An ah-ha faith moment

#264  Wed. May 7/14, 3:50pm, St. Theresa’s before the Blessed Sacrament

I come to be with you today. Really, I am here waiting for you to come to be with Me today.

Thank you for coming.  Thank you for heeding My nudging.  I love to be with My People hearing their prayers and concerns, being with them in their joy and sorrow.

Do you really believe it is Me in this host before you?  If you find this hard to grasp, and many may, do not hesitate to ask Me to inspire and enlighten you to the fact that it is really and truly Me.

You do not need to see the face of Jesus as you presume it to be.  You are asked to see Me, the Real Presence.

Do not look to be informed by your human eyes.  Look  to be inspired by My True Words to you.

Look at Me with your soul.  Detect the Real Me in your soul.  Let this scatter the darkness of doubt.

Ask Me to instill in you the faith that you will believe, that you can believe it is really Me present in the Sacred Host.

I  want to enlighten you.  I am here to enlighten you.  I want you closer and closer to Me.  So just ask for the faith to believe.  You will not have to try to explain this to anyone.

You see faith doesn’t have an explanation.  It just is faith, faith in Me and in My Words to you.

So if someone asks you to explain it to them do not go searching for words.  Your gentle response is “I believe.”

If they still are eager to grasp it, ask them if they are willing to say to Me “Lord enlighten me. Give me faith that I may believe.”

How often do we ask for faith?  We either presume we have it or we don’t have it.

So, go ahead, ask for faith --- for those of you who feel you have it I will give it in greater abundance.  Do not be satisfied to say “I have faith” without craving for more.  We think if we have faith that we have the fullness of faith. Not so.

If you have faith you will be driven to ask for more faith.

If you feel you have no faith, what is stopping you from asking for it?

Perhaps you don’t want it.

Perhaps you feel comfortable without it. 

Perhaps if you say you don’t have faith it is because you may be afraid to say “I believe in God.”

Interesting eh?

Those of us with faith can say “I believe in God” and still feel stranded as to what this really means.

Those of us who seem to be without faith are struggling to make sense of life.  Really!  Because if you do not believe in Me what do you believe in?  Because ‘it’ has all been created by Me, so it can be very unsettling to believe in something that has been created and yet not believe in the Creator of the something.

Look at a tree.  What do you see?  The rough bark, the branches, the leaves, the height and size.  Do you believe it is a tree or do you just think perhaps it is a tree.

What makes a tree a tree?  Because there are all kinds of trees that we call trees yet they do not all look alike.

Remember how the people wanted to see ‘signs’ even after they had seen Jesus’ miracles.

They definitely were asking to see with their souls --- even though they may not have even realized that.

Because once you had seen Jesus’ miracles what more did you need?

Ah-ha

Just because we see with our eyes does not give us faith!  We need to ask God to take us beyond the visual into the infinite.  We will then see Jesus with the eye of our soul.

He will not have long hair and a long robe and marks on His Hands and Feet. That still satisfies only our human senses.

I want you to bestir your soul senses.  I don’t want you to be able to explain perfectly what it is you see with your soul. 

It is almost like an ah-ha moment when it is all clear even though we do not physically see it.

When we come to chapel, intentionally bring your soul.  Say “Come on to the chapel with me soul and enjoy your Maker.”

Now this sounds silly, but how many of us come to chapel physically, say the prayers we have known for a long time or short time and do not ask our soul to participate?

We usually are praying from our heads and not from our souls.  Ask your soul to lead you in prayer.  Let go of your ideas of prayer and let your soul pray on your behalf.

Your soul may say nothing but rather be content, most content, to be in the presence of its Creator.

What faith --- to be content knowing, believing you are in the presence of your Creator.

Soul Visits

#263  Sat. May 3/14, 3:30pm, St. Theresa’s, before the Blessed Sacrament.

I have called you back again.

Put nothing aside but rather take Me up.  Raise Me on high for your soul to thank and praise.

