Come aside and BE with Me.
And you thought you already
were. But think about it.
You definitely were with Me otherwise
you would not have stopped and come aside to BE with Me.
My “Be with Me” can take all
sorts of shapes and sizes.
It does not mean that what you
were doing was not with Me, but even I can jump in and change it up, right?
So, do not be disappointed
wondering if you were or not previously following Me.
Just be delighted that you are
following Me. “Lead me Jesus” takes on
many forms.
Do you see what I mean? If I ask you to pray and then ask you to do
something else in the middle of your prayers
-- ALL is aok because it is ALL
from Me.
Your prayer of obedience brings
you so much closer to Me. Did you
realize that?
That obedience is a prayer – of
gratitude, of delight, of trust, of sorrow.
What is this sorrow Lord?
Well maybe not so much sorrow
but disappointment that you feel the task you were doing for Me was not
completed -- because your good intention was to finish
that task – right?
But do not let disappointment
creep into our relationship.
If I was not leading you, then
you could feel disappointed because it was a task you had set for yourself.
You can never be disappointed by
being obedient to My Wish, My Call for you at that moment.
So once again check your heart.
If you are disappointed that you
weren’t able to finish your rosary --- ask yourself why.
If it is because of something
that you slip in to distract you, then ask Me for the Grace to avoid such
distractions.
On the other hand, if it was Me
jumping in to ask your obedience to what I want done, then again disappointment
cannot abide here.
So, check your moments of
disappointment. Do they point to your
plans for you, or My Plans for you?
One, you will ask for the Grace
not to allow disappointment to enter your soul.
The other, you will be delighted
that you answered My Call to you and let Me lead you.
