'what ifs'

Do not get all twisted up in ‘what ifs’.  They will only drag you away from Me --- in prayer time, in time trusting in Me, in the spirit of My Presence.

While you muddle over the ‘what ifs’, you are quite far from Me and thus our relationship gets weaker and weaker.

How many times do we spend more time in our head than in our heart?

Will you, trying to delve into the mystery of ‘what ifs’, ever, ever be able to solve any problem, or change the future or change the past?

 So, why do we spend time there?   Do we think it is a safe, easy place in which to dwell?

Why would you since the question ‘what if’ can never be answered??

So, I tell you avoid all occasions of ‘what if’.   Ask Me to help you solve any ‘what if’ problems and I will do so if I see it is to the best for you.

Otherwise, just spend more time with Me, and the ‘what ifs’ will gradually dissolve to “I trust”.

Let Me quiet your soul.  Let Me prepare you for more of My Words.

There are no plans that you have that will get in the way of My Words.

Settle back and listen.

I so Love you.  Does that not free a chained soul and set it free to live in love and peace?

What more does anyone want to hear other than that they are Loved and by their Creator, Saviour, and Educator.

Let Me reach into the depth of your being and reassure you of My Love.

How do I show it?   I bring peace to your soul even in the midst of fear, discomfort.

I bring peace where you  did not expect to find it because you may have put fear there ahead of putting Me there.

Have you ever gone some place and found it wasn’t as bad as you thought it would be?

Have you thanked Me for getting there before you and bringing peace, My Peace, into the surroundings?

Have you ever thought to send Me ahead to straighten the crooked path, widen the road, remove the obstacles?

Perhaps you can start to do that  --- Lord go before me.

What a great prayer, what a great habit, what a solution.

Because the Lord, when He goes before you, does not put or leave fear in the place --- He fills the place and space with His Love.

Lord go before me.  And I will know that you trust that I will bring you into a place of peace and security.
