My God, My God, why have you forsaken me?
Have I?
Why would you call that out to Me?
What is your pain that leads you to believe that I have forsaken you?
Tell Me your pain. Tell Me what is tearing your heart apart right now.
I am here to listen. I Love you and I want to know why your heart is hurting so.
Be most honest with Me. Tell Me what is hurting you so badly that you feel you should call out to Me?
Do you see when you cry out that question, it is not about your hurt as much as it is about the pain in your heart that is caused by you thinking I have abandoned you.
Never fear. I have not. I shall not desert or abandon you.
But do you see what I mean?
Do you see that sometimes our heart pain far outweighs our body’s pain and thus we feel deserted in the midst of our turmoil.
Which would you have Me heal? The body pain or the heart pain?
Interesting question, isn’t it? One pain is in the present, the other could run into eternity.
Bring Me your heart. What troubles your heart? Be very truthful.
Is it something you perceive to be wrong, or is it something that is really wrong?
Can your heart, all on its own, fix whatever it is?
So much of our hurt is beyond our fixing yet it is not beyond My Fixing.
How do you want to proceed, endeavoring to fix it someway, somehow on your own?
You know that will be a futile task and take you very, very far from Me and My Kingdom.
You see, when our heart hurts we feel it is because God hasn’t been paying attention, otherwise it would not be hurting. Right?
Not so. You know because I have told you that I am with you always.
Yet, we sometimes get so overwhelmed by the pain and hurt that we forget this Profound Message.
As soon as the splinter of hurt enters your heart, rush into My Most Sacred Heart. Do not hesitate.
If you wish you can explain to Me what is hurting, but rest assured I know already.
However, you may want to get if off your chest by explaining it to Me and I most willingly accept your explanation.
Or, you can just rush into My Most Sacred Heart and take shelter there.
Just sit with Me and adore your hurting heart.
See your heart as I made it, not as it is disturbed and frustrated and hurting, but as I made it --- full of Love, full of Me, full of knowing Me, wanting to serve Me above all else.
Let Me release the hurt on your heart.
Let Me rid you of the pain of disillusionment, the pain of abandonment, the pain of discouragement, the pain of sorrow, the pain of retribution.
When our heart is hurting, we will most certainly hurt others. It is only natural.
When one’s heart is full of Love, we can only Love.
You don’t want to leave your heart hurting for too long, otherwise you will hurt others.
So the shorter the span of time you leave between the first signs of hurt and bringing your hurting heart to Me, the better for the rest of the world.
Because you will not look upon those near to you, or those whom you don’t know, in a loving fashion.
You will be ready, o so ready to judge, to condemn, to be unforgiving, to be nasty, to be insulting, to be proud, angry, despicable.
So the hurt in your heart, not only hurts you, but lashes out to hurt others. Make sense?
And you really don’t want to do that because you want to be close to Me and love Me and serve Me, and you know that you aren’t doing that when your hurting heart causes you to lash out at others.
Sit with Me awhile. Come aside and know that I am your God.
Unfold your arms. Go to your knees in grateful recognition that I have not and will not abandon you.
Leave your hurting heart with Me. Plunk it on My Lap and tell Me “Here it is Lord, do with it as you see fit.”
We don’t have to make use of this pain on our own to help save souls.
If so, then we are in charge of saving souls. And rest assured, we are not.
Yes, we are in the business of bringing souls to Christ, but He is the Saviour.
So when you hurt, give it to Me and let Me make the best of it.
Do not horde your hurts figuring you can fix them or that you will use them to save others.
Either way you are denying My Kingship.
That sounds harsh, but I have not brought you this far without already cautioning you that you are not in charge. You may want to be, but you are not.
Yet you have great gifts to render to Me which I most gladly accept.
Bring to Me the gift of your hurting heart.
Gee we have never thought of our hurting heart, brought to God, could be a gift.
But o yes, it is. It is the gift of your trust in Me that I can fix all things, in charge of all things, loving all things.
So, your hurting heart is not good for nothing!!
It certainly is good for something.
It serves you in such a way that when you bring it to Me for fixing, I accept it as a gift of trust from you.
It enables you to trust more and more in Me and My Loving Ways for you.
So, your prayer can be “My God, My God, You have not abandoned me.”
What a great switch on a famous prayer to God the Father from Me.
Please use it many, many times to reassure your heart that I do not abandon you. I do not abandon any of you. You are Mine.
I love you --- say it again and again --- Jesus Loves me.
This prayer sums up the fact that I will not abandon you. It is short and most simple and carries every ounce of Truth that I proclaim.
Now let your heart rest in My Heart. Seeking nothing. Expecting nothing. Anxious for nothing.
Try that even just for 5 seconds. You can do it anywhere.
By placing your heart in My Heart you give Me full permission to BE ALL to you.
Your gift of trusting Me with your heart will be well rewarded.
You may not see or feel any change, yet I assure you your reward is great.
Hark. Do not look for a reward because that is not the test.
Like, if I give Jesus my heart, He will reward Me. No, no, no.
But I tell you that your heart given to My Heart with deep trust will be rewarded.
You do not give Me your heart to get a reward.
You give Me your heart because you trust in My Love and Goodness with healing which can show itself in a multitude of ways --- all for your good and My Glory.
