Now is the time to pray.  

Really any time is prayer time, so ask Me for the Grace to use more minutes in your day to pray.

It will never be a loss to your time.  Really it will be time very well spent.

We want to plan our day of prayer, but rather give Me permission to jump in and lead you in prayer.

Who does not pray?  Are you one of those people who rarely prays?

Then who do you worship --- tv, radio, cell phone, who or what has taken you away from prayer --- even just a simple thank you is a very deep prayer if it is directed to Me.

Do we always need a reason to pray?  

Do you often ask yourself --- for whom/what should I pray?

Does prayer always have to have another intent?  I will pray for those in hospital, for pregnant women, for pilots.

Can we not just pray and allow God to apply my prayers where He best sees fit?

Do you think He will not direct them to a more powerful use than you?

It does not mean that you can’t pray with intentions.  

But, perhaps pray with the intention that God hears and applies it to something in my life or a need in the World.

What is to be said for the state of the World?

 Have you lost hope, that all is lost, that somebody better fix it?

 Are you offering to help Me fix it?

 Great.  So what do you think would be/should be your first task?

 To point out to others their folly and how they should correct them.

 It is always so, so easy to point out and go on and on about the mistakes and wrongdoings of others.

 Does that make it easier for us not to have to look at ourselves, through My Eyes?

 You see, in some cases when we look at ourselves, we feel pretty proud of what we have done and are doing.

 Yet others will look at themselves and feel miserable for they fear they have done nothing great and grand.

 In one case you build up your ego.

In the other you tear yourself apart as being so unworthy.

 Do you see the devils’ hands in both of these??

 One making you feel you are far better than many others.

The other that you are the worst of the worst.

 Do you see God at all in any of these scenarios?

 Of course you don’t because in both cases it is all about the “you”.

 How can God get your attention when you are so, so focused on “you” --- either in building your “self” up or breaking your “self” down.

 God wants to be ALL to you, but that can’t happen till you turn the All of you over to Him.

 Easy to say yes, but not always easy to do because the ego craves to be fed.

 And both are connected to the ego --- building up and breaking down!

 And you thought it was only building up that satisfies one’s ego, but the ego also thrives on beating yourself up.

 Did you know that?  Did you realize that?

 In both cases you are talking about, centered on “you”.
