#254 Wed. Apr. 9/14, 4pm, at home (My Truth, your truth)
Come aside and listen to My Words. My Words for each person in the World.
Are you ready to act on My Words?
Will you sit silent when I ask? Will you proclaim Me when I ask?
Do you hesitate to look at our relationship in case I will show you something that perhaps you have overlooked?
Don’t look to be spoken to as I speak to others. Look for My Message for you.
Do not point out to Me that a particular point I make would be really good for someone else to hear. Ask Me, Ask Me how I want you to hear it.
My Words will be the same for ALL, but the meaning of My Words will strike each person differently.
You may not need to be dragged out of the depth of despair, but you may still need to hear that “Jesus Loves you.”
You may feel you are going along just great, yet My Words of condolences may be needed by your soul.
Please, do not make an effort to see if My Message applies to you right now. Just read it, accepting My Word that it is needed by you.
I do not speak senseless Words to anyone. All that I say is meant to touch your heart/soul.
My Words are meant to continue to strengthen you, to give you a sign post to direct you, to give you a wall to lean on, or a bench to rest on.
My Words apply to you everyday.
Now you may say “but Lord, I feel great today, so it seems I have no need for Your Words today.”
And what would make you presume that just because all seems to be going great and good that you do not need My Words?
Am I your part-time keeper?, your occasional acquaintance?, your casual friend?, your now and then buddy?
That is how some of you treat Me.
Mind you, I do not take offense, but I know what you are missing in this relationship – a Constant Companion. One that you hail in good times and bad.
You may feel you have a good relationship with Me. I ask you to check your heart.
When did you last bid Me good morning and good night?
When did you last bring Me to the table with Words of Grace?
When did you stop to think of and thank Me for the rain and cold and sunshine?
Sure, you thank Me for the sunshine, but why not also for the rain and cold?
So sometimes you consider Me a good time friend --- you thank Me for the sunshine.
Or you may consider Me a tough-time friend --- calling on Me in desperate moments.
I will answer rest assured.
But that is why I am telling you to make Me your Full-Time Companion.
So when you read a Bible passage, don’t seek the meaning for you, just rest assured that these Words of Mine are meant for you.
Go ahead, right now, read something of what I, Jesus, have said in the Bible.
I have spoken of people possessed by demons, of making fishermen fishers of men, of reading that the scripture passage is really happening as they hear Him speak.
Each Word I speak is Truth.
Some of it we may not want to hear. And if so, ask your heart why it does not want to hear this particular Truth?
It is amazing that we are all seeking the Truth!
We have often said “well it’s the truth”, yet, when I speak, we are not sure if we want to accept My Words as Truth because eeegad, we will have to change our ways.
It is much easier to live in the truth that we have built up around us ourselves.
We want to do things our way which we value as being very truthful.
Yet, dare we weigh our ways against My Ways?
And please, please, please don’t start by pointing out the fact that others could be doing what I have asked each one of you, ALL of you, to do.
Isn’t it easier to say that that rich person should be willing to give up lots and lots of his money to help the poor?
So, because I am not as rich, that takes me off the hook from helping the less fortunate?
See how we see Jesus’ Truth and apply it to others.
Well, I can’t be a fisher of men because I don’t know that much about God.
Well, I can’t drive out demons, because I do not have God’s power.
Stop right here. You can drive out demons that cause you to be greedy, dishonest, full of pride etc.. Ask Me to Grace you to do this.
But again, here is the lesson --- ‘I don’t think I am that greedy, or that pride-filled, so there is no need for me to ask God to point these out to me so I can have a cleaner, lighter soul.’
So, we almost delight in telling God I don’t need Him because I can see that I am already quite, quite good.
Again whose Truth are you measuring this against?
Look at Luke 4. I, Jesus, was filled with the Holy Spirit and yet was still tempted!
I did not resort to defending Myself against the devil by using My own human words.
I brought God into the picture. “Man cannot live on bread alone.”
Now, when you hear these Words, how do they speak to your soul or do you think they were only meant for that time and place?
We, who are blessed to have food, feed our bodies daily. Yet do we take time to feed our souls? Each day?
Not necessarily looking for Jesus’ Words that will make us feel good, but rather His Words that will feed us.
Look at how some food is bland tasting, so we add salt. The food itself may be mighty good for us, but we want it to taste good.
So the same when we read the Bible. We want it to taste good.
If it speaks to us and reveals to us something that we may have overlooked, or not realized needed fixing, we may move on to another passage that we think will suffice our soul.
However, sometimes our soul has to hear bitter words that are not meant to hurt so you will turn away, but rather so you will turn into your heart and His Heart and have a heart to heart chat.
Like “Heh Lord, why are these Words of Yours really striking me hard?”
Do you think the Lord is not ready and eager to answer?
“Take heart”, He will say. “Your sins are forgiven.”
Sometimes we may not even have thought of this or that as a sin. But, if He speaks to your heart, if the taste of His Words are bitter, He wants you to realize that they contain The Truth about your dear, dear soul.
I, God, do not waste a Word.
I do not ramble on and on leaving you dazed.
Each Word of Mine is Full of Love. Now when you read it, it may appear as a punch in the stomach, it may hit your soul that hard.
But, it is only because I Love you.
I know it hurts to get called up on the carpet and have Me reveal to you the things that have been leading you astray, especially when you didn’t think you were doing that badly in your life.
But here you have a choice. Yes you do.
You can ignore My Directions, My Guidance, My In-your-face Moments and continue on as before.
Or, I should say, try to continue on as before.
I only speak the Truth here. Because once your soul hears The Truth from Me it will be restless till it rests in the fullness of Me.
You will seek happiness here, there, and everywhere and yet never be satisfied.
And the Truth is that you won’t be satisfied till you are in the Fullness of My Presence.
And so even those who have chosen to try to follow Me will never be fully satisfied till they are in My Full Presence.
Yet, they still know and live in the ‘now presence’ of Me and suffer less turmoil of the soul that they endeavor to satisfy with My Way, My Truth, My Life.
Wander no further. Tell Me now you seek only The Truth that I AM.
