Step out in the sunshine of the Lord. Do not shutter the windows of your soul trying in vain to keep out evil.
It does not work that way. Let Me in, give Me permission to enter and strengthen your soul.
While we cloister our soul thinking we are doing great things for it, we must realize that that is our plan and not God’s.
Please open your soul --- call on Me to open your soul to My Words, My Wisdom and My Great Love.
When we try to keep evil at bay, we so often forget to allow Christ in to inspire us more, strengthen us more.
Do not let yourself stagger into this closing up of your soul.
Because even if and when you do this, you will start to try to discern if this or that is good for you to take in.
You may even be throwing judgment on God’s Words, Love and Forgiveness!!!
For example: how many of you have said –“oh God could never forgive me.”
Have you not shuttered up your soul?
Have you not thrown judgment over our Lord’s Precious Words from the Cross?
So be very aware that in trying to avoid evil you do not also shutter God out of your soul.
We perhaps have never thought of, or seen it in that light before.
So now you know,
Rather than trying in vain by yourself to keep evil out, invite Me, more and more of Me in.
I will stand in the breach and keep evil at bay.
When you trust more in Me to keep you safe from sin, you are the better for it.