Adore Me the Lord not just in this chapel but throughout the World.

Settle your soul in each church in the World!  Visit Me there.  I know you cannot be there physically but certainly spiritually you can. 

Name a country and tell Me that you would like your soul to dwell in each church in this country.

Sound far fetched, yet nothing is impossible with Me.

Be content in each Church I take your soul.

Come visit My People with Me.  You wonder how you shall do this, but I tell you I can take your soul wherever you give Me permission to take it.

Do not try to figure this out, but only say “Lord, I relinquish my soul to You.”

Don’t worry about explaining it to anyone.  Just relinquish your soul to Me so you can be with Me and My People.

Do you trust Me?  Do you trust My Word?

Don’t look to ‘experience’ anything because then it shows Me that you are looking for proof that this is real and possible.

But when you say “I relinquish my soul to you Lord” that is all I need to take your soul with Me to the various churches and shrines throughout the World.

You see, many of us want to visit shrines and churches physically.  I beg you to allow your soul to visit on your behalf.

If you are looking for a feeling or a sensation or something to show to your self that you are experiencing this, then you have not relinquished your soul to Me.

Your soul does not ‘sense’ as your human senses do.

Look for nothing but acknowledge that when you relinquish your soul to Me it is in safe hands and will be nourished far better than we could if we try to exert perfection over our own soul. 

See Me!

#262  Saturday, May 3/14  Weekend of Grace, Lord Nelson Hotel, before the Blessed Sacrament.   

Rejoice I say Rejoice.

How Blessed are those who are called to be here with Me this day.  I have called and you have answered.

Your humble obedience sets the stage for your day.  There are many times we are not as obedient as we should be, yet your willingness to come aside with Me this day brings mighty blessings.

I am not sure if you are looking for blessings or what blessings you are looking for. 

My Blessings for you are not always your blessings for you.

You may count this or that as a blessing, and still miss the blessings I poured over you today.

I do not chide you or upbraid you, yet I so wish you to see that each moment is a blessing from Me.

Like this morning you rejoiced in the sparkle of the melting dew on the grass.  And definitely it was a soul-awakening moment. But where does your soul go when it is not being bestirred to rejoice?

That’s a tricky question --- not a trick question, but a tricky question.

Where doe you soul abide when it is not in moments of ecstasy?

And I don’t mean deep ecstasy, but merely in moments when it is awakened to My Presence in your life.

Is your soul ‘high’ all the time knowing it is in My Presence?

Does your soul get dragged down by the human circumstances of life?

These are interesting questions to ponder as you sit in comfort in My Most Sacred Heart.

Yet when your soul is in My Sacred Heart can it be anything but ‘high’?

You are smiling because you delight that I want to challenge you in our relationship

--- not with the word but with Divine Words, Divine Wisdom, Divine Judgment.

Do you see how these questions do not disturb or perturb you?

What a great event when My Words, My Questions don’t upset you but reveal to you how generous I want to be in helping you grow closer to Me. 

My Questions are not a challenge but an invitation to come to Me and find more of the Divine Person Jesus.

Notice that what appeals to your senses you want to celebrate.   Like the sparkling melting dew on each blade of grass this morning.  You saw God in His Creation busy changing frost to drops of water which will eventually evaporate.

Yet do we see God at work in the mud on the sidewalk?  Do we rejoice that we have seen God in this muddy mess? 

You look at the Blessed Sacrament in this beautiful Monstrance and it gives you joy to see this beautiful setting.

But what if there were no flowers, no sparkling monstrance, barely a clean cloth on the table would you feel as good?

Yet I am there in My Fullness both times, all times.

Does it make you more comfortable (feeling) to be in a well decored place to adore Me?  If your senses are not satisfied with your surroundings, will your soul be satisfied?

Can you see beyond the trappings and just adore Me?

I want you to ‘see’ My Beauty.

Most certainly all that adorns the area – vase, flowers, candles – come from My Hand.  These are the ‘beauties’ I have created.

