MY LOVE SUSTAINS -- #1387 from Aug. 22, 2022

 #1387   Monday, August 22, 2022,      9:10 am,       at home

Let the Power of My Love pour all over you.

Welcome it, beg for it, delight in it.

It is only My Love that sustains you through your life.

Had you ever thought of that before?

And why would you unless you are striving to serve Me more and more faithfully each day.

Do not get cross that you have never thought of it that way before.

Stop chastising yourself and welcome the abundance of My Love into your heart.

REVIEW -- #310 from Oct. 13, 2014

#310    Mon. Oct. 13/14  10:20am, St. Theresa’s, before the Blessed Sacrament

O Lord I am not worthy.

How many times have you expressed this sighing prayer?

You have shown me, Lord, the path of life and often I have avoided walking in it.  You know my weaknesses and sins, yet You still beckon and support me.

“You have found me worthy, Lord, and I am so, so thankful.”

Make that your prayer to Me.  This is an affirmation prayer.

This shows that you realize that no matter what, I have found you worthy.

The first prayer “Oh Lord I am not worthy” sees ourselves from our viewpoint.

Yet I keep beckoning you to step further and further into My Presence which sees you from My Eyes, from My Heart.

The second prayer affirms that I am the Lord of your life and that I see far beyond any of your faults and failings that sometimes keep you more earth-bound than heaven-bound.

You do not fail because of Me, yet you can certainly triumph because of Me.

I want you to reach higher and deeper than you have ever done and see Me as the highest goal and the deepest goal in your life.

What is your goal for your life today?

Is it to express how unworthy you are?  I certainly hope not.

Or is it to express to Me that you are so, so grateful that I Love you and want you to be Mine.

Set yourself a goal each day if you must.

Even if it is only to say “You have found me worthy Lord, and I thank you so, so much.”

I want you to hear My Prayer for you “I have found you so, so worthy and I thank you for being My Beloved One.”

That is what I say daily.

I want you to know without a doubt that I count you as My dear, dear One, and want to lavish you with My Love.

This is the “Word” I want you to hold deep in your heart “I Love you.”  “Jesus Loves me.”

I want to be so personal to you.  I don’t want you to doubt for a second how much I Love you.

We can stand on a street corner and yell out that “God Loves you” but no one seems to take the promise of that as a personal message.

That is why I want you to yell it out to your own heart “Jesus Loves me.”

Do you see how personal it gets?

The ‘you’ can look very, very plural – like I am talking to a bunch of people, yet the ‘me’ is very, very personal.  When I say the word me to myself I know it means me, Margo.

So when others say ‘me’ to themselves they know it refers to them personally.

Whether it is Karen, Leeanne, Margaret, Coralee, RhondaLynn.  Each ‘me’ person knows to whom God is personally speaking.

Don’t try to confuse matters by wondering if He really means you.

That is the devil dragging you away from My Words to try, in vain, to figure out what I really mean.

There is no doubt that when you read this passage “Jesus Loves me”, that I am not talking about anyone else but the ‘me’ who is reading these Words of Mine.

The devil distracts in big and small ways, but he persists knowing that he can catch us off balance and have us spend our time trying to figure out what Jesus really means.

What foolish distraction.

Yet many times we get caught up in it.  You know that is most certainly true.

We throw ourselves into the center of the ring of words and try to solve a problem that truly does not even exist.

It is not a problem “Jesus Loves me.”

What may appear to be the problem is – do I really believe it?

Well that is your free will coming into play.  You can choose to believe it or not.

Which would you rather believe and hang onto?  “Jesus Loves me” or “Jesus how can You Love me?”

When you say “Jesus Loves me” you open the gates of your heart to receive the fullness of this Love.

When you say “Jesus how can You Love me?”  you are not able to open your heart because you are working out of your head and your emotions.

Step back and dare to say “Jesus Loves me.”   Thank you Jesus for Loving me.

The incredible part is that is all you have to do.

The Lord knows your heart’s intentions and He will do the rest.

You do not have to make yourself worthy, do many penances, or turn away in disappointment.

You will be more freer in your daily routine than you were before because you no longer have to look for the nourishment your heart craves.

Your heart craves to be loved and when you tell it that Jesus Loves it, then it clearly has the nourishment and support it needs.

But if you stand in doubt, your heart cannot be strong and will be swayed by all sorts of outside influences in search for its only food – Love.

Do not abandon your heart.

Feed it with the phrase “Jesus Loves me” many times a day.

Even if you only start by saying it once a day.

Yet, that will not last long because you will see what good these nourishing Words do for your heart.

Now go in peace.

Not searching for Love but knowing beyond any doubt that “Jesus Loves me.”

Be ever so grateful for this Love which will carry you through the Now into Eternity.
