Piety and Pride

The day draws to a close.  But not our union.

Do not let anything disturb you.  Continue to trust and trust again in these Words of Mine.  I will not fail your Trust in Me.

Stay faithful, stay faithful.

Margo, you know My Voice – I only come bringing Love and Forgiveness.

I do not preach anything false.  I want you to know and hold fast to that.

I promise these Words of Mine are needed and will reach those who need to hear.

I have told you that My Words are rich in Mercy, slow to judge and abounding in My Immense Love.

Do not let your heart doubt or squash them.  Rejoice, Rejoice.  I say that you have been eager in your heart to hear these Words of Mine.

Do not let anything drag them from your heart in an attempt to make them look false.

I ask you to be faithful. I ask you to Trust.

My Love Words are needed in so many places, in so many hearts.

Give good example by Trusting in and clinging to My Words.  If you do not, who else should?

Do not let the slightest pebble in this journey throw you off kilter.

You are Mine.  I walk with you.  I lead you in the Right Path.

Do not wonder in your mind about this or that.  Just be true to your faith and Trust in Me.

The silence can only be broken by My Love Words shouted world-wide.

You see we live in silence.  The silence that fear brings about to make us feel that we are not worthy to proclaim His Good News of Love.  So we stay silent. 

I may tell you to be patient and wait on My Word but I never cautioned you to be silent about My Love.

Be sure to proclaim it to your own heart first and foremost.  Do not let your heart get caught in the surge of skepticism. 

I told you at the very start there would be those who would not be prepared to hear My Words and I further told you that I would take care of their hearts in My Own Time and Place.

Whereas for you, tell Me that your heart and soul have not been changed by these Words?

You would not be truthful if you denied the Power of My Words in your heart and soul.

So let’s go deeper.

Let’s practice piety, deeper piety.

“How should I be pious?” you ask.

Thank you for asking Me!  Now that you have opened that door in your heart I can enter in and show you how.

Sit with Me right now.  Close your eyes and let Me lead you in piety.

Be pious where no one can see your piety.  Avoid looking pious and only let Me see the holiness of your heart. 

Piety does not ponder things and try to figure them out.  Piety is obedience to My Will – whatever that may be.

“Lord I accept your will in all things.”

Piety is taking hold of Mary’s hand and letting her lead you to Me.

Do not shake off her assistance but rather seek her assistance.

Piety is trusting when all seems ‘up in the air’, at loose ends, no course of action.

Piety is relinquishing even your will to pray harder for a particular thing and letting Me take care of it.

While you are praying for the particular thing – even though you are bringing it to Me – this has distracted you from giving it to Me --- leaving it with Me with the greatest Trust.

We are hoping our prayers to Me will give you an answer for the situation.  You want an answer.

Yet leaving it ALL with Me is the answer.  Take you out of the situation altogether.  Do not look to be satisfied with an answer.  Look to be graced not to crave an answer.  Look to be more than satisfied leaving it in My Perfect Hands.

It is so, so tough.  Your will is you want an answer;  your need is to hand it to Me to be cared for by Me and maybe with NO ANSWER.

Our will still wants to be satisfied!  Right?

So do not seek an answer, seek My Will.  And be happy and joyful in the seeking.

Do not let a grumpy mood come over you, or do not say “I’m not worried” when really and truly you are. 

I know your heart. 

So each day bring your ego to Me – into My Sacred Heart.  Let the fire of My Love extinguish the pride and pompness you still have hanging on.

You pointed out your pride to Me today.  Thank God you are starting to recognize if for what it is.  It is painful, earth-binding, corrupting, and injurious.

It puts you out there way ahead of Me.

When you feel disappointment, Margo, remember that is pride inching its way into your heart and soul.

When you think about it, what do you have to be proud about?  And Why?

Nothing you have, have said, have done or plan to do --- NOTHING originates from you.  I am and will continue to be in charge of you.  Loving you, forming you in My Image, guiding you, drying your tears.

I, as me Margo, am nothing.  My worth and worthiness come only from My Maker, Saviour and Wisdom Giver.

Pride cannot take root in nothing.  So pride takes root when we set ourselves up in competition with others and with Me.

Pride sends you on a wild goose chase, trying to prove your worth to other human beings.

Pride drowns our relationship with God.

We only see Him and talk to him from our pride – and thus the relationship we think we have with Him is not a true real life-giving one.

Ache to be pious and pride-free.

You know you can’t see the real reality of Creation – of the world around you, when you are full of pride.

How can anything dare to be better than you, holier than you, nicer than you, have more friends than you, etc.?

Pride and low self-esteem go together you know.

You see pride always wants to prove that the person is so good, so much better, smarter, nicer.  If you really felt good about who you are you would not need to feed your ‘self’ with these cravings.

So where have we wandered this evening?

We can ache to be more pious and less proud.  That about sums it up.
