the GRACE OF GOD'S SILENCE -- #1499 from Dec. 28, 2025

 #1499   Sunday,  December 28,  2025     8:31am     home

Stay silent a while.  Do not let your mind try to figure anything out.

Did I ask you to figure something out?

I wonder how many times my people present a problem to themselves when I have not presented it to them first?

Are you trying to keep busy so you do not have to listen to My Silence?

Are you afraid that silence does not produce anything?

Yet it does doesn’t it?

It quiets the mind and the body. It allows for both to rest -- rest in the Lord.

Do not hasten forward to quell the silence as if there has to be noise to prove you are alive.

Dare to sit in the Silence of the Lord, with the Lord, not asking, not telling, just being.

Maybe that is something you can consider doing daily.

Allow the Silence to fall gently around you.

Do not even record in your brain the sounds you can’t silence.

Just tell me you want to sit in My Silence.

Perhaps it is the Grace of God’s Silence that we all need and fail to ask for not realizing the power of it as a Grace.

REVIEW -- #1249 from Dec. 28, 2020

 #1249  Mon.  Dec.28,    2020      11pm         Mo’s

Wait on the Lord.  Do you see the obedience and surrender these Words of Mine call for.

Most times we do not wait on the Lord but rather storm ahead as if we have control of it all.

My, my but it does take a lot of time and energy to forge ahead to solve the problem on your own.

But it takes courage, humility, patience and much, much more not to want it as you will but as I Will.

 What a test!

But really, not a test but an opportunity to put into practice “wait on the Lord”.

In one instance it could be for you to wait for His Decision.

On another, it could be His request for you to wait on Him hand and foot caring for all that He puts in your path.

What a marvellous 2 messages are contained in these few words “wait on the Lord”.

How obedient we have to be to wait for Him to enact His Will.

How obedient we must be to wait on the lord and do whatever He needs doing.

Yet, both have the same message  ---- whether it is to wait in patience and obedience or to wait in joy and care and kindness.

It all comes down to us serving the Lord as He Wills it to be done.

How fortunate we are to have Him so handy that we do not have to go far at all to “wait on the Lord”.

Do not tie your dreams to material goods.

Be most content to be “waiting on the Lord”  --- eager yes to hear and do His Will, yet patient knowing His Will will come in His Good Time.
