intimidate, do I scold, do I demand?  Really I only come to Love and Love abundantly.

I don’t ask you to change your ways.  I do ask that you will invite Me in to help open your heart to receive My Love Force.  But do you have an inkling, a suspicion that once My Love invades your heart you will change?  And don’t you want to change for the better?

It is a mystery why we seem to want to stay clear of Jesus.

Don’t give Him too much in roads into your life.

Sift through what He is offering and then only take that which seems to satisfy you.

Ok, then, I will let you start with that sifting exercise.  I will just continue to offer you bits and pieces more of Me.  I will wait patiently till you invite the ALL of Me in, all at once. 

I want to be in your heart, so any little slice of your heart that you will, will suffice – for the time being. 

Can you see yourself and the energy you have to expend to keep ALL of Me out?  But you know you can’t. 

Because I Created you.  You are Mine to Love with great abundance.

The Rightest Time

#723  Mon. Sept. 10/17,  4:30 a.m., at home

I nudge you at any time to listen to My Voice.

I whisper your name and you answer.  It is not a time you would have chosen, but I chose it for you, so it is the rightest time ever.

The time I choose is always the right time.  How can it be otherwise?

Now the lesson for this day --- be aware.

Walk with Me throughout this day and every day.  Do not avoid Me but welcome every obvious encounter with Me.  I will send you people in your life out of the blue.  See Me in them.  See My Hand on you.

I may bring you good news or not so good news.

Either way, how will you accept it?  Isn’t that the real challenge.  How will you accept it?

Will it always be in prayerful recognition of Me, or will some lead you away to a fearful, upset, angry you?

Will you thank Me for all even though it doesn’t appear nice?

Not thank Me for the circumstance, but for Me being here with you through it all.

Thanking Me for revealing Myself to you in another way --- whatever that other way is.

Ask Me today, every day for the Grace to see Me in ALL.

Thank You in all situations

Tell Me what you are grateful for.  Please be general or very specific.  How much of your life are you grateful for?

Now there is a good question.  Are you grateful for 5 things, 10 things, 20 things?  Big or small things?  Things that are good rather than things that seem bad?

Sometimes, in the case of a flood, how can I be grateful Lord?

Let Me answer that for you.  You can be extremely grateful that I am here with you and that I hear all you beseeching prayers and concerns. Even if the situation gets worse, continue to thank Me for being here with you.

It is a thanks that goes beyond measure.  Like do you thank Me a lot when all goes well, but not so much when things go from bad to worse?

Our thanks does not hinge on whether God fixes the circumstance or not.  Our thanks reaches beyond the material world to commune with the Lord on a spiritual level.

Our gratitude to the Lord does not have any boundaries.  It is constant, in all times and all situations. 

We are expressing to Him how grateful we are that He is HERE with us. 

That’s it.  That’s all.  It is not so much thank you for getting me out of this mess; but more so thank You for being with me in this mess. 

Do you see the difference.  I most certainly hope you do.

affirm that we BELIEVE

#721 Thursday, sept. 7/17,  3:35 pm,  St. Theresa’s, before the Blessed Sacrment

O God, O Holy One, O Mighty One.  Come to us each day.  Be with us in sickness and health.

Is it not funny that we ask God to be with us, yet I have told you that I am with you always. 

Let us be free to ask that we have the Grace from Him to realize He is with us always. 

Why do we feel we have lost Him or He doesn’t realize our struggle, or that He is indifferent and needs reminding.

Let us affirm that we BELIEVE He is with us always and thus this gives us the courage to face each day.

Let our prayer be “O God, O mighty One, O Holy One, THANK YOU for being here with Me this day.  Your very presence strengthens me and allows me to journey through this day knowing You are at my side, leading me forward in all circumstances. 

You note, I never lead you backward.  There is no retreating when you let Me lead you.

It is impossible to retreat into the past and live there. 

He calls us to BE with Him in this moment.  The past cannot be relived and fixed to make it look like it never happened. 

It can be recalled and given to God to care for as He sees fit --  not according to our ideas or our presumptions. 

Let us proclaim to our hearts and to the Lord that He is in charge of it ALL. 

Yes they do

#720  Thurs.  sept. 7/17,  5:30 a.m.,  at home

The dawn is breaking.  All is still quiet.  We hasten not to awake!  We would rather sleep.

But I call to all My People.  It does not matter where or when.  And they answer.

Yes they do.  They may not answer ‘yes Lord’, but they do answer My Call.

Again there is no sin here.  It is just a time for them to seize the moment and Be with Me.

They look  forward to what they shall do, whom they shall meet.  But does that include Me this day?

What more important thing does one have to do this day than to meet Me in every moment of the day?

I beg you to seek the Graces that keep Me present in each moment of your day.  I can provide these.

Do not look for solace or counsel from any other person.  Come to the Person and consult with Me.
