In vain!

#1016  Wed Aug. 14/19  3:55pm,  St. Theresa’s  before Blessed Sacrament (missal)
(IN VAIN)

All will fall to their knees at the sound of My Name.  That is for certain.

Many do not know Me or about Me but once they do, they will bow in holy reverence because My Holiness is so beyond anything they ever imagined.

So do not stop reverencing My Name, Jesus.  Whisper it not in anger or solitude but rather in the firm knowledge that I am God, a Merciful, a Gentle God.

I don’t mind if you use My Name when you are sad or lonely or even cross.  But you see, in those moments, I realize that you do not realize the deference you should be using when saying My Sacred Name.

What I mean is that when you say It ‘in vain’ you do not realize the power in it.  So you are using it ‘in vain’, that is you do not realize the power it has to alleviate all anger, sins, pain, etc.  So you misuse it!

This is by no means condemnation on My Part but I want you to come to know the Power in My Name so if you are going to use it, you will allow it to unleash its Fullness in your soul.

When you say My Name 'in vain', you definitely are not making use of the Power it can invoke.

Do you see what I mean?

If you are cross, call on My Name with the purpose of stilling your anger and calming your soul, not out of fury and frustration that all seems lost.

It will be, if you do not invoke My Name with the purpose of solving the situation.

I want you very clear on this, so do not stumble around using My Name recklessly.

Use it with the Strength and Power it wants to pour over and into your soul.

exercise

#1015   Sat. Aug. 11/19    10:25 a.m.  at home

I hope you brought your slipping rope.  Heh did that get your attention.  Does it tempt you to read on?

So many times we need to be caught so we pay attention a bit more.

If I had started with “I, Jesus, Love you’ you would have said you have read that so many times before.  Yet the skipping rope you had not heard before.

So, if you can, get out your skipping rope and skip to the rhythm of “Jesus Loves me.”

So, the opening line for some of you may be part of your exercise program – exercise for your body.

Now you can combine this physical exercise with a spiritual exercise and at the same time it will be a healthy brain exercise because it won’t have your thoughts racing off while you are skipping.

And for those of you who can no longer skip, you can still exercise body, mind and spirit.

Even if you are in a rocking chair to the rhythm of the rock you can say “Jesus Loves me.”

You see, I will not allow you an excuse for not uttering these precious life affirming words “Jesus Loves me.”

Allow Him

#1014  Fri. Aug. 9/19  4pm,  St. Theresa’s, Before the Blessed Sacrament   (missal)

Let your soul soar in the Hands of the Lord.

Allow Him to take your soul to unknown depths and heights.

Do not wonder why He is doing this.

Just allow Him to do this.

Quietness

#1013  Fri. Aug. 9/19   St. Theresa’s,  before the Blessed Sacrament (missal)

Quietly we adore.  Quietly we present ourselves before the Lord.  Quietly we await His Coming. Patiently and Joyfully we await His Coming.

Do not hesitate to be quiet in My Presence.  Hush all your prayers, requests, needing and sit quietly in My Presence.

Tell Me nothing and do not be anxious about anything.

Resign yourself to quietness.  Not only your body but also your mind which is most times running all around even when you body appears still.

Quiet your mind.  Give it to Me to hold while you generously sit with nothing, with nothing to say and no desire to hear from Me.

Just sit in silence with Me.