Yet they are not My Beauty.

I am quite separate from My Created Things.

Strip all else away and see the person of Jesus with nothing else tugging at your emotions, feelings, sight.

See Me!

You can see Me in the poor, in each person, yet I want you to be able to see Me!

Don’t let the earthly person – either rich or poor blind you to the person of Me.

You say “I see you in the poor, Jesus.”

Do you see Me in the rich too?

Ache to not see the other person and acknowledge that I am there. 

Ache to see Me – discard all the trappings, either of rich or of poor and see Me.

I ache, I am eager to refine your soul so that you see the difference.

Like when you came into this small adoration room this morning were your eyes caught by Me first or did they ‘see’ the décor of the room first.

I want your soul.  I want your soul to be immersed in Me.

Please ache for this blessing.

When you go to pray, Margo, and all of you who read these Words of Mine, set yourself up first and foremost in My Sacred Heart and pray from there.

You see so often we pray to My Sacred Heart, but now I invite you to say all your prayers from within My Most Sacred Heart.

So bring your soul and another’s soul (always endeavor to bring someone with you, friend, family, stranger, etc.) and pray from within My Most Sacred Heart.

So you no longer pray to Me but from within Me.

Can you see the increased power of every prayer you utter?

#261   Friday, May 2/14, 10:45, St Theresa’s before the Blessed Sacrament

Let Caleb bring you to deep and deeper Trust in Me.  Place his dear precious soul into My Most Sacred Heart.

Look at the divineness of it.  Look how it sparkles with My Love.  Look how patiently it undergoes this suffering.

Stay with this picture.  See Me ministering to him;  see his Joy in knowing that I am Caring for him.  He loves being in My Presence.

Hush the fear in your heart and look at the peace in his heart.  He knows Me and Loves Me and is content because My Hand is on him.

See his soul’s joy in knowing that I am Caring for him.

His dear soul leans on Me for support.

He tells Me how concerned he is for his family.  He loves them so dearly.  Yet he is willing to suffer to save souls.

He did not choose this path, yet he is obedient to this path chosen for him by Me. 

Are you as strong?  Are you as brave to step into a future I have in store for you --- not one of your planning but one that I plan for you?

Let Caleb be your example.  At his tender age he has had to surrender to My Will in his  life.

He is a child and thus reacts with the innocence of a child --- trusting when he doesn’t even know what will happen.

See how easily we can Trust when we know the outcome or figure we know the outcome!  But that really is not a show of Trust is it?

Caleb’s illness is drawing so many to more and deeper prayer.  What a blessing this is for his soul and the souls of others.  Are any of us willing to give ourselves up to illness to save even one soul?

He does it in all innocence.  He does not do it for glory or praises. He may not even realize how his sickness is touching other’s souls.

Even though we may see his dear small body suffering, do we realize the blessings that will pour forth from his sufferings?

Come bring your soul and his dear soul into My Sacred Heart and see how I Work.

See the Love Balm I pour over and around him.  It is like an angelic light – a Light of Love – that I infuse in his dear soul to give him comfort even when those looking-on do not see it as comfort.  His soul knows and takes comfort.

So even when you see his body in discomfort, know, TRUST, Believe that I am comforting his soul.

It would be futile suffering if I did not have My Gentle Hand all over it.

So you see, you did not think that Caleb’s suffering could save souls.  But YES IT CAN if you believe I am caring for him at every moment.

Look at how his soul rejoices when you bring him into My Sacred Heart.  Oh that we would all do this  --  come aside with your soul and his/her soul and see how refreshed  this soul will be.

Rest assured in these Words of Mine.

I do not lie, I only proclaim the Truth.  Truth Profound and far, far beyond what you could ever imagine.

But I now have told you, so you can rest in the Truth of My Divine Words.

Thank Caleb for being able to suffer to save souls.  Rejoice in this Eternal Good Work he is doing for souls.

Thank You God for Your Mercy to me.

