Surrender -- again and again.

How I want My People whole and happy.

Do not squander a moment living outside My Love.

Let Me sustain you this day.  Do not harbor any resentment or anger.  Do not be sad or distraught over such and such.

Run to immerse yourself in My Divine Love.

If I asked you what you needed right now, would you say “You, Jesus.”  Or would some other thing innocently replace Me?  It is even thinking these slight, yet huge changes that will bring you closer to Me.

“I need a sweater”, “I need to get my license”, “I need a hair-cut.”

They seem slight and innocent.  And they are not harmful in themselves.  However if we don’t realize that all we need is Jesus, then we are always seeking something --- usually a material need – and allow that to rule our day.

So if I ask you what you need --- what will be your answer?  Will it fall on the human level of life or will it fall on the spiritual plane of life?

It is a good check point.  If you are going through your day ‘needing’ to do this or that are you spending the same effort and time to need to be with Me?

This helps you measure your day. 

“How will I know Lord if I am giving You enough of me?”

Surrender each human need you have to Me, with thanks.

Surrender the fact that you need to go get some groceries.
Surrender the fact that you need to pick up a friend for an appointment.

I know I have told you to surrender each new, holy day to Me, but I ask you to keep in the surrendering mode, thought, throughout the day.

Otherwise it is like saying a Hail Mary at the start of your day and then saying no more till you go to bed.

Every small surrender brings you immediately into My Presence.  What I mean is that I am always present to you, but during your busy day you may not be stepping aside to be present with Me  ---  not out of meanness, a lack of respect, but rather it becomes disconnected.  Your on-going surrender continues to keep you connected to Me.  Like you do not want to let Me out of your sight.

Have you surrendered yourself to Me just sitting in this chapel?

Have you surrendered the paper & pen, the book itself to Me?

You ask “Why should I surrender Your Words to You, Lord?”   Because it is another part of you that I want .

Surrender the fan and the air from the fan to Me.  They are part of your day so surrender them to Me.

Surrender all the things that take you through your day, --- the car, your feet, shoes, the pew you sit on, the candles that announce My Presence, the rosary beads, the windows that light the chapel.

These are all material things that I have provided to you to see you through your day, so don’t hesitate to surrender them to Me in gratitude.

Like you may not be able to stand for some time in My Presence without feeling weary, yet you can sit in the pew with lots of time and energy to adore Me.

I have allowed things “to be” to see you through your day.

Surrender them to Me in grateful thanks.

When you offer Me something, usually it is of your choosing and of your creation.

When you surrender the same things to Me you are acknowledging that you have had no creative power over them and you really are only surrendering them, giving them back to, the rightful Creator of ALL.

Even the prayers you say have been given to you, even made-up ones.  Surrender the gift of prayer to Me.

Surrender the gift of sharing with Me your deepest hurts.

I am so present in ALL of your life and I just encourage you to realize this and make good use of it for your soul’s sake.
