Shed all your cares.

#4   May 16, 2012  -- St. Theresa’s adoration chapel

Be still, be quiet, do not be anxious about Anything.  Quiet your heart, slow your breathing, calm, calm.    Be still.  Now you are able to listen to Me.  Now you will hear what I want to say to you.

Think of nothing else but My Words to you.  Not of your gift for Emma or of your flooring, but of Me and what I want to say to you.

I am here alive and present with you.  I am as visible, more visible than those with you in the chapel right now.

You breath and I am there, you blink and I am there.  There is nothing that I am not in.

Don’t try to figure that out because it could make you crazy.  First believe it because I have said it.

Stop, look at Me in the Eucharist.

Are you willing to suffer for Me?  I know your answer, but consider are you willing to suffer for Me?  I won’t explain how or when, but are you willing to suffer for love of Me?

I suffered for love of you – that is what love really is – it is suffering, it is best expressed thru suffering.  Not necessarily physical suffering, but suffering all the same. Are you willing to give all you think is yours over to Me?  Or will you limit your sacrifice.  Will you withhold something from Me that you just can’t part with – that you think you can’t part with.

This topic upsets you doesn’t it?  Did you think I would call you to be a disciple and not ask you to give all of you to Me for Me to use?  A true disciple relinquishes it all.

Sit quietly with Me a few minutes and listen to My heart beat. My heart beats to the rhythm of love.  It is not glub-dub, or tick tock.  It is love. You heart beat would change if it beat to the rhythm of love.

Shed all your cares—they are worthless, less than worthless.  They are invisible in the grandness of Creation.

TRUST IN ME.

Ah, but you haven’t given the flooring problem to Me have you?  You are going to figure it out on your own. But why not ask Me?  There is nothing else I have to do but to respond to you.

Now sit quietly, look at Me, do not talk or pray. Let Me talk and pray in you.

(The Lord had me read Psalm 34 and explain it to Him.  Now He will explain it to me.)

Touch nothing, abstain from looking this way and that.  Look closely at Me.  So you didn’t see these words in Psalm 34, yet they are there.  How else can you find out about Me if you are looking around and distracted.  Gently discard what is on your mind.

I am the One.  Seek nothing anywhere else.  Always ask Me first.  I control All, am in charge of All, nothing operates without Me.  I am not just part of your life, I am All of your life.  So why do you pray for some things and not others – note the things you pray over leave you more at peace and vice versa.  The things you don’t pray over make you more concerned.  Wipe the slate clean.  Think about Me before you undertake anything – big or small, significant, insignificant.

Your thoughts should melt into My thoughts – your ways become My ways.

Hush, quiet, still. Slow your thoughts.  Don’t plan to do this or that.  Do whatever you do
‘in My presence’.  I have to melt into you.

So that is why you must learn to ‘live in the moment’ and when you do that you stop the frantic before and after thoughts and have lots of time and energy to spend in My presence.

Quiet, what are you planning now?  Focus on Me and not on you—you will make you frantic.  I will make you peaceful.

Isn’t it odd how we hate being frantic and upset yet we seem to be so familiar with it that it is hard to let go.

How many of us want to live in peace, yet we aren’t willing to give up the franticness because we can’t see how it will ‘work out’ unless we get upset about it.  We seem almost to be saying we have a right to be frantic --  that is the only way we can accomplish things.  All that accomplishes is dis–ease.

You don’t have to figure out why such and such is making you frantic – no answer will suffice.

Suffice to say, when that feeling comes upon you and it will unless when you live in My presence.  It is not ‘why am I feeling like this’, but rather how do I want you to feel in this situation – always feel loved, always feel at peace, always feel one with Me – IF that is what you are striving for.  OR are you striving for personal honor, glory, achievement?

You just said ‘but Lord I don’t know how to let go of this part of me that wants to be better than You.’   TRUE.

Yet when you come upon these situations, when do you take them to prayer?  NEVER, because you like feeling the centre, important, needed.  And if you would take a second to refer to Me you would be ashamed at your efforts to shine, when all honor and glory are Mine.  I am not trying to one-up you Margo.  I want you to realize that I am the Only One deserving of this honor and glory.  You can do nothing – your next breath and the next are in My hands.

Do not tell about something so that the honor will fall on or near you.  AND don’t brag to anyone when you have been able to hold your tongue (or temper).  You are still looking for affirmation.

Rather bring it to Me in grateful thanks for the graces I gave you that enabled you to let the light shine on someone other than yourself.  Let your tongue cleave to the roof of your mouth rather than look for gold rimmed compliments.

Why do you hesitate to Trust Me?

(#3)      May 2, 2012, Tuesday, 10am

(God to me in St. Theresa’s chapel)

Do not waiver.  Do not hesitate. Go forth in joy with joy.  Do not trample on others.  Do not disguise this Message.  Hold firm. Smile.  Be content.  These are My signs of My love for you.

Why do you ask Me for big things, when all you really need are God things?

Tell Me your concerns, spell them out.  How do you see them?  Then ask to see them through My eyes, My wishes, My concerns.  Oh you don’t think I have concerns?  Funny girl!

What do you consider ‘sufficient numbers’ for the conference?  Name a number.  (Lordy doesn’t this sound like the prophet begging for even one good man in the city God planned to demolish?)

“God I would like 50, but” – oh yes there is always the afterthought isn’t there.  You really want more than 50, don’t you?  Then why do you not trust Me enough to ask for more?  Why do you hesitate to trust Me?  What do you think stands in the way of you trusting Me?   Now look at Me in the Blessed Sacrament and ask that question and then wait for the answer and do not be ashamed by the answer but be enlightened that you obediently asked and patiently waited.  The answer might not come immediately.  I will choose when I think you are ready to hear it and act on it.

Now adore, praise and glorify and ask, then wait in Trust.