#260  April 27/14, 2:50 pm, St Theresa’s, before Blessed Sacrament, Divine Mercy Sunday.   

Bring Me the souls of all those here in chapel with you now.  Let Me touch each with My Tender Graces of Love and Compassion.

Let their hearts swell within that they know they are in My Holy Presence, My Loving Presence, My Merciful Presence.

Not an eye should be dry if we realized the awesome audience in which we now sit. With all the angels and saints.  Can you imagine the Glory that would surround you?  You could not paint such a beautiful complete picture.

You would know these saints, you would recognize your Guardian Angel, you would be delirious with Joy. 

What a blessing to sit in My Presence even in this small chapel and realize that you are in the Real Presence of Jesus Christ.  Never doubt!

Crowd around My Sacred Presence.  There is room for ALL. 

No one will be closer to Me than another. 

No one will have a better vantage point than another.

You will think you have the best vantage point of all.

That is how I have made you.  Each of you will be able to be In My Presence as if you are the only one I ever Created.  You will grow to understand and rejoice that I have blest each and every person in the same way.  I do not Love one more than another.  I love each one of you equally.

Rejoice I say, Rejoice.

There is nothing that should make you feel less loved by Me.  Any such whisperings do NOT come from Me.

So you cannot say you are unworthy.  I should say, that you can say that if you wish, but it is not the Fullness of Truth.  Now I am not calling you a liar but I just want you to know that you are not speaking and living in the Truth if you feel and speak that way.

Does it feed your ego to say those things to yourself or others?

We don’t think of negative comments we make about ourselves as part of our ego trip, but they are.

You have less ego if and when you dare to say “I  am worthy of God’s Love.”

At that point you have stopped analyzing your bad points that might make you unworthy and have taken on a more humble self.  Surprise eh?

We think we are humble when we say we are unworthy.

NOT SO!!!

It takes a very humble heart to admit that I, Jesus, loves you, no matte what.  Because up to this point we have loved others depending on their worthiness!!  Right??  Correct?

Worthiness in your eyes.

So how could there be anyone who loves unconditionally.  Impossible you say.  Yes it is, except for God.

And that is what takes such great humility.  To be willing to acclaim God’s unconditional Love for you.

Up to this time, we, no doubt, have been making excuses for why we are not loveable and feeling very sorry for ourselves --- which is not part of humility.

Dare to embrace the Love of Jesus which is Humility Divine.

Rejoice that He Loves you unconditionally. Don’t ask How but say yes that you are willing to Trust in this Truth-filled fact.

What Mercy I want to pour over you today!  Not only the Mercy that your heart is Loved unconditionally, but the gift of humility so that you will be able to tell your heart with ALL Joy that “Jesus Loves me!!”

You say “Be merciful to me a sinner.”

Now I ask you to take it up a notch and say:

“Thank you God for your Mercy to me”  and add nothing more, not even “though I am a sinner”.  God knows that already!  But what He wants you to start praying is your thanks and praise for His Mercy.

You see, with the first prayer we ask for Mercy.

With the second prayer, it shows that our Trust in God has increased because we Thank Him for His Mercy to us.

We acknowledge that He is Mercy and is handing out Mercy left, right and center and wants us to let go of our unworthy vision of ourselves so we are able to see that His Mercy is plentiful to us each and every day.

Our humility will enable us to get out of the Way of His Way, His Truth, His Life.

Rest in His Mercy this day.

Rest in His Mercy tomorrow.

Rest --- be assured of His Mercy always.

Thank you, each of you for coming aside today to celebrate My Divine Mercy.

The 2 new saints bless you also, in My Presence, with My Gratitude.

God IS Here

#259   Thursday, April 24/14, 3:30pm, St. Theresa’s before the Blessed Sacrament.

Welcome to the quiet and solitude of the chapel.  The freezing rain beats as I would have it do.  Yet it too comes to Me in obedience to its purpose, its nature, its creation. 

