Live it always

Rain down Your Graces, Lord.   Rain down your graces, Margo.

Ah, yes.  You have Graces that I have given you so do not horde them up.

Let these Graces work in you and through you to others.

Now, do not go around in your head trying to figure out which Graces and how you should do it.

First of all, I have Graced you with faith --- live it always.  You will know it is at work through you to others if you live it.
Avoid gossip, meanness, snide remarks, enjoy loving and speaking the joy of the Gospel which you know to be “Jesus Loves me.”

We flounder sometimes trying to do what is right and proper.  So first of all surrender your day, each new holy day to Me.

Once you do that you will be better able to allow the Graces I have given you to work in you and through you.

I want you free from planning how you will do this and how you will do that.

Rather I want you full of living the Graces I have bestowed on you.

You can’t do this when you are living in and trying to manage your life.  You either do that and remain never quite satisfied.  Or you surrender to Me and know that whatever you do fulfills God’s plan for the World.

Ahh. Whose plan do you want to see succeed in this World?

Well, tell Me --- is it My Plan for the World or your plan for the world?

Remember, it is never too late, or said too much… “What do you want me to do next Lord?”

What great service to the Lord!  We do ache to do His Will right?, so make use of that question often during your day in Joyful obedience to fulfill His Will for the World.

And very importantly, most importantly, do not get upset when I jump in to change it all up on you because you do still cling to some of your plans, don’t you!

Now go in Peace asking “what do you want me to do next Lord?”  or the shorter version “What next Lord?”

I will answer either/or of these questions put to Me by a soul that aches to serve Me.

Jesus wants to lead you.

Stop what you are doing.  Now ask God about what He wants you to do.  And listen for His response. 

It is there.  It is all there.  Yet if we keep going back to what we were thinking of, we will not be prepared to hear His Answer.

Do you see how things are not the same when you do not consult with Me first?

But we are afraid unless He doesn’t get it right, unless He does not let you do your will for this day.

Yes, you have free will.  The gift of free will to choose to do My Will.

Now, if you do not choose to do My Will, it is not necessarily a sin.  Yet you will not have the Strength and Guidance of the Creator behind it all.

Yes, He is with you, yet if you do not give Him permission to lead you, you have lost out on a whole army of Strength and Guidance. 

Do not overlook the fact that Jesus wants to lead you!

Give Him permission this day to lead you wherever He knows is best for you, for His Plan for you this day.

Plan nothing.  Really when a thought of a plan comes to mind do not dwell on it. 

Tell the Lord you are most willing to do His Will today and if it includes your plan, ok,  but if it doesn’t, you are still most ok with that. 

Christmas Gifts of Insight

Quiet My People.  Take Me with  you to inspect your soul.  There is to be no beating yourself up over this or that.  You will only beat yourself up if you have not taken Me with you to look at your soul.

So, what a great lesson!  When you are getting cross at yourself for being angry, unloving, chastising, commenting, then you know you are not inspecting your soul hand in hand with Me.

Our inspection tours are not a battle zone – the ‘good you’ against the ‘not so good you’. 
They are a loving tour of what you might call the battlefield of your soul.

When you go there with Me, the battle stops.  We get to look at the ruin we have caused our precious soul to endure, but more importantly what caused it and how together we can fix it.

Do you  see that when there is a battle in your soul you have not retreated to go get Me and bring Me onto the scene. 

We think we can ‘think, say, do’ certain harmful things without harming our souls.

So, before you step into the quagmire of sin, bring Me into your thoughts and feelings and ask Me to point out what is really, really upsetting you.  Rarely is it what you think it is!

And really it is always and only about Love – the lack of Love for another or even for yourself.

Do not hesitate, when you feel your ire rising, to get Me into your soul quickly to offset what may result in a sin. 

Ask Me to help you to avoid even the temptation to sin.

However, if you walk further with the temptation, you know there will be damage to your soul.  BUT not irreparable damage. 

Bring Me into the aftermath so I can point out to you gently what you need more of to sustain a healthy soul.  Really, it is more of Me --- more of My Love and Forgiveness.

Lord, please fill me with the Grace of Loving Forgiveness, first for myself, then for others.

Ask for that a lot!   Because so many of us need this a lot!

You will see, on closer inspection, with Me, that it is unconditional Love that is sorely lacking.

You see I keep pouring Gifts of Insight over you.  Not gifts of beating yourself up for making the same mistake again, but Gifts of Insight.

If we can see what brings on the sin, through My Eyes, then we will sin less.

So do not leave your soul to survive only on your insight but only on My Insight which encourages, repairs with no conditions attached.
