no decorations?

Dec. 19/13,  3:40pm, St. Theresa’s, before the Blessed Sacrament.

I have called you to write.  There is so much I want to share with My People.

They are rushing around trying to make things right.  That is not how it works.  Things become right only thru My Efforts, My Intervention. 

What we want to achieve on our own is what causes stress and upset.  Yet we are determined to do it on our own because we do not think that God has anything to do with this part of our life --- the preparation for Christmas. 

You presume I am only the Baby in the Manger to whom you will give the occasional nod. 

Yet I have called you to Christmas, not to celebrate the planning and getting ready, but to learn why I came into this World in the first place.

My Eyes perceive franticness.  I have not instilled that in you.  We coddle the Christmas decorations like they are supreme themselves and o so special.

Yet we do  not give the same love and attention to the Reason for the Season.

Would you be content to put up the crèche scene and not decorate anything else?  I know decorations please the eye – the human senses.  But how do you please your soul – your spiritual sense and well being?
