What shall we talk about?

Is there anything on your mind that you would like to share with Me?

Come whisper to Me your concerns.

Hold nothing back.  Share with Me your darkest secrets.  Did you know that I will not reveal them to another soul?  What a great friend I am.  I will not gossip about your secret to anyone else.  So I am a safe place to confide in.

That is really all I want you to know now--- that I will keep your darkest secret and never reveal it to anyone.  That means I will not embarrass you before others.

Something just jumped into your mind didn’t it?  “How often Lord do I embarrass You before others?”

Show me Lord.  If I even do it to You by embarrassing others, please show me Lord and I give You permission to yell in my ear to stop.

Thank you Lord for revealing to me that I may unintentionally embarrass others, yet why would I even do it unintentionally?  So really is it unintentional?

If I do not intend to embarrass and yet it causes embarrassment, help me Lord to see the root of why I do this.

Is the intention to deflect criticism from me?  Am I trying to look like I have a sense of humor?  Or do I want to put another on the spot?  And if so, why?

Ask Me for the Grace not to say anything that will embarrass.

We haven’t looked at this before, but let’s start now.

Ask Me to reveal to you the harm it does to your soul and the soul of the other.

Night, God Bless.  Hold everyone in high esteem.  Endeavor to treat their precious souls with much love and gratitude.  Endeavor to treat their precious souls as you want your precious soul treated.

You would not want Me to embarrass you; so follow My Example. 

The Lesson of the Comfortable Bed

Morning comes and we hesitate to greet it because the bed feels too comfortable.

Whenever  I call, let it be.  Let it be Me inviting you to come closer to Me.

I do not come to disturb, I come to welcome and invite.

My Presence in your life should not be seen as a disturbance or interruption but rather as a calling, a calling to share more of Me with you.

Our physical comfort seems at times to want to dominate our spiritual comfort.

I ask you to make Me, let Me be in charge.

You see, we offer our surrender prayer then hold back when we don’t really want to surrender our comfortable bed for the starting day.

It is a great example to each of us about surrendering.

Are we willing to surrender only when it does not interfere with our physical comfort?

I do not ask this as a mean question.  Yet it can further reveal to you, to anyone reading this, that our surrender to God has to be uppermost.  It must not have any conditions attached.

Do you see what I mean?  This has been a great example.

How many of you decide what time you are going to get up in the morning, yet if you wake earlier and I call, do you tell Me, even just by your actions that this part of your life you have not surrendered to Me yet.

Please, please I do not ask a mean question.  I ask a discerning question.

If you wish to draw closer to me consider what you still don’t want to surrender to Me. 

Think about it.  Really think about it.  Ask Me to point out to you what you still should consider surrendering to Me.

I know what parts and pieces you still hold dear and under your control.  You do not do this to be mean, yet you do it almost unconsciously.

Let Me help you to make conscious decisions in your life that will draw you closer and closer to Me.

“Lord, I surrender myself to You this day.”  “Lord help me to surrender myself to You this day.”

Do you see which prayer will have more strength and endurance?

Again, without My Help you can do nothing significant for the good of your soul.

So you can say “I surrender myself and my day to You, Lord.” And I accept this surrender.

But now say “Lord, help me to surrender myself and my day to You.”

Do you see the deeper surrender in the second prayer?  You know in this prayer that your surrender will be more complete because you are relying totally on My Leadership in your life this day.

Sometimes when we have to ask for help we feel it indicates that we aren’t strong enough to do it ourselves.

Rest assured that you have found Great Wisdom when you realize you can’t do it yourself!

What a great revelation.  What simple yet profound Wisdom.

“Lord, help me to surrender myself and my day to You.”

Now let Me Help you, Guide you, Love you through this day.  Let Me Lead you to peace and harmony.  Let Me lift every burden because you have asked Me to, given Me permission to.

I say to you not Go in Peace, but rather Come with Me in Peace.  Walk with Me this day in Peace. 

the Grace of Single Purpose

#450  Wed. Nov. 18/15, St. Theresa’s, before the Blessed Sacrament

Oh God. Help us to adore You!

Help our minds and hearts to be of one accord as we endeavor to adore you. 

Let your Graces flow so that our minds and hearts are one in adoring you.

We need Your Graces so that the time we spend in adoration is heightened, taken to a new level because we are giving our all to You.

Ask Me for the Grace of Single Purpose – to adore Me with all your heart, mind, strength – your whole being.

Sometimes your mind wanders doesn’t it.  That’s ok.  But quickly ask Me for the Grace of Single Purpose --- to adore Me.

You may not have known about this Grace before, but now you do.

What a great come back, when we find our mind and heart wandering away during adoration to quickly ask Me for the Grace of Single Purpose.

You want to adore, you want to be ever closer to Me, nourished by Me, enlightened by Me, yet sometimes the mind loses focus and you find yourself, not physically, but mentally in another place.  Interesting how the body and mind can separate themselves isn’t it. 

So I want now to enlighten you to the Grace of Single Purpose.  Your body, mind and heart want to be one as you sit before Me.

They want to be united in adoring Me.  So ultimately you adore Me more fully – the all of you in the ALL Presence of Me.

I tell you this is a very special Grace.  It invites us closer than before when we did not know of this Grace.

So it is not the Grace of Petitioning Me, or asking for such and such or for thanking Me.  It is different.

It is just to be fully you in My Presence --  the fullness, the all of you in My Presence.

Strip everything else away in the chapel.  You need not note the crack in the wall, or the light how it slants in thru the window, or the number of people here with you.

Your single purpose is to be solely with Me.  Nothing around you in your surroundings must distract from our union.

Now yes, sounds will be heard, you may smell something – perfume, etc. but that is not your purpose for being here.

Ask Me for the Grace to come before Me with a single purpose --- to fully adore Me with the all of you.

Do not list off your hurts, your concerns, the people you wish to pray for.  Do you not think that I know all of this already?

“Lord give me the Grace of Single Purpose.”

And you do not need to be in church, or even anywhere the Blessed Sacrament is exposed, or in the tabernacle.

I will give you this Single Purpose to adore Me wherever you happen to be, whenever you ask for it.

“Lord, give me the Grace of Single Purpose.”
