NOW matters

#271  Mon. June 9/14, 9:45am.  St. Theresa’s before Blessed Sacrament.

 Write softly.  I want My People to know how gentle I want to be for them. 

I am like a feather against your skin, not like an arrow to the heart.  I sigh your name not in a feeling bad way, but in an admiring way ---  like Judy, Harold, Margaret, Tom, Leslie, Frank, Anne, Terry.

When I say your name it is a gentle whisper from My Most Sacred Heart to yours.

Listen for Me --- I am always calling your name. 

I want you to turn and realize the whisper in your soul from Me is much stronger than lightning, more powerful than a tornado.  It holds ALL life in this one whisper.

You will notice you are not at peace when there is crashing and bashing going on.  Yet a gentle touch from a co-worker, a kind word, or a simple smile from a stranger touches the inner part of your soul and brings it to a healthier way of being.

So it is with Me.  I want to gently touch your soul by whispering your name.

Listen as I repeat your name over and over in your soul.  It is not said in haste, or harshness, or belittlement or dishonor.  I honor you.  I adore you.  You are My Precious One.

Take another example.  Think of your favorite toy or possession.  Do you toss it around without a care if it breaks or not?  Do you hold it close, turn it over in your hands gently look at it from all sides and admire each part of it. 

Yes you do!

Do it right now.  Think of something you treasure.  If it is close by, pick it up.  Tell it why you love it.  Is it full of good memories?  Does it remind you of a loved one?  Is it just something that tugs at your heart for no apparent or obvious reason?

If it is a toy, have you named it?  If it is another object, have you named it?  My Mom’s favorite table cloth, my Dad’s ring, my brother-in-laws jacket?

Now see Jesus picking you up in His Tender Hands, calling you by name, looking at you from all angles and being delighted with you from all angles.

Does He throw you to the ground and say you are worthless.  Absolutely NOT.

He holds you tenderly and tells you how much He Loves you, what joy you bring to His Heart, what compassion He sees in you, what great love you have.

Listen. Listen to Him affirm you as a worthwhile human being. He knows how worthwhile you are because He Created you.

If you want, you can tell Him how worthless you feel because of what you have done or has been done to you.

But He will gently say “But right now, with Me holding you safe and secure, you are not worthless.  The hurt you inflicted, or that was inflicted on you, is NOT here with you and Me now.” 

I want you to know that it is only the NOW, with Me, that matters.

I know when you come to Me you are heavy burdened.  Otherwise you would not be seeking Me out.

But, note that I tell you that if/when you bring your burdens to Me “I will give you peace.”

So the invite is not just to come to Me once, but come to Me ALWAYS, come with a sore toe or a broken heart.  Each of these is a burden, so bring them to Me.

NEVER, EVER say that this or that thing is not that important or necessary to bring to the Lord.

Do not let yourself analyze or judge what needs to come to Me.  Bring ALL of  you every day, every second of the day to Me and I will give you rest.

Isn’t it oh so wearisome to carry all the broken bits and pieces of you around with you all the time.  Sure it is!

That is why My Invitation is always being thrown open to you.

I know the weight of all the bits and pieces of the broken you are a burden and so I invite you to bring them to Me.

Right now I want you to name something about you that is bugging you.  Even just a little, little bit.  OK. Now bring it to Me.  It becomes less of a burden to you, and absolutely no burden to Me, when you drop it off for Me to care for.

This is not a cure solution, but rather a caring solution.  I will care for this nagging thing of yours while you go about your daily life.  When it bothers you again, and perhaps again assure it, whatever the ‘it’ is – that you have given it to God to care for so you no longer have to worry or fret about it which ultimately is what destroys peace  --- the worry and fret over the “burden.”

Now sit quietly and listen for Me to repeat and repeat your name from My Heart to yours.

Hear the worth, prominence, adoration I give to your name, to you through your name. 

If it brings tears to your eyes, rejoice and thank Me for these tears. 

If it brings even a moment of peace to your body, praise and thank Me for it.

So, even if it brings you peace even for a moment, then perhaps the message is that the more we sit in silence and hear Him call our name gently from His Heart to ours, the more peace we will have.

Now some of you will instantly say “I am too busy all day to stop often for this meditation.”

But I bet you can find many times during the day when your heart can take rest in My Heart.

On an escalator, elevator, line-up for a flight, waiting for your meal in a restaurant, while sipping coffee.

You have many moments.  I will leave it up to you to find them and make holy good use of them, so that our relationship can grow and grow.

God Bless every particle and piece of your day.  See your worth in the World through My Eyes, ask Me to gently hold you, ask Me to hear your sighs, ask Me to release over you abundant Graces of self-worth because you are Mine.

You may never find yourself worthy.

I have always found you oh so worthy.

Let My View of your worthiness reign in your heart.  More of Me and less of you!!  That is the goal, Right?

I Love you.  You are Mine.

 

Self-satisfying

Jesus, Jesus, Jesus!   Always call on My Name.  Always.

Seek first the kingdom of Heaven and all will be yours.

You laugh, Margo, because you were trying to make sure you were saying it as it is written in the Bible.  Those are Words of Mine yes, but so also these are Words of Mine, so no matter how I phrase it, it is RIGHT.

