#322
Nov. 19/14, Wed. 10am, St.
T, before the Blessed Sacrament
Lord, touch us with Your Tender Heart.
Make our hearts leap with Joy knowing that
You are within our hearts and yet around our heart.
We are secure. In a safe haven. Learning what you want us to know --- how
much Loved we are by You.
Do not let our ego get in the Way of Your
Love.
Hasten, not because we are full of the ego
of pride, but because we are full of the ego of being more in charge than You.
We want to fix the situation. We are not satisfied to wait for You to fix
it in Your Good Time and in Your Good Way.
Our fixings are like band-aids that do not
stick. They seem to at first, but quickly lose their value and importance and
worth.
Why Lord are we not satisfied to wait for
Your Answer? Why do we think we can do
better than you?
“Wait on the Lord.”
We have heard and read that Lord, yet have
not taken it in. We are an impatient
people Lord, so the sooner a problem gets solved, the better off we feel things
are.
Help us Lord, Help us to be more obedient
to ‘wait on You.’
If we wait on You, Lord, we also serve you
by this waiting. You see, we think this
is a waste of time.
Who likes to wait? None of us.
We all get impatient – for a new baby to arrive, for an answer to our
application, for the tv program to start.
How much of Your Time, Lord, do we waste
just waiting? We for sure are not living
in the present. Because in the present
there is no such thing as waiting. It
IS. And that is the ALL of it.
So I wait till my time is up before the
Blessed Sacrament. Instead of my prayer
being --- thank you for the Blessed Sacrament, thank you for allowing me to
spend each moment in its fullest
with You.
Our moments in life are only at their
fullest when they are spent with You, Lord.
Instead of planning what I will do after –
which is not the present -- I do not use
this time with You Lord to its fullest.
Help me, Lord, to be fully present in You.
Just softly repeat My Name, Jesus, as you
sit before Me in My Eternal Presence. It
is as simple as that.
Certainly you can pray, read scripture, but
again the most simple way is to repeat and repeat My Name, Jesus, into each
second you spend with Me.
See, because I am telling you, that you are
in the fullness of Me when you utter My Name, Jesus.
You need ask for nothing, tell Me anything,
wonder about this or that.
My Name contains ALL. All you will ever need or want. Are you willing to put all your needs and
wants into My Name, Jesus?
Are you willing to Trust that as you
breathe My Name, Jesus, that it contains all the desires of your heart and
these desires appear before Me without you needing to mention them?
Will you take a day, an hour, a minute to
just breathe My Name, Jesus, and not add whom you are praying for, what you
feel you need, a world concern -- danger, dying, fighting, etc.?
I beg you to start this practice. Ask for nothing, bring Me nothing, just
breathe My Name Jesus. Allow Me the opportunity
to BE ALL in your life.
Free Me to BE ALL in your life.
