Let Me speak to you of many things, and I could. Many things that are beyond even your imagination.
Yet, I really only want to speak to you of one thing – My Love for you.
You see, all else is worthless to know if you do not know first and foremost of My Love for you.
I pity the one who feels they know all and yet do not know of and rejoice in My Love.
Yes, I want you to know My Love for you and, further to that, rejoice in this Love I have for you.
You can know about My Love but if you do not accept it then there is no rejoicing.
To rejoice is to give thanks. And vice versa, to thank Me for Loving you sets your heart in a rejoicing mode.
When you have a cold, thank Me for My Love for you.
When your car breaks down, thank Me for My Love for you.
You can see that in thanking Me it sets your heart aright to follow through with your day in a positive frame of mind and being.
So, as I have said before, practice thanking Me for My Love for you --- just in casual moments of your day, or in busier moments of your day.
“Thank You for Loving me, Lord.”
You will notice when you are angry you are not in a thanking mood. And thus your heart is not healthy and neither are the decisions you make.
Anger does not give birth to thanks. It takes you down a very different path.
So, the simple prayer “Thank You Lord for Loving me” quiets the heart, lets the body relax in the folds of My Love, changes the situation from one of anger to one of love and when you love you want to forgive.
Then you can take the prayer even further.
“Thank You Lord for Loving him or her.”
Again it reduces the angst of the situation and allows all the right Graces to enter in to you and inhabit and refresh the parts of you that may be in turmoil.
Refresh your whole being with “Thank You Lord for Loving me. Thank You Lord for Loving him/her.”
It not only refreshes your very being but it changes the atmosphere of the situation around you.
Why if, as they say – the second angry word starts the argument, can it not be said that a peaceful word/thought can stop the argument.
Instead of replying with an angry word, rather run to and say, in your head “thank You Lord for Loving me, thank You for Loving her/him.”
When you bring My Love into the situation it diffuses all. Now if you try to do it without asking for My Love participation it may not work as well at all.
Your love is not the solution. My Love is the solution.
It is as simple as that, yet complex for some because we want to be able to express our upset, so the person knows they have done something to hurt us!!
Interesting eh? We want to take on hurt.
Really it is very interesting that we sometimes want to be or seem to enjoy being hurt.
Where does this come from? Not from Me I assure you.
So don’t hesitate to ask Me “why do I want to feel hurt or slighted Lord? What of You is missing in me?”
And I will point to My Love. That is what is missing in you. You do not feel Loved enough by Me!!
So the reinforcing prayer “thank You Lord for Loving me.”
Believe it, trust it, live it, live in it.
Sacrifice all other knowledge but this. Ache to only know this to the fullest of your being. “I Love you.”
Reinforce your belief “Thank You Lord for Loving me.”
You see, if you do not believe in My Love you will not be inclined to say this prayer.
Yet, I beg you, most solemnly, that even if you do not believe in My Love for you, say this prayer anyway.
Whether you come at it from belief, or you are going to start saying it just in case, the Result is the same.
I Love you, and your body and soul graciously accepts My Love, even if you are not as thankful as you want to be, or are unsure of your thanks.
I STILL LOVE YOU and want you to say it to yourself so that the One I LOVE gets to know ALL --- the only ALL that is important to know --- “I LOVE YOU.”
“Thank you Lord for Loving me.”
This prayer will never hurt you, however it will enlighten you.
