To live fully human -- #1217

Do not turn away from Me.

That is really what sin is all about.  A turning away from Me.

I want you face to face with Me so you are more open to receiving the Love I am pouring over you.

When you turn away, you do not look for My Love.  You are chasing after something which you feel is more worthy of your attention.

Tell Me now that you are beginning to understand how much I Love you --- even if it is just a little bit.  

Thank Me for all that you see in a day, all that you hear in a day, all the feelings you experience in a day.

Who else asks you to share all of these things with them.  Not many, not any.  Because if they do, they have an agenda!

My only Agenda is to Love you --- to give you a place, time and space to share even the tiniest experience with Me.

I do not think you are stupid to tell Me you enjoy seeing the leaves blow off a tree --- like a leaf storm.

I don’t mind if you tell Me that you want to walk faster but can’t.

Do these sound foolish?   Well that is how we feel if we tell anyone else about these small things which play no significance in their lives, but are what make up ‘you’.

And that is the ‘you’ I Love. 

So, with great joy and delight share these with Me.  I will Smile but only because of the delight you bring to Me by bringing to Me the All of you!

So you see all the  instances in your day when you can be face to face with Me sharing even the tiniest, what may appear to others not significant, thing about your day.

I Delight in your character!

I Love the fact you feel free and open to bring Me ‘you’.

I Want to welcome you into living humanity to its fullest.

You see, we do not think, unless we have done great things, that we are living humanity to its fullest.  

But isn’t it really in the moments, cherished moments of our life that we are living humanity to the fullest.

And it then goes beyond your moment to moment experiences, because to live fully human means having the ability (God given) to share all your experiences with Me.

If your experiences do not translate to sharing them with Me --- all it takes is a simple thank-you  -- then you are not experiencing the fullness of each moment.   

Never seek Grandeur --- #1216

 

#1216   Thurs. Oct. 1/20,    11:30am   sitting in car outside St. Theresa’s church (church not open due to Covid)

O Sweet Jesus you offer us so many opportunities to serve you.  Free me from other distractions that step in the way of me serving You.

I don’t mean that you have to remove all distractions, but I pray that You Grace me to see beyond distractions to Your Most Blessed Way.

Do not let me wander off thinking I am serving you when it is really only my plan for me.  

I don’t mind at all if You show me the True Way.

When you get frustrated is this perhaps because something you planned is not coming to completion?   

Aaah, now you know your frustration is because it is not My Plan for you, because if you ache to serve Me you will never be frustrated if you follow My Way.

It is a great way to see if you have surrendered to Me or only a part of you wishes to serve Me.

Do not get discouraged!   EVER!  

If you ask Me to help you fully surrender, fully Love, I will hear and answer.  

Getting discouraged hints at how you thought I wanted the job done!

Do you see what I mean?

Are you willing to be obedient even in the slightest thing?  

Do not, never seek grandeur because then you will always be expected to feed your pride!

But if I give you an important task, and each of My Tasks is important, do not look for recognition or grandeur.  

Then if you do receive acclaim it will not feed your ego because you were not looking for it!

It is only when we seek acclaim that we either then feed our pride or even worse, we get upset because the elation of others is not enough, so our ego is then offended and you fall deeper and deeper into yourself and what you really need to survive.
