How Generous I am!

All of our thoughts get busy when we awake.

Ask Me to slow them down!  You have lost the quiet of sleep and now the body and mind ramp up. 

I can bring quiet again if you just toss all your day back into My Lap.

Tell Me  “Lord, this day belongs to You.  I do not want to control one moment of it.  Make me your humble, joyful servant.”

Do not presume I will not bother!  I just need your permission to take hold of your day and make it more worthwhile because you will be doing My Will and not yours.

Relinquish ALL to Me.  Do not let your will get in the way of My Will.

I want to invade your life, to enhance it and make it even more Graced than yesterday.

How Generous I am!

That I want to give you a more Grace-filled day than yesterday’s --- because you have asked for it, you are seeking it.

And I want your will to serve Me to be Complete, Whole and Graced.

Rain falls, snow falls.  Sun shines. Stars twinkle.  The earth turns, trees grow, people speak, dogs bark.

Where am I going with this you ask?  I want you to see the obedience of My Creation.  They all do as they have been Created to do.

But none of these, except people, have the chance just to BE in My Presence.

I do not connect with any other of My Creation as personally as i do with you, and you, and you.

Step back and just ponder how special you really are.  You can come to know your Creator!

You may have never thought of it that way before.  But that is what is so, so possible.

We just do not only do what He has Created us to do, but we can BE with the Supreme Being.  What a privilege and a blessing!

Because it then allows us to ask God to give us the opportunity just to BE with Him.  And then to let Him know that we will serve Him as He sees fit.  Not as we see fit.

But, if we do not spend time BEING with God, we will tend to go off and do our own thing. 

It may be a good thing, but only by spending time Being with God will we ever discover His Will for the World.

He may not want you to dig a ditch here, but rather over there.  So, while you are busy digging your ditch, His ditch lies fallow.

Now, digging a ditch may sound funny, but it shows you that doing good according to our plans and doing good according to His Plans are quite, quite different.

So we have to step back and tell the  Lord that we want to Be with Him more, so we then can serve Him more.

It has to be all about God, otherwise we are following our own whims and wants.