Each person here and every person outside this chapel is called to this moment in time in their life and I am with each one.  Their life is more complete because I am with them.

Rest in My Charm.  I call you aside.  I want you to know More of Me.  There is so much to know.  Rest in My Love.  The charm I have is that I have the answer to all of your joys and sorrows.  That is My Attraction.  I do not do magic.  I do for you what I know you need.  I love you and answer all your concerns.

A lucky charm promises that all will be well and to your liking.

My Charm promises that I am with you always, and maybe not always in situations to your liking, but I am still there.

I do not abandon you in tough times. Rather I stand with you and for you in tough times.  I want you to realize that My Charm is not to keep you from using your free will but to be there with you to see you through all your life choices.

I do not bring luck.  I bring many blessings and graces.

I do not want you feeling lucky.  I want you feeling My Presence so whether the situation is joyful or awkward I want you to know that you can rely on Me to see you through it.

Of course I will not interfere unless you call on Me.  So if you feel stranded, run to Me and ask Me to help.

I respect your free will and will not jump in unless you ask.  That is how much I love you.

But you say, please jump in when I am doing something stupid or bad.  Ah-ha.  I bet you that I have jumped in many, many times with more healthy solutions but you were not willing with your free will to accept them. 

Again this is NOT a blame game but a most sincere explanation of the fact that I am with you Always, yet I can’t change things unless you allow Me to.

Pray daily to stop you from doing foolish things.  Tell Me you are willing (free will) to hear Me out when facing certain situations.

Do not give in to hopelessness.  Like “what could God do in this situation?”

Tell Me you give Me permission “to do” in this situation and that you will step back and let Me “do”. 

Hush your own plans and rely on My Plans for you.

Again, this takes great humility, great swallowing of our pride.

I want you free, free to act In Love, Through Love and With Love --  and that is Me.

You cannot love a situation into the Truth of what I Love for you.

You can only abandon you to Me and let Me Love the situation into Truth.

This seems complicated doesn’t it?  But it is not.

When you seek to serve Me it is Love and Truth that you are seeking and will find.  Is it the Truth as you see it?  In many cases no, because you do not want to see suffering, sadness, etc.  And if you only look at these with your limited vision, it will seem wrong, a tragedy, a loss.  And so it is, if you only look at it through your eyes.

Back up, jump into My Heart and look at it through My Eyes.  I have asked you to do this before, yet I know how quickly we forget, so I will lovingly keep reminding you.

Note how we will say “that some good will come out of this.”  Correct?

However, I beg you not to look to the future, but to stay in the present and say “All is well because God is here.”

We accept some situations because we put their fruition out there in the future, meanwhile feeling down and devastated in the here and now.

I challenge you, I beg you to admit to your hurting heart that “I AM with you NOW.”

Acknowledge Me present to you now in the midst of the situation, not looking for a future fix, but rather My Consolation for you now. 

We don’t want to live in the sad present situation, so we will plunge into the unknown future surmising that all will be well.

I tell you most solemnly that “ALL IS WELL.”

I AM here.

I AM present here.

This is the only time in your life that you are living, so don’t jump into the future where there is no life.

Jump into the presence of My Most Sacred Heart.

That is what is always available.

That is what will sustain you.

That is what makes ALL things WELL, presently WELL.

Draw on My Intense Love for you.

Do not try to see a happier future. Come live healthy with Me in the present.  Even in a horrific situation.  Come to Me.  Let Me be present, past and future to you NOW.

Do not daydream that all will be well.  Come to Me and see that ALL IS WELL.

I want you to cry your grieving tears within My Most Sacred Heart. How do you do this?  Just bring your sad hurting soul and any other hurting souls intentionally into My Sacred Heart.  Now cry your grieving tears from this vantage point.  Otherwise your tears cried in the un-presence of My Sacred Heart will lead to despair and hopelessness.

