My Sound Advice

Come softly into my soul dear Lord.  Let nothing distance me from wanting the ALL of You with the All of me. 

Do not chastise yourself Margo before you have bid Me good day with much gratitude for this new holy day and the safety of the night you slept through. 

Do not become distracted from serving Me by retreating into the self-centered you.

Perhaps, you just need to ask Me more to help you in various situations.  I know you think you do, but this shows Me that you don’t.

Again, no sin here, but more to the point no depending on My Sound Advice.  So if I advise you and you don’t take My Advice, then it leads to you beating yourself up.

But why?  Why not rather tell Me that you need not only the Grace of My Advice, but also the Grace to respond positively to My Advice.

So, when you do not respond to My Advice, do not get cross with yourself, thus cutting off good prayer time with Me.  But rather thank Me that I am full of the Grace of Advice, and then ask for the Grace to act on that Advice. 

My Graces are so individual. I have more Graces to offer than you can imagine and that is why I am speaking with you today.

My Graces cover finite parts of your life.  Small, small parts of your life that you need Graces for.

Like the Grace NOT to sigh when you are frustrated.

Now, that sounds like a foolish Grace but it is not.
The sighing shows that you have lost hope, are frustrated, disappointed.

If you want to sigh, let Me hear a positive sigh.

Like, “O God, how I long to serve You.”  That is a Love sigh.  Not said with disappointment that I am not serving You as well as I want to, but rather a sigh indicating that I want to serve You more and more. 

Do you see the difference?

So, when you sigh from a negative perspective, right away, smile and tell Me that that sigh wishes to express your desire to serve Me more and more,

You can sigh “Oh it is another rainy day” in disappointment yet with the Grace of the Moment you can turn it into “Lord thank you for Creating rain.  May I see Your Hand in every rain drop.”

We miss so many moments of ‘seeing’ the Lord because we are ‘sighing’ over what we perceive as disappointment.

Find Me, Find God and stick to Him in all sorts of instances, both big and small.

I AM in each.  I AM there for you.  Make good use of Me in every moment of your life.

Do not only find Me in Church, or in your specified prayer time.  Let Me reveal Myself to you in every moment of your day so you will gradually see that I AM with you always.

Thank You Lord, Thank You Lord,  Thank You Lord. 

Called to Care

I have called you to listen and to care.  Care for those around you, even if they do not appear before you.  Just tell Me you will care for those I bring to you, for those whom you do not even know.

I want your heart more ready to care, than to criticize.  Care for those you hear from and for those you never hear from with equal care and love.

Do not give because it has been given to you by another.  It is not about paying back.  It is about Loving as I do. 

Do you ache for this?  I ask you to ache to care for all people – good and bad – servants to Me or not. 

Care because I have asked you to care. 

What a great gift from Me to just Care with no boundaries, no specific commitments, but just to care. 

O How I want to call you to Care.

Put aside all your plans.  Now devote the time you are spending on planning your day, just being with Me.

You can sit still planning nothing.  You can pray with special intentions.  But be more with Me as you start your day.

Don’t throw Me a few moments.  Offer Me yourself.  There is a difference between praying to Me and  being with Me.

One you are doing the doing that you feel will please Me.  Now, how about just being with Me.  It is hard to start because we are all so used to praying.

But, ask Me to come gently into your soul and direct your thoughts from there.

It is really further fine tuning.  You have told Me you ache to BE closer, then this is the Way.

It is not through your prayers to Me and I do accept them all, but it is you Being with Me. Do you see the difference?

Imagine you sending Me prayers through the mail.  Then I imagine you just Being with Me.  One brings you close to Me on a more intimate scale.

Do not hesitate to pray because that is what you are used to, yet in those prayers ask Me to show you how just to Be with Me.

It is just another way to deepen our relationship.

I have told you to let Me draw you closer because you are not able to do it the Way it needs to be done.

You may feel that praying a lot and a lot more will do it.  Yet I encourage you to pray asking Me to bring you closer. 

You are still praying aren’t you.  Yet this is such a humble prayer.  You are surrendering your ability to move mountains and asking Me to move the mountains in your life.

It comes down to trusting that I can do it when in many cases it appears impossible for you to do it.

So Trust and Humility go hand in hand.  You can see that can’t you.

Because, in trusting in Me, you are really saying “I can’t do it Lord --- humility --- but I Trust that You can.

So be ever so grateful for humility in your life.  Not that you want to feel humiliated.  NO, NO.

That is not a true sacrifice!!  But, humility is a gracious gift from God that He gifts to you to use for the betterment of your soul. 

And it comes down to acknowledging More of Me and less of you running the World.
