The Mass is all about Me

Even he saw it was our morals that have caused our churches to collapse, close and be sold.

Interesting isn’t it, that someone whom we would cast aside would have the wisdom of the corner stone!

How does he see it and others don’t?

What has blinded us to the fact that our churches are closing because of the decline in our social morals?

We think it is a population shift.  Have all the folks moved away?  In some cases they have moved physically out of an area.  But in many cases they have moved morally away from the church.

Make sure every day to move closer and closer to Me.  Do not let any circumstance raise its ugly head that takes you away from serving Me as you know you should.

And notice that the ugly thing does not have to be a catastrophe.  No, No, NO.

It has come from inside your heart that has called a situation ugly. 

And thus you feel you can make the judgment call that you don’t need it anymore because it does not fit into your life style.

Like, you might not like the priest, so you stop going to Mass.  Then you obviously do not know what the Mass is all about!

Let Me tell you --- it is all about Me.  It is centered on Me and not on you and your likes or dislikes.

What value you are passing up by not attending Mass.

How can you not understand the ultimate value of the Mass? What has clouded your vision?  What can promise you more than I promise you? 

Do you not think that this is a puzzle?  What more do I need to whisper or yell into your ear to get your attention to return to Me?

it is about Adoring ME

(It is about Adoring ME)

O come all yee faithful.  Can you hear Me calling you to come and adore?  Then why are so few here? 

Perhaps you do not know My Voice.  Perhaps you are busy planning your day instead of giving it to Me to plan for you.

Look how enlightened you become when you toss it all into My Precious Hands.  We are not here to beat you up.  We are here to better your life so why not depend more on Us and less on you?

Stop talking to yourself and start talking to Me.  Ask Me for directions and don’t you think I will kindly give it. 

It is not about adoring.  It is about adoring Me.

Don’t come just to adore.  Let Me know you are coming to adore Me, your lover, your friend, your Loving God.

You see, when we come to adore, we sometimes come with our own agenda.  “I’ll get my rosary said”, or read a particular book.

But, put Me first and foremost.  It is just not a prayerful time for you.  It is much more important.  It is a prayer time at which you get to know Me more and you can only do that by adoring Me.

Sounds silly eh?  “Lord I learn about You reading holy books.”  “I endeavor to pray the rosary fervently.”

But, these are all you ‘doing’.  I want you BEING before Me in the fullness of your being without any man-made distractions.

What is most important is Me coming to you fuller and fuller each time you come and BE before Me.    

My God, My God

I want to stir your heart gently with My Words.

Obedience pays off.  Listen to My Voice and respond when I call you forth to write.

I know what I need to say to My People so don’t think your efforts are ever futile.

My God, My God --- call those words out to My Father at any time and any place and for any reason.  Do it in Joy.  Do it in sorrow.  Do it because it brings you into His Marvelous Presence. 

He knows you need Him.  Now show your soul with these words that you know you need Him.  He is never far away, but is so respectful of your privacy that He won’t barge in uninvited.

Let the force of who He is and what He can do be part of your life.  Call His Blessing upon you with the words My God, My God.

Let the Creator’s force settle in you and around you.

Let these simple words awaken in your heart the need you have for God in your life – for a very personal God in your life.

To those simple words you can let them stand on their own, or add to them.

My God, My God thank You for Creating me this day.

My God, My God thank You for pleading my case.

My God, My God thank You for hushing my tongue.

My God, My God, be there for me always.

Just keep making up additions to this simple prayer which can stand on its own yes, yet when you add things to it, it can make you more aware of how powerful God is in your life.

Now rest and thank our Blessed Mother for her many caring moments she spends with you, silently leading you to her Son.