The Fire of My Love in My Sacred Heart will quench your grieving tears  --  turn them into deep pearls of insight about My Love for you at this sad time.  I do not say you should not be sad, I do say that if you are going to be sad do it from the safety of My Most Sacred Heart.

By being here you invite Me to share in your sorrow.  You get to understand that I have mourned and wept too.  You will see the clarity of your grieving tears and how together we will journey through this.

These Words of Mine may read very simply as you write, and for those who read this.  They may seem like a simple solution in a sad time.

And yet they are the only solution.  Your heart will break apart if you are not able to share your sad tears with the Maker of Tears.

I ask you to practice daily running into My Sacred Heart, for any or all solutions.  Thus, when big tragedy strikes you will have developed this healthy attitude of finding comfort and solace in My Most Sacred Heart.

Do not wait for sad times to strike because you may be so overwhelmed by them that you don’t know where to go.  But now you do.

So put your sneakers on & daily, maybe even several times a day, run into My Sacred Heart with your tender soul and the tender soul(s) of others.

It can be your starting line, your complete race with your finish line all rolled into one.

Endeavor to live your full day from within My Most Sacred Heart.

Now isn’t that a great challenge, an interesting challenge, a free-will challenge. 

So, remind yourself that as you go about your day.  Seeing and being in this World, you are doing it all from the vantage point of being in and seeing from My Most Sacred Heart.

Visualize this.  How will you react to situations if first you see them from within My Sacred Heart.

Usually we see them, hear them, are part of them then run into My Sacred Heart.  But how about spending your whole day in My Sacred Heart as you go about your day.

It is stepping it up another notch isn’t it.

You are smiling at this new and intriguing challenge, invitation.

I hope it interests you.

Pulling on your pride together

#258   Easter Monday, April 21/14, 9:45 am, St. Theresa’s chapel before the Blessed Sacrament  

I rejoice in My People.  Let nothing they do, in disregard to Me, ever turn you away from loving them. 

We want to judge those who we think are not as faithful to the Lord.

Not so.   Lest your judgment brings you to a far more serious sin than what you think they have committed.

You see, I want you to commit ‘you’ to Me.  I do not ask you to commit ‘another’ to Me.

You most definitely can bring your soul and their soul into My Sacred Heart, however you are not to make their commitment to Me.

It is hard enough as you know for you to stay committed to Me.  Right?  In all things, in all ways.

You  may have more fervor at one moment than at another moment. 

So do not think you are perfect and have been called to make a commitment for another.

Sure, you are to draw all people to Me, but the commitment to come to Me has to come from the individual. 

You see, we think our thoughts, words and actions will surely convince their hearts. But no.  What did I say? They will know us by our Love.  They will come to know Me through your unconditional love. 

And that is hard at times because we think our words of direction, of reprimand will convince them to follow Me.

Your fervor for their souls sometimes overflows into what may appear as conditional love.  So, sometimes what we can’t put into words (these words may convey unconditional  love – we most surely can take our words and place them in the Sacred Heart of Jesus, so He can burn off the ‘me’ in them and leave behind just the Unconditional Love.

Realize, please realize that your concern for their souls has to be brought to Me.  DO NOT TRY to fix it through what you feel will work.

You have seen it, you have done it and then been told by Me to apologize because your words do not hold any weight when said with anger as the base.  And do not try to tell Me that you are not angry.  Remember I see your heart.  

So you think your words are instructive, yet you know they come from your heart which is upset with the situation and thinks by your words you can make it better.

Do you see how I want you to connect to Me?   And how often you, who think you are not doing too badly with connecting with Me, still want to dance off on your own to make the situation, in your eyes, better.

What foolishness eh?  Because you no sooner let it slip from your lips and you know it was not right.

Talk about hurting the bent reed.

How can we speak to a tender soul using our words and think that we do not hurt this tender soul? 

I tell you, I continue to tell all of you, that any and every concern you have you bring to Me for healing.  I will not hurt a tender soul.

Do not strive to fix the situation with your own words.  Bring your concerns to Me and tell Me the ache in your heart and then generously leave it with Me.

