Arise o my soul. Greet this new holy day with Joy. Cast all else aside, but your God. Start with Him as your Center.
Can you imagine if all the World, or even half the World put on God as front and center every day giving Him permission to rule your day, lead your day, guide you through the day.
So what are your plans for today? Whoever you are, wherever you are?
Well, let Me ask you to put them neatly aside. I say neatly because I do not want you to put then aside in anger or frustration that you had forgotten and already set up your plans for this day.
You see they are not even your plans for your day because this day is not yours but Mine. I have called it into being.
Now, as for setting aside your plans, just do it now. Some of you may have particular appointments --- well they are not your plans are they.
I mean your plans to do the bit of housework, yard work, read a good book, etc.
And ask Me to be with you on your appointments, whether it is a court date, a blind date, a planned meeting. Thus they do not become your appointments but meetings first with Me to guide you then with the others involved.
Do you see how even planned meetings that have already been set, take on a new meaning and purpose when you have Me in charge?
As for the rest of this day, throw open your soul to My Graces that may take you hither, to and yon.
Don’t hesitate to give all of your time – really it is My Time I am giving to you, to spend it in My Presence.
That does not mean necessarily in front of the Blessed Sacrament but with Me in front of you tenderly leading you through this day.
Thus you will constantly be in My Presence.
What a gift I give you today to realize that I am with you always, meaning you are in My Presence always. What a new and different slant on My Prayer “I am with you always”. Thus you are in My Presence always!
Thank Me for this Gift, Grace of My Presence always.
