Sit with Me awhile.
Gaze at My Creation.
The snow that clings precariously to the tree branches, the icicle that hangs --- how can water hang?
The grey sky, very still that lends a darkness to the day, the streetlight, the seagull just looking for food, the shovel waiting to be used, the Christmas wreath with snow on it.
Thank Me for each. How does snow cling to itself and the branch even at a steep angle?
Of course there is a scientific explanation BECAUSE that is how we designed Creation.
All that your eyesight takes in is Creation.
But what of the things the eye can’t take in. Are they not still part of Creation, Created by your Heavenly Father?
What of the things in the ocean yet to be discovered? Are they not part of the Creation handiwork?
Do I only believe in the God I can see and even then attest that what is happening can be proven by science? But only because I have allowed some to deduct these scientific facts.
Believe in the God you can’t grasp or fully understand. Just believe in this God because He asks you to.
Don’t look for solutions to your questions. Sure you can ask questions, but don’t let your inquiring mind stop you from believing.
You will never figure out all things and understand all things or be able to explain all things to yourself or others.
So don’t make that un-knowledge be a stumbling block to you saying “I believe in God”.
Put your hand into Jesus’ side. Now do you believe as Thomas did?
Do you think Thomas stopped wondering and asking questions? NO. But these questions of his did not stop him from believing.
As a human being you are naturally going to ask questions. Some may have a simple answer, others may be more complicated and still others not answerable in your life time.
But do you then stop believing? No, of course not.
You have come to realize that you have a finite mind.
It cannot take in, digest, and solve all problems --- it is not possible!
So it is a natural state of affairs to believe in things even if you have not personally figured it out.
You may say I believe that a train will run on a train track somewhere in the world this day.
You don’t have to see it to believe it because you know that trains run on train tracks and do so all over the world on a daily basis. But you don’t have to see the train doing it.
You just believe it will happen because of the limited knowledge you have of trains.
