#462 Thurs. Dec. 17/15, 3:30pm, St. Theresa’s before the
Blessed Sacrament
(a work of mercy)
How dear My People are to Me.
How I do not want one of them lost.
Bring all into My Most Sacred Heart. Let us together rejoice over each one.
List them off to Me and as we look upon each one we will
look on them with Love. Not with the
intention of making them better, improving their lifestyle, correcting any
errors or omissions.
The greatest work of Mercy is to Love unconditionally.
What Mercy that takes, on our part, not to want to judge,
make better, improve, correct.
What Mercy on the other who does not have to change to be
Loved!
What a work of Mercy!
Each time we look at others, what do we think
n --Very
tall
n --So
short
n --Too
chubby
n --Too
talkative
n -- Ignorant
n -- Unstable
n -- Crooked
n -- Disobedient
n -- Unlovable
n -- Caustic
n -- Uncaring,
caring
Why can’t our gaze fall on another with no judgment call or
comment at all?
Why, when we look and see, do we then make up something
about them? Very tall, short, not
handsome, etc.?
Why don’t we start to practice that when we look upon
another, we only want to see God.
Remember we are made in His Image and Likeness. So are we commenting on God when we comment,
even to ourselves, about another?
Where do we behold beauty?
And where do we behold otherwise?
If we are made in His Image and Likeness, do we dare tell
God He is too short, His face is not really good looking, etc.?
This may seem extreme but I am trying to get a point across
--- why do we not see the very essence of God in each other?
Ask Me for the Grace to Discern Me in each person you see,
either close-up or from afar.
See Me draped as a King or struggling as a pauper --- but see
Me.
You will be mightily blessed when you can start to see Me in
All People. The ones you really like and
get along with and the ones you do not like to get along with .
That is because you are seeing the person and not seeing Me.
So is it that sometimes you get along very well with Me and
sometimes you don’t?
Do you avoid the Me who is in the person you find hard to
get along with?
That is a most interesting question, isn’t it.
So what part of Me do you miss by not associating with that
particular person whom you find hard to get along with?
Had you ever thought of it that way before?
There are parts of Me you miss because you avoid certain
people.
So are you only content to seek Me in places that are
comfortable for you?
Are you willing to roll over some stones and look for Me
there; lift up a heavy object to see if I am there; move away from center stage
to see if I am there?
See Me in the main character, see Me in all the supporting
characters, down even to the one who has no lines to say.
See Me in the great and the tiny – each contains the
fullness of Me.
Rejoice this Christmas with the Gift of Love for each and
every human being.
Just simply start with your family and ask Me for the Grace
to Bless each one.
