(the gift of genuflecting)
My People, Come to Me. Go down on bended knee and adore Me.
Show Me that you Love Me so, that you are
most willing to sit with Me and adore Me.
Does this sound pompous? I hope not.
I know it is not.
I want you to realize that by genuflecting
and adoring Me you are putting your life in order. It does not mean that we do not have a
personal relationship, it means that you want to serve Me as I serve you and
others.
Unless we are serving, down on our knees so
to speak, we think we are the #1 important person and we then look to be
served.
So humbling oneself in such a circumstance
as genuflecting, brings you closer to Me.
Do you get it?
This act of reverence does not put a
distance between us but rather brings us closer to each other.
You are expressing to Me that you are most
willing to follow My Lead in serving others.
We often seek to be humble, don’t we? Or maybe we do not seek to be humble!
Which are you seeking? Deep joyful humility or self-serving
gratification?
Boy, that certainly is a stark difference –
humility or self-gratification.
And it applies to all circumstances in
life. Are you humble enough to want to
be unseen, or are you eager to want attention?
Apply this question to any area of your life.
Do I want honorable mention or will I be
quite satisfied if my name never gets mentioned.
Ooooh.
That is a hard question for we want recognition, most of us do anyway.
And sometimes you may get your name ‘in
lights’. But the measure is, am I doing
it to get my name in lights and become famous, or important, or thought highly
of?
It is how we approach our life and
our efforts to serve. We can do great
things with a humble heart, or we can do things hoping that we will certainly
surely be recognized.
Do not look for your name ‘in lights’.
Pray that whatever you do that you will do
it with the deepest of humility not seeking ‘the lights’ but seeking to serve
your humble Lord.
Let your heart ache to be most humble. Let it run to My Most Sacred Heart and jump
into the pool of humility whenever you become distracted by the devil’s nagging
voice when he points out to you that ‘that person’ is getting all the credit.
Come to Me, all who are broken, and I will
give you rest.
Do you not think that you are broken when
you do not practice humility? And into
all those cracks and crevices do you not think the devil will pour in his
stinging balm of pride – me first, me I want to be first, me I deserve to be
first.
He has no control over a humble heart. Yet, when we don’t seek to serve with
humility our heart becomes most vulnerable.
So genuflecting before Me saves you from
genuflecting before him! Did you ever
think of it like this before?
So, thank Me for asking you to bow down
before Me. It is My Love for you that
wants to give you a gift of genuflecting, bowing down before Me, thus keeping
your focus on serving Me as I serve you and others, thus freeing you from
bowing before the demon of demons.
So each time you genuflect or bow, thank Me
for this outward gift to you that reminds your heart that you want to serve
only Me.
God Bless.
Have a Happy Good Friday. This is
not a time for tears, but more a time for rejoicing because of the Great Love I
have for each of you. Yes, you may cry
tears of joy and gratitude that I Love you, each one of you, so
much that I willingly, humbly go to the Cross to express this unconditional
Love for you.
Rejoice that I am leading you through death
to the Glorious Resurrection. Rejoice,
again I say, Rejoice!
