St. Theresa’s church (church not open due to Covid)
O Sweet Jesus you offer us so
many opportunities to serve you.
Free me from other distractions
that step in the way of me serving You.
I don’t mean that you have to
remove all distractions, but I pray that You Grace me to see beyond
distractions to Your Most Blessed Way.
Do not let me wander off
thinking I am serving You when it is really only my plan for me.
I don’t mind at all if You show
me the True Way.
When you get frustrated is this
perhaps because something you planned is not coming to completion?
Aaah, now you know your
frustration is because it is not My Plan for you, because if you ache to serve
Me you will never be frustrated if you follow My Way.
It is a great way to see if you
have surrendered to Me or only a part of you wishes to serve Me.
Do not get discouraged! EVER!
If you ask Me to help you fully
surrender, fully Love, I will hear and answer.
Getting discouraged hints at how
you thought I wanted the job done!
Do you see what I mean?
Are you willing to be obedient
even in the slightest thing?
Do not, never seek grandeur because
then you will always be expected to feed your pride!
But if I give you an important
task, and each of My Tasks is important, do not look for recognition or
grandeur.
Then if you do receive acclaim
it will not feed your ego because you were not looking for it!
It is only when we seek acclaim
that we either then feed our pride. or even worse, we get upset because the
elation of others is not enough, so our ego is then offended and you fall
deeper and deeper into yourself and what you really need to survive.
