Engulf me

1005a   Sat. July 13/19,   4:05pm,  St. T. Before the Blessed Sacrament

Come now and abide in Me.  Do not waver from this invitation but let it play a strong role in your heart.

Quiet all suspicions, quiet all your mind’s wanderings and come live in Me.

Tell Me that you want to live in Me totally and entirely.

It is easy to say but not always easy to do.  But at least to be willing to say it, it is good for starters.

Then when you say these words, take time to step aside and let Me engulf the totalness of you.

Do not think that this is not possible.

I want you with Me in all ways and always.

Give Me permission to engulf the ALL of you.

Tell Me, “Lord, engulf the ALL of me.”

And you know this will include all your body cells, all your pride, humility, sins and all else that makes up this special one of a kind you.

Come Lord engulf the ALL of me.

Thank you Lord for wanting to engulf the ALL of me.

Keeping Count????

Tip toe in so perhaps I will not notice you and count how many times you have come before Me in adoration

Do you really think I keep count???

Put aside your ego and put on My Love .  “Cover me Lord with Your Love.’

Why, in heavens name, would I ever count the times you have come before Me to adore Me.

Then I would count how many times you come before Me and your mind did not wander, or how many times you came before Me and fell asleep, or how many times you come willingly and joyfully or sad and upset.

Do you see what a distraction that would be for Me to count all these things.

I would not have any time to shower you with All My Love!!

Dearest One.  Do not fear each day.  Now doesn’t that sound fearful!!

But I do not want you to come into each new, holy day full of apprehension and fear.  “I wonder Lord if all will be ok for me this day?”

Rather, face this new holy day with Joy.  Tell me you are delighted to be with Me this new holy day and that you will put all your trust in Me.

It makes such a difference when you look at the day with Me, or you look at each day forgetting I am in charge of each and every moment.

How do you expect to get through any day without Me?

I ask you, how do you expect to get through any day without ME?

Do  you think you are in control of each moment of Creation?  Ask yourself that question.

Do you think you are in control of each moment of Creation?

You are more ‘in control’ if you relinquish your hand on creation and hand ALL of Creation including yourself into the Wondrous Hands of the Creator.

Then nothing is a shock or surprising because you will see ALL under His Control, His Creativity.

It may come as a shock to our human senses, but gently step back and see that it is not an all of a sudden Plan on My Part, but part of My Plan for each new day, for each person in this new, holy day.

Things do shock us because we presume they should not be happening because we have a plan for this new, holy day and when that plan gets shifted it surprises us doesn’t it, because that s not how we perceive that life should unfold.  Funny eh?

So now, look on each new, holy day as My Creation and that whatever happens in it is under My Hand.

Do not be disturbed or upset.  I am with you ALWAYS --- what firmer ground could you stand on?

I ask you, what firmer ground could you stand on?

Everyone else’s plans will fade away, will die.

Mine will not.  Rest assured in that.

My Plans are firm and are what is wanted each day in Creation.

A Question? and A Gift!

Come to Me with a broken, contrite heart.  Each one of you who comes to Me has a broken heart you know --- broken by all the worries and concerns of life.

Sometimes you do not think this way when you come to Me, but most of all those who have a broken heart.

Even feeling that you want to be ever closer to Me can break your heart when you do not think it is happening, often enough or long enough, etc.

How do you come with a contrite heart? 

Oohh what a great question!

Are you fed up with trying to fix it all on your own?

Then your heart is contrite as you admit to Me and to yourself that you do not have the solution to any or all parts of your life.

It certainly takes a contrite heart to admit that they have no power when they thought all along that they did.  So, do not be insulted to think you are coming to Me with a broken contrite heart.

Do rejoice that you do know where to go to have a broken contrite heart fixed. 

What a wondrous moment in our lives when we realize our nature and its flaws and God’s flawless Nature.   What a Gift!

Distress focuses on you

Do not become distressed.  Distress focuses on you. 

I want you to focus all your time and energy on Me.  Facing Me, being with Me reduces stress because you immediately depend on Me and not on you to solve whatever the problem may be. 

Come and be heard by Me.  Stop talking with yourself, to yourself and bring all your thoughts, feelings, etc. into My Holy Presence.

Do not look around for your solution.  But depend solely on My Solution whether it is immediately or not.

Don’t put any pressure on Me for a quick answer.  Tell Me you have brought your concerns, your ‘stress’, to Me and will wait patiently, joyfully for a response. 

If it raises its head again, pick it up and bring it to Me.  It takes barely a second to do, yet is so, so necessary if our relationship is to remain steady and strong. 

a Simple Explanation

Our day begins, should begin with Joyfully greeting the Lord and thanking Him for this new, holy day.

Remember it is new --- never has it happened before, and never again.  It is holy because the Lord , our God Created it ---- and He is Holy.

Greet your day with great respect.  That is why we surrender ourselves to Him, each day, out of respect for the fact that we wouldn’t be here without His Will willing it.

Each moment is so Sacred.  Do not let a second fall into disarray and be belittled as not important.

All, each second I give you is important because it gives you a chance to serve Me, fully surrender to Me, fully surrender with Great Joy.

So, why should we ever be sad?  It is a good question isn’t it.

Why should I ever be sad Lord if I truly have surrendered each second of my life to do your Holy Will?

Now you certainly can surrender to My Holy Will in frustration or indifference.

But right away you see that is not true surrender!  That is surrender against your free will.

True surrender is done Joyfully giving over your free will to do My Will. 

It is a joyful free will giving of yourself to Me!

What a simple explanation eh?

Surrendering in frustration or fear does not imply giving your free will to Me.

Surrendering with Joy means handing your free will to Me by using your free will to do it with great Joy!

In the first you are grumbling, under your breath, that this is not really what you want to do.

In th second, there is rejoicing that you are able, by using your free will, to submit to My Will for you and the World.

Do you see the difference?   I certainly hope you do.

Now, go into this new, holy day with great Joy.  Knowing that it is new, it is holy and you are part of it in great Joy when you freely choose to follow Me.

It can’t get any better than this!!