You see you want Me to be generous, yet you can be generous too.  You can continue to give more of you to Me.   You have so much of you to give Me and anxiously receive and embrace each new bit of you that generously turn over to Me.

You just revealed to Me, Margo, that your heart feels very down because you used your words to try to fix a situation rather than racing with your concerns into My Sacred Heart.

Now, I caution you that if you are most sorry for this misjudgment, tha I have not condemned your heart to feeling down.  That is the devil trying to instruct you that you did something wrong and should feel despair in your heart.

NO, NO, NO.  He is so false in his whisperings.

You expressed your sorrow by apologizing to the person most sincerely as I nudged you to do.

But now the devil will play on your pride.  Yes hard to believe eh?  He wants you to feel sorry for yourself that you did this and how others may now think about you.

Remember all of you reading these Words of Mine, that they apply to you also.  I do not want you to think because I am showing these insights to Margo that they do not also apply to you.  So just substitute her for you!

The devil will want your heart to wallow in its own unworthiness.  Do you see how this keeps you from praising, adoring and thanking Me? 

He will make you feel very bad about your choices and then feel sorry for yourself – your tender soul. 

But not to the betterment of your soul, but to the fact that you will abandon your tender hurt soul instead of taking it quickly into My Sacred Heart and re-nourishing it. 

He never invites you to take refuge in his heart.  He wants you to feel as abandoned and lonely as he does.

So, right this minute, take your heart and soul, each one of you, and bring it joyfully into My Most Sacred Heart.  Bring it knowing it is the only safe place of refuge and refueling.

Remember it is pride that keeps you feeling down.  I know many  of you would not have thought of it as pride, but I assure you it is.  You feel down because you want to protect the ‘you’ image you have designed for the world to see.

You do not want to lose face; you want to be loved by all.

Come to Me all you who are heavy burdened.

Do you see your burden?  Do you see that pride can be a most heavy burden?  That is why I ask you to give ALL of you to Me.  That will extinguish your pride if you give all of you to Me.

So what a great adventure --- to hasten, or go slowly in most cases, to give your pride over to Me.

What great insight and clarity this will allow to enter and take rest in your soul.

The more we entertain our pride, the less clarity of body, mind and soul we will have.

See your pride is a huge rock that you tie a rope securely around and endeavor to drag your pride into My Sacred Heart.

It will not be pulled easily.  It is something you may have to work hard to move.   Sound silly?

But you can see the scene can’t you.  You tugging away and your pride getting caught in holes, on other rocks, in the mud, etc.

Interesting eh?  It goes to give you a visual of how hard it is to move!

Some days you may not have the strength to move it.  Some days it may seem like an impossible task, so we let go of the rope and give up.  Some days it seems as easy as pie. 

Have you asked Me to help you with this boulder?

Or do you want to show Me how sorry you are for being proud by endeavoring to drag it to Me on your own.

Is there a bit of pride here?   Of course it is and you smile that I have revealed what you thought of as penance is really pride.

Your true penance will be to seek Me out and ask most sincerely for My Help and be most willing to let Me help you.

Suffocate your pride in the Fire of My Eternal Love.

And don’t think that I am not willing time and time again, as you discover more bits of pride to ask Me to help you.

This brings us closer together  each time. Me helping you drag the pride into the Fire of My Love and you walking right along with Me --- both of our hands less chaffed because we are helping each other.

You did not realize that by coming to Me and asking Me to help you with your pride that you are helping Me.  You are allowing more of Me to be present to you by your willingness to come to Me for help.

I can’t help if your heart does not want My Help.

So get busy and tie a secure rope around your pride, then hasten to Me and ask Me to help you drag your pride into the healing power of My Most Sacred Heart.

A caution:  I will only progress as fast as you want  to.  i.e. if you take your hands off the rope, so you can make use of your pride I will patiently wait for you to seek Me again and I will rejoin you in pulling on your pride.
