Soul Service

#874 Fri. Aug. 24/18,  4pm,  St. Theresa’s, before the Blessed Sacrament (in missal)
(soul service)

How we tippy-toe around the subject of God!  Who has instilled this fear in you that you hesitate to proclaim Him as your One, True God?

Do you see the extreme pain this causes your soul?  It is starving for My Nourishment, yet we think that if I am a good person, all is aok.

No, it is not.

Not unless you are doing the goodness for God’s sake.  You can have good people doing good things but there is no one to whom they are lifting up these good deeds.  They are just good deeds for your own sake not for the sake of your soul or the souls of others.

How can we, how have we disconnected our souls from the good deeds done by our body??

Do we do them because we look nice in the eyes of others?  Are we trying to impress others?

Why then, tell Me, do you do good deeds and for what reason?
And are they connected in any way to your relationship with God?

I Call My People to do good deeds as part of a higher calling, one in which their heart/soul takes part because of the spiritual need of others.

When you do your good deeds, do they encompass the needs of the others’ souls?

“Why should they?”, says you.
“Why shouldn’t they?” says I.

Why have you allowed such a distance to separate you from truly serving your brothers and sisters in Christ?

Is it because you do not see them as brothers and sisters in Christ?  To you they may just be others in the world in need of physical help.

But, I caution you, do not waste your time helping them physically if you do not want also to help them spiritually.

They are living souls so we cannot just treat one part of them and ignore the other.

Let them know that you want to help their souls, either with a prayer or another kind of outreach that lets them know you are doing an Eternal Service for the Lord.

Sour Lemons

#873  Mon, Aug. 20/18  10:50 am,  St. Theresa’s, before the Blessed Sacrament
(sour lemons)

Come quietly into My Presence.
Come boisterously into My Presence.
Come willingly or hesitant into My Presence.
Come into My Presence.

Once you are in My Presence I urge you to be still and quiet so you can hear My Love Words to you.

In all the noise and distraction around each of us there has to be silent reflective time to come aside and to get to know the Maker of Noise and the Maker of Silence.

The noise we sometimes hear is jubilant or maybe distractive.  But I have Created noise and your ears to hear noise, so thank Me, the Noise Maker.

You see, that is stepping aside from the noise to thank the Noise Maker!   Did you think of it like that?

Usually, all we want to do is get away from some loud noises, yet in our endeavor to get rid of the noise do we thank the Noise Maker.  I do not mean the person making the noise that is distracting you, but the Maker of Noise Himself.

So, apply that to other things that may distract or disturb you, whether it is a noise, smell, taste, touch that is caught by your senses, yet disturbs your senses.

Do we ever thank God for the sour lemon?  We may thank Him for the sweet candy, but not for the sour lemon.

But why would we not thank Him for Creating our taste buds that can pick up that sour taste?  Because He Created our taste buds for that purpose!

Interesting isn’t it that we thank Him for the beautiful sunset, but not for the black rain filled clouds.

Think of all the positive things we thank God for and then think of all the negative things we don’t thank Him for.   Is He responsible for both?

Did He only Create beautiful sunsets, ocean views, delicate flowers, cute animals, hard sounds?

So what do we claim belong to God’s handiwork and what do we feel He possibly could not have, would not have Created.

Just simply thank Him for ALL CREATION.

Don’t ask Me for an explanation of why “this” or why “that”.  Apply your soul to thank Me for all the “this” and “that’s” that aren’t explainable, yet fall under My Creative Hands.

So, do not waste your precious time trying to figure out why “this” why “that”.   Just go right to the Creator of “ALL this” and “ALL that” and thank Him for His Creation.

We waste time trying to figure things out, when all we need do is spend time with the Lord who has the answers to all our questions.
