Offer Me your pride and ego!

#381  Tues. May 5/15, 10:10am, St. Theresa’s, before Blessed Sacrament

I yearn to speak to My People’s souls.

How they get distraught by other’s comments.  How we get dragged away from the Love Center by a mere gesture, lack of a nod, a correction!

Isn’t it great how I give you these opportunities so you can be taught by Me once again.

Let these happenings get your soul to run to Me, your Love Center.

Do not let them throw you off course. 

Do not let them boil up inside you where, just a few minutes ago, you felt good and peaceful. 

Come quickly to Me not looking for retribution, a good answer, a comeback, an explanation, a one-up.

Come to Me seeking most meekly the answer as to why you have allowed the other, a mere mortal, deprive you of My All Presence.

If you are walking with Me, no matter what they say, do, infer, you cannot be dragged back to your human emotions allowing them to take root, rather than Me taking root in you. 

When you see this taking place, thank Me for revealing to you that you have not surrendered these deep emotions to Me today.  It is easy first thing in the morning to surrender all to Me when nothing has disturbed your peace.

But please, please, please anytime during the day if someone rocks your peaceful boat, surrender this very moment to Me and ask Me to still the waters of embarrassment, self-worth, ego.

Very few of us like to be corrected.  So tell Me now that even these small arrows you surrender to Me.  Really it is not the “instant hurt” or upset that you feel, rather it is the ingrained angst in your soul that has shown itself again and this is what I want you to surrender to Me.  It seems oh so nice when we can offer the pain of insult to the Lord as part of our suffering offering.  But really, really, I want you to surrender the part of you that even takes in this comment as a hurt, to Me. 

It goes deeper than your hurts – your perceived hurts.  It goes to places you have not surrendered to Me.  You feel hurt.  Why?

It is only pride and ego!!!

So do you see that is what I want you to offer to Me --- your pride and ego!

Thank Me, Thank Me, Thank Me for revealing this to you today.

Do not offer Me the hurt, slighted you! 

Do offer Me the pride and ego that wants to wallow in hurt and slights!

Leap for Joy at this new-found insight!
