24/18, 4:30 am, at home
(God-Guards)
Silence the wanderings of your heart.
Bring it home before Me.
Do not let it get far from its Holy Base.
We sometimes do not even realize that our soul is wandering
off.
So that is why we must check it often.
Are you saying God’s Name in vain?
Are you speaking meanly of others?
How angry do you behave and quickly?
What has entered your prayer life that is not of God?
It is like an examination of conscience not to list what you
have done wrong, sinfully, but rather to check and see what has taken your soul
away from wanting to be with Me?
You see, we tend to check ourselves for sin, yet do not ask
or want to know the deeper question “Why do I not want to walk with God?”
We treat ourselves for sinning, yet do not check ourselves
for walking away from God.
That thought does not seem to enter our head.
Yet, when we sin, I am turning my back on God and walking
away.
Do you see the serious need for asking ourselves “Why am I
walking away from God?”
“What looks more enticing, appealing than My Precious God?”
Does it point to less prayer?
Does it indicate that I have walked with folks who are less
God-centered?
Does it mean that I take God for granted and that He will
keep me from sinning with no effort needed on my part?
Do I think of God just casually and not deeply and sincerely
and with love?
So, I do not need to know that you have been angry 3 times
today or spoken ill of another 5 times since your last confession.
The true search and confession needs to be ‘Why am I walking
away from God?”
This is a true examination of your very being.
It is like you have let down your God-Guard and allowed the
human weaknesses, that really are not strong, to have invaded your soul.
Get the picture in your mind.
You have all sorts of God-Guards set up around your
soul.
Yet when you get cross quicker, angry more, lie more ---
does this not indicate that your God-Guards are not in place?
Examine your conscience on not what you have done wrong, but
what you are not doing to daily strengthen your God-Guards.
--- am I praying less, letting my heart go to anger more,
avoiding my commitment for my soul‘s sake to the Will of God, choosing to do my
own thing and slacken off on serving God?
These are some of the ways we de-strengthen our God-Guards.
So, now that you know, now you can be more attentive to
serving Me --- not serving yourself.
