#1104 Tues. Feb. 18, 2020, 1:10pm, St. Theresa’s before the Blessed Sacrament
Write these Words “I Love you.”
Do they mean anything different to you today than yesterday?
Do My Words reach deeper each time I utter them or are they just on the surface each time?
Have you asked Me to open your heart so the Words can get deeper and deeper into your soul?
Why do you hesitate to do this?
Are you content to live on the surface of your life and not let Me take you deeper and deeper into the spiritual life?
Now, that is an interesting question.
Are you happy to just live on the surface spiritually?
Then, if so, you can have no relationship with Me because I want to journey deeper and deeper with you.
However, if you say you have heard the “I Love you” so many times and don’t need to hear it anymore, then I will step back.
What are you afraid of?
What do you not want Me to reveal to you?
Have you had enough of Me and now want Me to lay low and leave you alone?
Answer these questions honestly because, you see, I do know your heart.
Do you feel you know all you need to know about Me and now will get on with the rest of your life?
How do you get on with the rest of your life without more and more of Me in it?
Is 10% of knowing Me sufficient?
Is 20% or 30%?
Do you not want to have as much of Me as I am most willing to offer you?
I do not stop Giving. But you seem to have shut down to receiving.
Am I really only a bit of your life or a 1/3 of your life or ½ of your life?
Tell Me when you want Me to stop, and above all tell Me why.
When do you feel you don’t need Me?
When do you feel it is none of My business?
Please say it out loud “I don’t need more of you Jesus. What I do have is sufficient.”
Sufficient for what I ask you?
Am I getting in the way of your plans?
But unless your plans are to follow Me, they will not lead you well anywhere.
I think what happens is that we think all the great and good thing that happen are of our own making.
Do you take ownership of the good things that happen to you?
And then deny ownership of anything else that you don’t like and point to God as the One who let you down?
You have a lot to contemplate in this dictation. I look forward to hearing your responses.
I will be waiting --- Patiently, Lovingly, Mercifully.
