REVIEW -- #368 April 1, 2015

 #368  Apr. 1/15, Wed. 11:48pm, at home  (Where did I put Jesus?)

Close your eyes.  Am I still with you?

You do not need to see Me to know that I am with you.

I want your trust in My Presence in your life to be stronger than any 20/20 vision.

Rely on the spiritual sense of Trust.

Trust that I am here with you.  

Say to yourself “Jesus is here with me now.  Jesus is always with me.  Jesus never leaves me.”

Affirm this to yourself in times of trouble.  

Affirm this to yourself when you get impatient, angry, down, despondent.

If Jesus were physically present with you, would you ever feel those feelings?

If He was sitting next to you on the couch would you get angry?  Most likely not!

So when we get upset, angry, impatient, we are really saying “Jesus you are not present to me right now.”

Would we say bad words, have bad thoughts if Jesus was sitting in the room with us?  Most likely not!

So, when we experience negative feelings, just check your heart.  

Where have you put Jesus so that we feel we can think and do and say things that we would not do if He were physically present with us.

It is a great test eh?  Where did I put Jesus?

Did I leave Him in the other room so I could stomp off into my bedroom and growl at such and such?

If He came around the corner and we were stomping around mad and upset and He caught us, would we feel embarrassed or make excuses or blame another for our mood?

Do I think that somehow Jesus is not with me when I get cross?  

If He was ever before my spiritual eyes, very rarely would I fall into negative emotions or bad behavior.

Trust that I am with you always. 

Not just to save you from outside harm, but to help prevent you from harming your own soul by your thoughts, words and actions.

If you get upset, look around and ask Me “what do You think of what I just did/said, Lord?”

I may ask you – was it necessary?   Did it improve the situation?  Who got hurt by your words? Did your soul feel refreshed after this angry outburst????

Ask Me to put your anger into context.

Ask Me to enlighten you as to the serious danger of untreated anger.

Be willing to listen when I say I don’t want you walking in that dark abyss.

Did your anger improve our relationship and your relationship with others?

Trust that I am with you always.  

When you start to stomp off, take My Hand and ask Me to lead you to safe ground.

Trust that I will do this if you only ask Me.

Anger blinds us.  So when you feel the first glimmer of anger arising, take My Hand and ask Me to lead you far, far from anger.

Now sleep.

Sleep trusting in My Constant Presence.  Trusting that I am the only one who can lead you to safe ground.

I Love you.  Be at peace.  Be loving, kind, considerate.

Practice Patience.  

I have given you lots of opportunity so please make use of acquiring the fullness of this virtue.

REVIEW -- #367 from March 31, 2015

 #367   Tues. Mar. 31/15, 7:40am, at home (Please don’t disturb me, Lord.)

Reveal My Words to My People.

I am your God.  

I am your Loving God.  

I want you healed and whole.  

I want the safety and well-being of your soul.

Hasten not to run from Me, but to gently move closer.

Do you think you know the ALL of Me?

Do you think you have done all I have asked of you?

Are you content to stay where you are in our relationship, or will you dare to step closer and ask Me “what more do you want/need of me, Lord?”

We are most content to stay settled where we are.  

We are happy not to be disturbed.  You see I did not say you are happy and that’s it.  

You just don’t want to come closer because you sense I will disturb your life.

But what a great disturbance.  

Could anyone ask for more than to be mightily disturbed by Me?

We tread softly so I will not speak too loudly to you, so that I might not even notice you are around.

You don’t want Me to speak to you because you are content in the faith-life you have established.  Aren’t you.

I did not come to bring Peace to the World!!

I do not want you content and cozy.  

That is your choice for your life.  

I want you discontent – that is, seeking more of Me each day.

We will say our regular prayers, go to Mass on Sunday or more often, but then what do you do?

Yes, you do good deeds, feed the poor, visit the sick, but I ask you have you come into My Presence often to consult with Me on how you should look at the World, of how you should treat those in the World, of how you should react to situations in the World?

I want to draw you deeper into service of Me.

Call out My Name – “Jesus” – and then ask Me what I want of you today.

Have you brought your needs to Me today to be cared for, not fixed but cared for.

Do you trust that My Hand and Heart are aching to care for the all of you?

Do you Trust in Me?  In all honesty you will have to admit --- “only a little bit Lord.”  

And that is TRUTH.  When you utter those words you are doing so in My Presence.  

When you state that you Trust in Me completely and yet I rarely have a one on one conversation with you, or you rarely come aside to hear My Voice, how does this express your Trust in Me?

The words are easy to say, but please put them into action.

Trust Me when I tell you, when I shake you from your complacency that I want you to come aside and sit with Me.  Asking for nothing, yet believing I AM the True Center of your life.

Do not become content with the God you have created.  

Seek Me daily and ask to be closer and closer to Me and to pour forth My Graces on you that will reveal to you what I want for you.

“Please don’t disturb me Lord. I am doing just fine.”

That is what you must be saying to Me otherwise you would be flocking around My Throne asking Me to show you more of Me.

It is a good measuring tool, isn’t it!!

Let Me lead you in your morning prayer.  

Let Me plant in your soul the ache to know Me more and to serve Me even more humbly.

Does your pride get in the way of you serving Me?

“Well, I think I am doing fine, Lord!”

The young man in the Bible listed off to Me all the laws he had obeyed.  

Yet, he could not give himself up to Me!  Interesting, eh.

I don’t ask for your riches; I ask for you.

I don’t ask for law keepers.  I want law seekers.  

I want those who seek to meet and be with the One who makes the laws.

I don’t want to talk law with you.  

I want to speak Love to you, to speak of Love to you, to reveal to you that Love is all you need.

So, check your heart this day.  Are you content with the way you are leading your life?

Or no matter what great and good things you are doing, do you seek to be led by Me to do even greater things?

Each day, tell Me many times if you must, “lead me, Lord!”

What you think needs doing this day, may not be what I want done this day!!

Ask Me to Lead you.  

You may not get anything done you had planned.  

Yet know that what you have done has had greater merit!

“Lead me, Lord.”
