BE with Me

#568 Sunday, July 31/16,  9:05am, St. Theresa’s, before Blessed Sacrament

 (BE with Me)

O My Holy People!   I rejoice in your presence.  I welcome you to come and BE with Me.

What sacred moments these are when the 2 of us can just BE together.

Certainly I am with you always.  But these special times when you step away from the outside world bring you in closer contact with Me.

Our daily routine often draws us away, not in distraction, but simply in distance --- your heart with Mine.  Mind you there is no sin here, just not as close a connection as when you intentionally and with free-will step aside and say “I want to be with you Lord.”

Your intention is to put aside the other things you could be doing and freely choose to do the most vital thing you can do for your soul.

Come aside and BE with Me.  Sure you can bring your concerns, but the more you just Be with Me, the less likely you feel you have to share your concerns with Me.

Our closeness by just BEING together covers your need to bring things in your life to My Attention.  The more you just BE with Me the more you will understand that we do not have to exchange words or thoughts.  We just have to BE in each other’s presence.

It is like putting down the tv remote and going and doing the dishes.

You leave one thing to address another thing that is more in need of your attention.

What gratitude fills your heart when you realize I have given you time to BE with Me.

If you were home certainly you would be doing something or other, but just think you are here now and not having to do a thing.

You are exercising your soul.  You are keeping it in shape by spending it with Me.

How else can your soul get in shape?  You saw in the Bible the number of times it mentioned how I ‘went away’ to pray.  Is this not a good example for you to follow too?

Thank Me profusely for the opportunity I present to each one of you to come aside and spend it quietly BEING with Me.

It is not only a great exercise for your soul, but also a great relief for your soul which sometime, many time, gets left behind, shoved aside, or ignored in the busyness of human life. 

Come aside.  Come aside right now and just BE with Me.  Choose to come aside.  I will give you the Graces to make this a most worthwhile choice.

Tell Me, “Jesus, I want to come aside and BE with you right now.”

It does not matter, if, in the next minute, or even 5 seconds something interrupts this one on one time.

I will know and cherish your good intention and profusely enrich your dear precious soul.

When you do step aside to “BE” with Me, bring another’s precious soul too, ok.

More of My Light

Do not let the darkness of the night, darken your soul.

It is a natural thing for darkness to appear in the night sky.

It is not right or healthy for darkness to enter ones soul. 

Your soul needs to live in the Light of Christ to sustain its life and bring goodness into the World.

So be aware of anything that may darken your soul and beseech Me to fix it and to let in My Light.

More than Me getting rid of the darkness in your soul, ask Me to fill your soul more and more with My Light.

closer to your heart

Come aside and learn of My Love for you.

Be still.  This is a good time of the day to still yourself or just ponder My Love for you.

Do not try to figure it out, but rather ponder it in your precious heart.

And repeating “Jesus Loves me” like a mantra, brings the idea of it closer and closer to the center of your heart.

Perhaps pondering is like Trusting.

Let His Will be done.  Do we not think this was a great leap of faith and trust.

Our Blessed Mother never spent time trying to figure out her role but rather trusted that God the Father knew what He was doing.

Let Your Will be done.  And Don’t you think that the Will of God is to Love each one of us unconditionally?

Allow Jesus to Love you.  Give Him permission to Love you.  Invite Him into your heart so He can Love you more and more and so you will carry on your life allowing Him to be more and more Loving and Guiding in it.

BE changed

Come quietly into My Presence.  Or you can come joyfully into My Presence.  Or you can come timidly into My Presence.  It does not matter.  What matters is that you Come.

I bid you often and more than often to come into My Presence – at a bus stop, in a supermarket, even in church where we can sometimes get distracted.

I bid you, I beg you to leap with both feet, with the All of you into My Most Sacred Heart.  Announce yourself if you wish “Hello Jesus, this is Joseph.”

Not that I don’t know you by name already, but I want you to have that close a relationship that you call Me by name and I can call you by name.

You can sit quietly with Me barely breathing, or you may wish to have a great conversation with Me --- whatever is needed by you at the time I will generously accommodate. You may even be darn mad with Me.  Well, guess what Joseph, it does not matter.  I Love you and will take all you give Me --- the good, bad and ugly and wrap it in My Inexhaustible Love.

I do not ever tire of hearing from you.  Even when you call My Name, not in prayer, I catch it from you and surround it with My Love.

Call on Me.  Ask Me.  Tell Me.  Question Me.  I am here for you for all your life.  Do not think I deny you because you may deny Me. I have enough Love to even encompass all the grime and grit you may wish to pour on Me.

Your grime and grit do not upset Me.  I accept them because they come from you --- from a heart that dearly needs My Love, yet does not know how to find it.

Come aside with your pail of junk and let’s sort through it.  Nothing will shock Me or upset Me, or turn Me away from Loving you.  Your sins do not have that power over My Love.

If they did, then I could not be an Almighty, All Powerful God to you or to anyone.  Do not presume you have more power than I do.  That is very FALSE and only a trick of the evil one who wants you to think you can control the emotions of God.

You can’t control My Heart, My Most Sacred Loving Heart.  You can enter and stomp around if that is the mood you are in.  Yet all I will do is listen and touch every stomp with My Gracious Love. 

You see you won’t be able to stomp around long in My Heart.  My Love will soften each stomp so that it will sound like you are tippy toeing around in My Most Sacred Heart.

What a gift to you this day Joseph!  Even your stomping around will be changed, not by you, but by and through My Most Generous Love.

Come aside if you wish.  Stomp around and see how I will change your precious soul from stomping to Loving --- yourself, your God, your family, your neighbor.

Are you ready to be changed?

Are you eager to be changed?

Do you even acknowledge that you really need a change?

Come aside and BE changed by My Love.