Come and sit with Me awhile.  What needs further explanation?

Does your heart tell you this or that, that needs healing.  Thank your heart for revealing these things to you.  You are a healthier person for hearing these heart reminders.

I know it discourages you sometimes that you fall back into the same old sins.

It would be very hard to bear if you do not realize that I am with you always.  I am here to forgive and the Holy Spirit is here to guide.

Just ask to be more attentive to our ‘voices’ which caution you to hold your tongue.

Do not race ahead into using your tongue on gossip before you use it saying Jesus, Jesus, Jesus.  You don’t even have to tell Me why you call My Name.  I know the circumstances and I provide the Graces.

Welcome Me to rule your tongue.  You now see one of the weak points that the devil also knows and will make good use of.

Now go deeper.  Why do you talk about others especially if I have asked you not to ?

What is lacking in our relationship that needs further healing?

Does it pump you up to put down others?  Is it a sign of insecurity?  Loneliness? Unsureness? Fear of silence?

I ask you to pray on this.  I will remind you.  Just simply ask Me “Lord show me the path of life.”

Gossip is not life.  Gossip is the opposite – it destroys your life and the life of the other because you are not supporting their life with your unconditional love!

Hard to believe?  Yet it is so, or I would not have told you.

You may not be able to stop others around you from gossip, yet in a small way you can by not jumping in and being part of the gossip.

Note that when you brag and praise another it is not gossip!  So now you know your measuring stick.

We have looked at gossip before yet it does not harm to look at it again. Right?

You know it is gossip when you are tearing the other person down.

I do not care how you want to break it down “well I am just making a comment”, or, “everyone else knows about this”, or, “the person wouldn’t mind me saying this.”

Ha, I say.  Then say it lovingly to his/her face.  Oops you can’t?   Why?

Remember if the words coming from your mouth do not reflect My Unconditional Love to the World, then they do not bring hope and healing to the World.

Perhaps this was Peter’s thorn in his side that he asked the Lord to remove?

I reveal these weaknesses to all of you so that you will be able to grow closer to Me.  I do not shove you away, but want to draw you and your weaknesses closer to Me, into My Sacred Heart for healing.  Yet if I don’t point this out, and you don’t readily accept My Grace of Revelation, then we just can’t grow closer.

Tell Me now how sorry your are for giving your tongue permission to run down My Creation.

With one breath you thank Me for My Creation; then, in another breath you run down My Creation.

So, it is not just you sinning through small gossip.  It is you demeaning Me the Creator.

We have been told that gossip upsets Me.  You don’t upset Me.  But you can upset our relationship.

Instead of growing closer to Me, you move farther and farther away.

This is not new revelation, yet it is new for this day.  I ask you to ask Me each day to guard your tongue. 

I do not care if this reveals to the World a sin of yours.  I want you to care about our relationship and how it tears you away from Me.

It should not, must not bother you if others think less of you for your gossip.  First and foremost it should bother your heart/soul extremely that it tears apart our relationship.

In gossip we sometimes, most times, want to look important and better in the eyes of others while running others down.  Now that sounds complicated but it is not.

We want to throw in our important 2 cents worth.  We want to look as if we are better than some.  Most importantly we want to shine in our own eyes!  Yes, yes indeed.  That is the satisfaction of gossip. It is very self-satisfying which goes contrary to our on-going endeavor to be close to the Lord.

Anything that satisfies our ego is destructive to our God relationship.

Ask Me each day to guard and guide your heart.  Ask Me to empower your Guardian Angel to help you with this.  Your Guardian Angel already has these Graces, however we fail to consult our GA daily for their assistance. You know the prayer.  It is not just to keep you physically safe but to light and guard rule and guide you --- All of you. 

Your thoughts, your tongue, your unkindness, your actions, your lack of action. 

Dare to show Me daily how much you need Me in your life.

Ask Me daily to reveal to you how much you need Me in your life.

Jesus, Jesus, Jesus.

You may, some days have to say this many, many, many times a day to keep our relationship strong and intact. Don’t hesitate.  With My Name on your lips you can never go wrong. It is a moment by moment strengthener.

Do gossip and blasphemy go hand in hand? 

I will leave you with this thought.  Can you blaspheme My Sacred Name by gossiping about My Sacred Creation?

Have we ever connected the two?

I ask each of you to pray on this asking Me to reveal to you what you need to know.

Now take heart.  This is not to lead you to beating yourself up.  I tell you most solemnly do not go there --- into you, you, you.

But come to Me, Me, Me and do not be afraid to ask and ponder and just simply delight in the fact that no matter how many times you feel you slip in this relationship, I do not.

I do not stop loving, I do not condemn.

I beckon, I beg, I Love, I Smile.

I want you to know that My Unconditional Love which is full to the brim NEVER lessens, NEVER. 

If this is all you grasp from this reading today then you have found the precious pearl, the gold nugget, the fullness of all the riches this world can offer.

I LOVE YOU and nothing you can ever say or do can stop that.  Tell Me who else guarantees such a constant, live-giving love with no constraints, no hesitation.  ONLY I CAN AND WILL AND DO.

Now with that --- go in peace, sin no more.  What great advice.  What great revelation!
